Just finished reading Roger Avary's adaptation of "Glamorama" which he will direct next year. Hilarious, horrific, sad. He's a mad genius.

Yeah, so I know what movie I will be most anticipating in the next year or so. I've been waiting YEARS for this book to be made into a film. I just hope Kip Pardue isn't too old now to play Victor. Regardless, I could not be more pumped about this.

I guarantee that you will never see Danzig on another Misfits album. He hasn't made music with them for almost thirty years and said many times he will not work with Jerry Only (the bassist, only remaining original member). So no, sadly he's not on it. Neither is Michael Graves, the second singer, who was different than Danzig but good in his own way.

So uninspired. It sounds like a bunch of dudes who wanted to sound like The Misfits but had none of the talent.

I'm not even going to listen to it. The only Misfit with any talent at all was Danzig.

What happened between he and Jerry Only anyway?

They never got along in the band. Danzig is a notorious douche and Only didn't like how demonic the music was becoming (he's Christian, surprisingly). They broke up and Danzig started the short lived (but fucking awesome) Samhain and Only started Kryst The Conqueror with his brother Doyle (also from The Misfits). Years later Only wanted to start the band back up but Danzig owned the rights to the name so they went to court and spent years in a legal battle over the name and licensing rights. Only can now perform and produce stuff under the Misfits name and Danzig gets a cut.

Doyle and Danzig still work together sometimes and years ago they did a tour together where Danzig performed Misfits songs for the first time in more than twenty years. I went to a couple of the shows and it was the greatest experience of my life. This isn't one of the shows I went to personally but still awesome:
