[Official] X Marks the Spot: Xfearbefore Xclusive Thread

I like to appear out of nowhere every now and then. How are you?

I've been alright. College is an interesting experience. Sorry to hear about you're friend.

Thanks, he was killed in Afghanistan. RI and NY both had flags at half-mast all week in his honor. Wake is today, funeral is tomorrow morning. Next two days are going to suck, massively.

You lucky prick you, college, god damn I miss it. Tell me some stories chap, what crazy mixed up misadventures have you gotten yourself into?

Oh and you heard the new Kanye album? Shit is fire.

Also, Clarity.

Damn. Sucks to hear about your friend, man. Hope you're holding up. Also, It's been a while since we chatted with one another, and shit.

Saw it and thought of you, which warms the cockles of my cold, puertorrican heart.

That's terrible man. I feel for you.

Oh there are several things to tell about. I got arrested within 10 days of getting there.

I know. I was worried for a second, but now I know it's gonna be a great album. Did you like Mr. Rager?

Thanks. His funeral was all over the news yesterday.

F'n loved it, one of my top 5 albums this year for sure.

Shit man

Well it was my first frat party and I had never really been beer drunk. I'm more used to vodka. I ended up throwing up outside my dorm hall. I don't know how I made it back that far. Other than that it's been a haze of drinking, tripping, and general excess. I also hadn't had a blunt before. That's all changed, and there's some dank shit around vtech. I just got back to dirty jerz.

Kanye is one of my favorite artists of all time.

By the way...ever hear of childish gambino?

I have heard of him, Donald Glover mainly because he's awesome on the show Community. I haven't actually listened to his rap stuff though, guess I'm going to have to look into it now.

In an unrelated note, this song makes me want to fight the gods:

I'm digging that Akala song you posted in the Cage X. It's such a mashup of styles yet ridiculously good.

How are you going X, I just read about your friend passing away. I didn't know him but I do respect him already because he was man enough to fight for the freedom on his country. I haven't seen anything about it over here on the news but that would be because if it has nothing to do with celebrities or sporting professionals then it takes a backseat to it. Which sickens me no end when news like Paris Hilton getting caught with cocaine or Lindsay Lohan going to rehab yet again takes precedence over something as disheartening as this.

How are his family holding up?

Hell yeah man I'm telling you check out that Doublethink album of his I was telling you about, I usually dislike most UK hip hop but this shit is incredible.

Thanks for the condolences man, very much appreciated. You're correct about it being sad that this isn't as big of a news story as something like Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan drug issues, but that's kind of the sad truth of the matter is that it's become normal for great people to be killed overseas right now in a war that we shouldn't be fighting.

His family is holding up as well as you could hope I guess. My buddies and I have been spending time with his wife and kids. Shit sucks.

Here's a link to the story about his death if anyone's interested.

It's unreal of you and your friends to be supporting his wife and children. I think it speaks volumes of the good natured people he associated with.

He was only 22 years old and stood up like a true man.

More honors will follow once the Army releases his body and he is brought back to Rhode Island for burial.
Did the US Army give Michael's family the Bravery Medal? I think he wouldn't have went any other way. He went down swinging no doubt, like a warrior.

Reading that story makes me feel like shit over some of the stuff that was said in the "Are soldiers Heroes" thread. People take for granted what is given and lost by soldiers. Good on you to keep his memory alive.

My condolences to you, his family, and all others that lost a loved one.

May he rest in peace.

You been watching the new season of In Treatment? That show was cooking with gas this week. Except for Byrne. He was cooking with flaring nostrils.

You know I watched the second season of that show last year, and I enjoyed it though it does throw a LOT at you with 4 new episodes each week, I kind of lost interest though and with all the shows I already watch I haven't caught any of the episodes of this season yet. Show was very good from what I remember, just was an unfortunate victim of my DVR list.

You been watching Dexter this season? I want to fucking cuddle in a pool of blood with Lumen forever and ever, that adorable bitch.

I find myself bogged down by the repetitive structure that the show follows each year, but I'm certainly watching it with fingers crossed that somehow the writers grow some balls and let Debra in on the secret. Of course with the way they've been nudging her this season towards sensitivity regarding killing bad guys, the big reveal won't pack the punch it should have, effectively continuing the spineless streak that I think the writers are on.

But yeah, I'd bang Julia Stiles. I still have a crush on her from the Jason Bourne films.

Nailed it.

Awful finale to a lackluster-at-best season.

Ever heard of Below the Heavens by Blu & Exhile? Listen to it as soon as possible.

I'll get right on that.

What's this NOT doing in page one? WHAT?!

I missed this thread, by the way.

We all did.

Thanks very much for the green rep xfear. I was surprised. Was there any particular film in that list I typed up that you repped me for?

I'm not entirely sure, what post was it that I repped again to refresh my memory?

As do I. For Kwanzaaa. There are 4 A's in Kwanzaaa, right?

Summed it up rather well, it's the same pattern Dexter has been on since Season 2. I hope there's some radical changes next season, and I'd like to see a more violent Dexter.

But yeah, I'd bang Julia Stiles. I still have a crush on her from the Jason Bourne films.

For sho'. Although my crush disappeared when she just fucking up and left Dexter. So fucking pissed about that, what a shitty way to end her character arch. Dexter should have fucking killed her like he did Lila.

Pretty much. I thought this season was really boring up until about the halfway mark, once Dex and Lumen started going after the rapists/killers it started to get good, and I thought the finale was excellent outside of how they wrote Lumen's character off, THAT was fucking stupid. The scene in the abandoned camp was extremely suspenseful though and I loved the closing scene at the birthday party.

Next season everyone should find out about Dexter and he, Astor, Cody, Harrison, Debra, the nanny chick, and even Quinn should all join up and start murdering people as a group. Make it a real family thing.

Nah I've got to work on Saturday, but I'll definitely download the show afterwards. What's the line-up look like?

Been kind of on a break from most indy wrestling lately, haven't seen an ROH show since Glory By Honor.

You're telling me you called Scott Pilgrim mediocre without even seeing it? Maaaan. What made you check it out?
