Heres me predictions.

WWE Championship - Lashley will FINALLY be the one to dethrone Cena. Cena and Lashley are both Vinces pets, but they have finally realized that Cena will still sell stuff without the title, and can anyone see HHH returning to take on Lashley for the title? That'd rock!

World heavyweight Championship - Kahli will win this one, although I have no idea how it will happen in a match. One thing I can see happening is Mark Henry being added to the rivalry on Smackdown, and they will have a faytel 4 way gimmick match, whatever ranks #1 on the current "List This".

ECW Title - John Morrison will win this, and it will definatly be the match of the night. Nuff said.

IC Title - At first I'd have said Umaga, but after seeing others reminding me of the Jackass angle, I say... Umaga. He will probably either lose it on RAW sometime soon, or worst, defend it against the Jackasses.

US Title - MVP just recently won it, and I can't see Hardy winning it yet, even if he is on a role. Hardy will win the rematch, but not this one.

Womans Title - Candice wins so that she can rival with the other heals.

Bull Rope Match - Dusty will win with the help of Cody, but Orton will desroy them both afterwards, setting up a handicap match at Summerslam.

Cruiserweight Open - Jimmy Yang Wang, hands down. The WWE adding this match is a good thing, whens the last time a Cruiserweight champ survived an inpromptu battle royal?

Singapore cane - Carlito will win when regal comes and attacks Sandman, but we all know Sandman will get the last laugh. And expect to see Hacksaw make a cameo.

I'm picking Lashley in this one. They are really pushing him, i think they give him a short title run before Summerslam.

World Heavyweight Championship: Batista vs Kane vs Khali
I'm picking Khali in this one. As much as i hate him as champ, i don't think they give the title back to Batista just yet, and it looks like they won't let Kane carry it, even though if anybody deserves it, it's him.

ECW Championship: Nitro (err Morrison) vs CM Punk
I'm picking Morrison to retain the title. CM Punk is the future, but since they just introduced Nitro's new character, i don't think they take the title off him yet, to give his new character time to evolve.

US Championship: Matt Hardy vs MVP
Matt Hardy wins this, it's his time!

Texas Bullrope Match: Orton vs Dusty Rhodes
Orton destroys Dusty Rhodes to add to his legend killer persona, and takes out Cody Rhodes as well, after the match.

Womens Championship: Candice vs Melina
Candice retains, i think Beth Phoenix and Mickie James interfere in the match up.

Intercontinental Championship: Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga
Jeff Hardy wins this, especially with all the rumors of them taking the belt off Umaga, probably because of the pic floating around with him holding the TNA tag titles from Bookers PWA show last month.

Sandman vs Carlito:
Uh, who cares really. I think Carlito wins it after Sandman gets DQ'd

Cruiserweight Open:
I'm picking Chavo to retain. i think this sets it up for Mysterio to return and take him out and capture the Cruiserweight title, before moving on to the World Title. Anyone else think Shannon Moore deserves a title reign as Cruiserweight Champ? they need to take the reigns off the Cruiserweights and let them shine and do their thing.. Shannon Moore could add that spark to this division with his "reject" character and high flying capabilities.

One thing i'm pissed about is there is no tag belts on the line here. I realize they needed to get the cruiserweights in, but the Sandman vs carlito is pre-show match at best. I would have preferred to see Deuce & Domino defend against Cryme Tyme (to get revenge for them breaking Deuce's nose last month). Cryme Tyme needs some tag team gold bad!

As much as I want to see Cena lose the title, I just dont see it happening. Cena retains, setting up a Lashley heel turn on an upcoming RAW

World Heavyweight Championship:
Khali retains, as they make either Batista or Kane chase the title before winning it at Summerslam.

ECW Title-
Morrison will retain by either pinfall or getting himself DQed. As many of you have said, it wont make any sense for Morrison to drop the title after a character change. He needs to win to gain momentum for the character.

IC Title:
Umaga wins but Jeff Hardy gives a vailant effort.

US Title:
I really would not be surprised to see be the match of the night. MVP retains, setting up a rematch(hopefully ladder) at Summerslam where Matt Hardy win his first US championship

Womens Championship:
Candace retains

Cruiserweight Open:
Chavo retains yet again. I wouldnt mind Jamie Noble winning the title, as he was a very good champion in 2002.

Texas Bullrope Match
Orton adds to his legend killer streak

Sandman vs Carlito
Sandman takes it, as Carlito doesnt seem to be headed towards any push.

I think this will be a solid PPV but for some reason with 7 titles on the line, I dont see a title change.

- John Cena vs. Bobby Lashley
I have Cena winning cleanly in a typical Cena match. It's going to be Lashley dominating the match with Cena getting all his moves in on the outside of the ring. They then use Lashley's agressiveness as the reason for him not being able to finish of Cena. Hope fully it on the short side, around 8 minutes, with Lashley getting in a lot of heel type manuevers.

World Heavyweight Championship
- The Great Khali vs. Batista vs. Kane
I see The Great Khali winning by pinning Kane after Batista did most of the work, setting up Khali vs. Batista at Summerslam. Probably will be around 15 minutes of slobber-knocking mayhem. There's one huge reason to keep Khali champion and that is to build up huge heel heat and put over Matt Hardy tremendously. I can see Khali holding the title until Cyber Sunday where Hardy is voted in the title match and comes out as champion because of the fans.

ECW World Heavyweight Championship
- John[ny] Morrison vs. CM Punk
This looks to bed the best matchup of the night. I can see both wrestler being put over in this match by putting on a great wrestling show. Morrison will retain cleanly as he is to be the next ECW project for Raw. Punk is no where near ready to carry a world title. He needs to go to Smackdown in next year's draft and start by winning some midcard titles, similiar to what Nitro did.

United States Championship
- Montel Vontavious Porter vs. Matt Hardy
This is a much needed title switch to help both MVP and Hardy from becoming stale. WWE did a horrible thing to MVP by having him job to Kane and Hardy. He was becoming one of Smackdown best attractions before that happened. They need to take the title off him briefly to help him etablish himself as the best heel on Smackdown. It will also give Matt the title credibilty he needs before chasing the World Title.

Texas Bullrope Match
- Dusty Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
This is basically the gimmick match the WWE has been throwing on PPVs recently to get more buys. Anything less than Orton putting Dusty off t.v. will come as a failure. Orton shouldn't be facing has beens, but should be facing never was beens (Cena). I have been waiting for Orton to beat Cena's ass ever since Cena interruped one of Orton's interviews a few years back on a PPV. I'm not sure which one it was, but Cena was US Champ and Orton wasn't IC Champ. It may have been the night Orton won the world title at SS.

Intercontinental Championship
- Umaga vs. Jeff Hardy
Sigh. I hoping for a huge Umaga/Foley feud over the IC title. I really think those two would be able to pull off a great series of slobberknocker matches. Basically what we get is Umaga being used as a transitional champ to drop the title to Hardy. Might be the worst combined built up/wrestling match on the card. Hardy comes out on top, begins his new prankster gimmick, and start pulling pranks on the one man everyone wants to see pissed off. And that man is MRRRRRRRRRRRR. KENNEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kennedy... IMO the wwe screwed up Kennedy's push by bring him to Raw. He's nowhere near the top heel, so he needs to become the top midcard heel before his true time comes.

P.S. Does anyone see Foley being involved with the Jackass angle? He basically is the wwe's resident jackass. Hopefully he comes out as Cactus Jackass.

Singapore Cane on a pole match
- Sandman vs. Carlito
Oh Vince. You are such a creative jeanius. We both know why this match is happening. You are going to use a cheap way to get the crowd going before the main event. Sandman will enter, beat Carlito's ass with the Cane, and spit beer.

Cruiserweight Open
- Chavo vs. Jimmy vs. Noble vs. Moore vs. Funaki
Chavo retains...Or so he thinks! Mysterio makes his return and takes the CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD to continue their feud.

now this is a tough one, but i see bobby lashley getting the belt. I think that wwe is starting to realize that cena can still sell without the belt and lashley can get over majorly with the fans.

now i see khali winning this one just because he just won the belt a couple of days ago. i see khali pinning batista setting up for kane to finally win the belt at summerslam so kane can be champion for when edge returns...

U.S. championship
MVP vs matt hardy
this one is gonna be one of the best match-ups of the night, but as much as i think hardy should win it, i do believe MVP will retain. hopefully this sets up a gimmick match at summerslam that Hardy will win.

I.C. championship
Umaga vs jeff hardy
now i see hardy winning this just to keep the belt away from the jackass angle. i think it will be an ok match up

Texas Bullrope match
randy ortan vs Dusty rhodes
is there anything i need to say bout this one. Randy kills another legeand and tries to then take him out like he did to RVD and HBK but cody interferes setting up a summerslam match

womens championship

i think this will be a short match with sandman coming out on top. Vince is giving him a small push and this is a perfect place to start it

ECW championship
john morrison vs C.M. punk
i definatly think that morrison retains. they would never give him a new gimmick just for him to quickly drop the belt. and i dont think punk will win if they have a gimmeck match at summerslam, but i do believe that C.M. punk will be champ before the end of the year

Crusierweight open
chavo vs JWY vs jamie noble vs shannon moore vs funaki
i think there gonna shake up the division with this match, so i think that it will come down to chavo and funaki, chavo will set up the gory bomb only to have it reversed into a roll-up and 1-2-3!!! funaki wins the crusierweight championship

Here i am, with a bottle of Cavernet, looking for a miracle tomorrow at the GAB, but why i am still waiting for the impossible??? Everybody knows that Cena is not gonna drop that belt, even if he lose the fucking match!!!

Cena is on the match, nuff said. Despite Bobby Lashley superiority in all aspects, The "Heart, Valiant Champion" will overcome the odds, AGAIN. ( Just see my freakin Sig for Christ Sake. )

LOL! It seems the circus came too early this year!!! Hahaha!! This will be a complete freak show, and we saw it at the battle royal on SD, those 3 guys are slower than Ric Flair, and that's too much! I expect Khali wining, maybe as stated before, Crap-tista will do all the hard work on the poor Kane, who instead of SD, he should be on a show called "Jobbing with the Stars".

I just hope that Cody Rhodes don't interfere in the match, but thats it's just what's going to happen. RKO to both of the Rhodes after a "bloody battering" suffered by Orton, and 1 2 3, Orton wins.

MOTN, Fo' Shizzle my nizzle!!! (This could be the macth of the night for sure, my nephew) Morrison and Punk are really giving the best of each other since match one, and this night shouldn't be the exception. Punk is rumored to be the new champ by tonight, but sorry, that's not going to happen, and yes, the new Morrison gimmick it's one reason, but the main reason is that this is not a worthy PPv to do the switch, and Summerslam is a month away, so...
In a great match, Morrison beat Punk with a SICK Corkscrew Neck breaker, placing Punk's feet at the top rope. Like a Kevin Thorn's Original Sin. SICK move(both the Cork and the sin) plain and simple.

Chavo Guerrero vs Jimmy Wang Yang vs Jamie Noble vs Funaki vs Shanon Moore
Some good aerial action, Funaki getting the beat as always, JWY with a couple of moonsaults , Jamie Noble and Chavo giving a good technical match, but the real interest i have on this, is if REY MYSTERIO returns after chavo retains, with a Gori Special over Shanon Moore.

Remember, while it's a bit of strength in his body, his heart will go on and he will give his best on the match, because.....THE CHAMPPPP.... IIIIIIIIISSSS. HEEEEEREEEEEEEE!!! (I don't know if I'm feeling sick because all the wine i drank, or because of this crap)

this one doesnt really excite me, pesonally id like to see a kane win here he well entruley deserves it but something says khali is gonna win cos it would be pointless putting the title on him for a few days

this one has got me realy intruged both are great wrestlers and im glad that nitro has had this push to show what he is capeable of. got a feeling there will be alot of action and high spots in this one and on pare should be match of the night just hope wwe gives it time ps nitro 2 win

CRUISEWEIGHT TITLE
glad this has been added, love the cruiserweight division. for me personally id like to see jamie noble win this as he my fave then feud with mysterio as i love their feuds but i see chavo winning to feud with mysterio

TEXAS BULLROPE MATCH
orton has to win this one cant see it going any other way. there building orton up quite big lately so a loss would seem pointless specially leadin into summerslam where he potentially could feud with cena

INTERCONTINENTAL
again this doesnt exite me i can see umaga dominating most the match but for the limited time jeff gets to attack umaga i see it as he will be trying high risk moves to get him off his feet. id like jeff to win but im gonna go with umaga

US TITLE
im not buyin into mvp as much as wwe are hyping him and matt well there something i dont like bout him so really this match seems boaring to me but ill stay open minded to the fact it could be a great match and id have to say hardy to win

WOMENS TITLE
this divison never been the same since lita and trish left, toattly need to bring in decent women wrestlers and on that note alone id say candice to win yes i know melina is probably better but you can see the effort and improvement in candice lately

SINGAPORE CANE MATCH
why o why? what is the point of this one carlito deserves a well better push than this and the only way i see this going is sandman is gonna humiliate carlito. there no way in hell sandman gonna lose where a singapore cane is concerned unfortuntley.

suprised there no tag titles on the card but if they were to appear id like to see major brothers and haas and benjamin win there respective brand titles. wwe need to give a huge facelift to their tag divisions i remember when they used to be great ie dudleys smokin guns steiners hardys e&c

Wow...The Great American Bash gets 1 out of 5 stars. Basically for the fact that Cena retained the title (Are you fucking kidding me?). Also, they keep the U.S. belt around MVP, other than give it to the deserving Matt Hardy for his years with the freaking company. I can understand Umaga defeating Jeff Hardy in a small way. But also, and here comes another shocker, Kane didn't win the title, or Batista for that matter...no, they keep it on The Great Khali. Really!? You're going to have two no-talents as your top champions? Horrible move by the WWE, HORRIBLE. Vince has lost his god damn mind. I'm officialy boycotting it until I hear some good news about it. (Hopefully a return by a major superstar, I.E. Chris Jericho, someone...)

What a crap PPV. No belt changes what so ever , not that that in itself made it crap , just again shows how terribly predicatble it all is.

The Hardy MVP match was decent but par for the course. The cruserweight invertational was probably my favourite match of the night really , with a surprising twist at the end.

Womens title match , dull. Get Candice out of there.

Carlito vs Sandman , not a bad match I suppose , but the whole point of the match was with the Cane.

Nitro vs CM Punk. Punk deserves better than this , but didn't show his ability in this match.

Randy Orton vs Dusty Rhodes. Anyone who went for a piss at the start of the match could have easily missed it. Short dull and predictable.

Khali , Dave and Glen. OMG how bad was this match. Khali shows what a bad wrestler to work with that he is. God help Smackdown!.

Cena - Lashley. What happened to the match that "the fans will be the winners". It was pretty poor. I was praying that Lashley didn't tap , but that allege FU for the win , terrible.

Like the way that not one heel lost (Unless you count the womens match , but Candice is hardly over is she). Great way to entertain the fans WWE.

Rating 1/10 and a lucky 1 at that.

I completely agree. Cena - knew it was coming to be honest, i cant stand the man. and as for khali, well what can i say, he cant even hold a match. 10 years kane has dominated the wwe for, and they can't even let him have the title for even a week.

The bash gets half a star from me.

& i forgot to mention. I am now going to stop watching until i gear some good news. Triple H better take that title away from Cena soon, as he is sooo average and borinnnggggg.

MVP Retains: Ok, i kinda dont blame the WWE for that, this feud wasn't a long feud, there will probably be a rematch at Summerslam, then Hardy should win. I am fine with MVP winning, if Matt gets a bigger push or a rematch at Summerslam, then i dont blame them for this!


Hornswaggle = new champion! : I love this idea! It is very funny how Jamie Noble is put in charge of cruserweight matches and BOOM this happens! This is really great! This is exactly wat WWE is, ENTERTAINMENT!! IMO, this is really funny and great! Another reason for me to watching smackdown on friday!

Candice Retains: Obviously this was going to happen, and i am not upset at all that Candice won! I like her, and i feel that she has worked very hard for it!

Carlito wins: Kinda upset that Sandman didn't win! THink that WWE dropped the ball on this one! Whatever.

Umaga wins: (Sigh) Would have been happier if Jeff won at least by DQ or something. Whatever....again.

Nitro....Morrison wins lol: Not a BIG shock. I see a rematch at SUmmerslam...so yea good match lol!

i hated the outcomes for those 3 matches! But i loved the Hornswaggle match! lol...(sigh) this ppv could have been the best....but bc of some outcomes....you get the point lol

I think for Bash 08 War Games or some other concept needs to be brought back or brought to the table for the first time. Has there been an enjoyable GAB since the WWE has brought it back, not to me at least. They need a gimmick of some sort to get people to watch it next year. Could you have imagined Team Dusty vs Team Orton in a five on five match. Or even inter-promotional like ECW vs Raw. I think it would have been more entertaining than the crap they gave us tonight

i went to a pool hall and saw this with bunch of people. i am so glad i only paid 5 bucks to shit this piece of crap. it was by far one of the WORST ppv's i have EVER seen, the only half way decent match was the cruiser weight match, the rest were pure crap it. i am completly done with wwe untill something BIG happens.

I'm sorry to come in and set myself up as a "Stupid person" but do the outcomes of the matches necessarily make it a bad pay per view alone? What about the content of the matches? Why give Khali the title in a battle royal involving Kane and Batista if he was just going to lose to one of them 2 days later? Why change Johnny Nitro's persona if you are just going to squash his push?

I thought the matches for the US title and the WWE title match were actually pretty good. The ECW match wasn't bad either.

I also agree it was better than Last year's event.

and true, the wrestling moves r inmportant but i hardly ever watch a match to see the wrestling, i watch it to see teh winner and if anythign big happens!!

Achilles I wouldnt be surprised if people overlooked your opinon as well. But everyone is entitled to their opinon. Who are these people you talk about? How are they smart? Do you have any proof of this? Any evidence? Other than a poll?

I havent watched GAB and might downlaod it and so later. From what I have rread from the results the Punk/mOrrison, Hardy/Umaga, Cena/Lashley and MVP/Hardy matches where all solid matches. Whereas Khali/Batista/Kane was as good as you could expect with the guys involved, that is crap.

You complain about Khali retaining the championship. Who were the alternatives Bret Hart? Kurt Angle. Oh no it may have been Kane and Batista. Yeah there is a real improvement with those two guys right there. Kane might be over, but is not as over as he once was. Even though it pains me to say as a Kane fan, he is horribly slow and sloppy in the ring. The less said about Batista the better he is just crap all around. So not a bad move by the WWE. Khali is horrible no doubt. At least I can laugh at the horriblness of his matches. Think how over someone will be when they slay the giant.

So Mat Hardy should get the belt because of his service?? Ok why not put the belt on Val Venis and Big Daddy V while we are at it?? Nothing wrong with this choice. MVP has faced and beaten both Fliar and Benoit, he is ever improving in the ring and I think deserves a good run with the US belt. It was too soon into this feud for MVP to drop the belt. Dont worry im sure that they will have a rematch at Summerslam and your beloved Mat Hardy will get the title then.

Jeff Hardy and Umaga? One match outcome I didnt agree with. What is the point in having the belt on Umaga? His gimmick doesnt need it. The IC belt had prestige when Jeff had it in the past. I hope they arent including this in the whole Jackass thing. Mistake here imo.

Cena and Lashley? Was it predicatable, sure it was Cena does it again. Was it the right choice by the WWE?? I think it was. Like it or not Cena is the face of the company. He brings in lots of money for Vinne and has been for a long time now. Do you really think they would let his title reign end at the GAB?? If you did than really your a fool. The golden boy is only going to lose his belt on a big PPV, for instance Summerslam. Who would I rather see the belt on Cena or Lashley? Ill go with Cena thanks. Despite everything that goes on, at this point having Cena as the champ makes sense. He will lose it soon, hope he does. But hopefully not to Lashley.

Oh btw Very Solid Match was the general take on Lashley and Cena, havent seen it so cant judge though.


Morrision beating Punk?? Again not a bad outcome. Punk will get the belt at Summerslam.

Hornswoggle winning the Cruiserweight title. Now who would of thought that? Thats a move by the WWE that I dont think most people saw coming.

Rag on them all you want. But in most cases the right decision was made in a booking sense at GAB.

It's not about which year was better, or which was the best etc, the event was crap, end of lol.

What made it crap was that it was predictable.
if the matches where exactly the same, but there had been different out comes, then it would have been a better PPV! For example having a bit of a title change.

& the WWE now have this thing, its like a pre- match prediction. where you know the first superstar that comes out to the ring is always going to loose and the last one always wins.
for example if it was
Matt vs MVP and matt came out first - we know mvp is going to win, and before people say, the champ has to come out last... well its not always the case, as ive seen champs come out first...and it even happens in non title matches

I actually have no problem with any of the champions right now. And that first person out to the ring thing... that's just absurd. Dusty Rhodes came out second and didn't win. And the champ usually and traditionally comes out last, though it has been changed for whatever reason sometimes.

I hate to jump on the bandwagon, and respect that you have the right to voice any opinion that you like. This is Alerica for God's sakes. But I will be truthful and say that I will be ignoring it, as this PPV was truly horse crap.

Cena retains- Better him than friggin Lashley. Lashley is stiff, can't wrestle to fluidly and sounds like a girl on th mic.

Khali retains- So they want to make the giant the man to chase. Who gives a crap. He sux on the mic. He sux in the ring. Nobody is pleased.

No tag team title matches?- no wonder this division is going to hell and nobody cares. It's because they don't even give the titles any kind of importance. If the women's title gets ppv matches and neither of the two tag titles do, then that's fucked up.

Hornswoggle as cruiserweight champ?- The only thing worse than this was when Chavo had to beat a woman for the title and Chavo Classic was the champ.

it's crap like the above that keeps viewers from even wanting to see the damned ppv's. if you devalue the titles and wresters, then you devalue the product. Plain and simple. I aint aint overjoyed over this crap and see why people gave it an F. You can be happy all you like dude, but this is yet another sad day.
