in all the years as a wwe fan i can say that i have never been as annoyed i mean i do not hate cena as much as others do but god what is the point being a wreslter cuz no1 is ever gonna be wwe champ again GET THE BELT OFF HIM give others a chance jus shows likin vinnie macs arse does get u places. overall tho okay ppv cud of dun with a few more shocks in the matches i mean we all knew HHH and rey were gonna win their return matches.

Kane-Finlay this match was decent for being a last minute match. i believe it could have went either way but i knew that the big red machine would win. but all in all it was a decent way to begin the PPV.

Umaga-Carlito-Kennedy. i believe this was an ok match i believe the three could have put on a better match. i was disappointed that Kennedy didnt walk away champ. It might start a feud to build Kennedy to the top. But i am so glad Carlito didnt win. All in all a decent match but i expected a lot more.

Mysterio-Chavo I loved his silver paint, Dont ask why. honestly the only reason why i watched this PPV was for the return of Rey Mysterio. i am not a HHH fan. anyways i didnt see much high flying action from rey rey but chavo did work on his knees.how come every one of reys opponents happen to fall between the second rope? I wasnt expecting much though from a guy that hasnt had a PPV in so many months and for a guy that was advised to never Wrestle again.

Diva Battle Royal. there isnt much you could say. i knew Beth Phoenix would win. She is basically the only womens wrestler , not Diva turned wrestler. Hopefully she gets the belt off Candice.

Cm Punk Morrison- Honestly this was my biggest Complaint. i thought Punk would win, but i am the same person that said the PGH Pirates would have a good yr. i guess they are trying to keep the belt on Nitro.ooops John Morrison because there really isnt any star power on ECW and IMO i dont believe Punk is not ready to become champ. this match could have been booked better and the ending was very bad. it made the match look worse than it actually was.

MVP challenge. i didnt care for it that much when Austin came out i knew MVP was gonna get stunned but i was happy to see Austin.

HHH-Booker. i didnt care for it that much i knew hhh would run away with this match he basically dominated it from start to finish. The crowd really wasnt into it either because the average fan knew HHH was going to win. IMO it was basically a squash match. Booker really had no chance of winning. But it wasnt to bad but they really had no chemistry in the ring together.

khali Boretista. I knew a bad match was coming. Any match with Khali and Boretista is a risk. They match was maybe 6 minutes long. also the fans deserve better than a Dq on a PPV match for the heavyweight championship. IMO this was truly one of the worst matches i have ever seen and it was the worst ending i have ever seen on a PPV.

Cena-Orton. I wasnt surprised at all. Orton dominated the feud and cena got no offense. so i knew cena would win the match. honestly i thought it was a good match. i got mad for all the headlocks and stuff that orton was doing repeatedly. I believe it was a good match and Cena is the best in the business today so he deserves to be champ. i believe this match was carried equally well by each competitor and was actually a good main event.

WOW! - I'm not sure I've ever been so bored watching a PPV before.

Was I the only one to think that it was basically the same as the Great American Bash. Which was boring and predicitable. And the ones that weren't predicatble , ended up with a dull result as it was.

Kane Vs Finlay - Average match. I can start to see when watching this when people say that Kane has lost some ability in the ring , although I think given the right push , would be a much better option for the WHC than The Great Colon and Dave.

IC Triple Threat - It never really got going did it. None of them seemed to be able to wrestle with eachother to any decent level. Made it a very hard match to watch.

And one thing , what is the point of Umaga having the IC Title. I almost think he's slightly bigger than that , not that much , but enough to be in more advanced storyline.

Rey Rey vs Oooh Chavo - OK match. Chavo really isn't at that level really , and should go back to the Cruserweight stuff. Rey looked rusty (In more ways that one!) , but he'll get that back over time. What was up with that silver paint.

Diva Battle Royal Pretty much as expected. And Beth Phoenix was always going to be one of the most likely to win with Melina , Mickie James and Perhaps Victoria. Hopefully this thing will lead to Candice losing the title ASAP.

Beer Drinking - I don't see why the WWE think this makes decent telly , because it doesn't. The Austin "Return" (Given as he was on Telly only 8 days earlier) , was well a bit surprising considering that he had been at SNME , but inevitable. It was a poor segment , but I suppose it develops what I feel is actually one of the best storylines in the WWE at the moment.

John Morrison Vs CM Punk - This , probably the only other developed storyline in the WWE along with MVP/MH , was a little dissapointing. The match didn't really show what these two future main eventers could/should do. And I was a little surprised that he CM Punk didn't win tonight.

Triple H vs Booker - I don't know really , another complete banker of a match , and I really didn't think that HHH needed this match , and they should have left his return till tomorrow night. I really hate the "King" Booker gimmick , really starting to get boring and stale. Drop Sharmell and do something different before he finishes.

The Great Colon vs The Animal - There aren't words to describe how bad 1. This match was 2. The Great Colon is. Just a terrible match , how the WWE think that Khali is at all watchable is beyond me. It made Batista , who's a fairly awful wrestler as it is look terrible. Khali just , just urgh. I give up with the WHC. Unfortunatly (well maybe not as bad as we think) , Batista should win outright at Unforgiven , and get Khali of the telly.

Cena Vs Orton - Horribly slow and boring match. How many holds did Orton need to put on Cena. And then , after dominating the whole match , and having his finisher kicked out of (I'm sorry , but no self proclaimed legend killer hits his finisher , and then checks his knee out before the pin). Cena hit one move all night. And that got him the win. Hopefully Triple H starts the return to the title to get this crap off telly.

1/10. Terrible PPV , again no match really surprised me , and the quality of the wrestling was poor. And as for the two main title holders , you've got two guys who frustrating and completely unwatchable.

Just give HHH the WWE title , SOON.

I was respecing him cause I respect almost all of the wrestlers off camera and all the anti cena fans that were there wanted to shake his hand.So basically I'm a pretty lucky guy and I'm so sure that you would would've rioted with a 6 foot 5 280 pound bouncer ready to take anyone out who moved over that barrier so don't act like you would've done something.And if I'm an embarassment to wrestling you gotta be lower for actually showing not an ounce of respect to a guy (Cena) who works his ass offf 24/7.I'm sayin this as an Orton fan.

I thought it was a very nice gesture. He doesn't like Cena, but he still respected what Cena did in the ring. That's what fans SHOULD be doing.

Easily Cena and Orton both men performed well and it showed they put on a good 25 or so minute match plus with the crowd was so hot for this match they definitely weren't let down Cena did a great job selling in this match as Orton was dominating most of it. probably would have liked to see more offense out of cena but i cant complain. now i definitely would have liked to see orton win but this feud could continue so it still could happen however if Cena wins its gonna be a long time until anyone takes the title from him.............................DAMN! but overall good match Cena is still impressing me with another solid performance great match on a decent pay per view

I'll toss in my 2 cents to Summerslam....

Kane vs. Finlay I thought this match was a great opening match. Kane definately looked good in my opinion, better than many doubters give him credit for. Also showed how 2 veterans can work the crowd through a good match, compared to the clusterfuck that was the triple threat match.

Umaga vs. Carlito vs. Kennedy This could have been a much better match than it was. These are 3 great young talents who have tremendous upsides and in my opinion will all be main eventers. However, they just seemed to lack direction in this match. I'm not upset with Umaga retaining, since Kennedy will not need a title belt on him if he is indeed going to be a part of the McMahon illlegimate son storyline.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Decent match, you could definately see Rey's ring rust. But I give him credit as the doctors had advised him never to wrestle again. Am I the only one who thinks Chavo is grossly underrated. I think he needs to be on the level of the U.S. Championship. If Hardy beats MVP eventually, whenever that feud is over I think Chavo should be elevated to feud with Hardy. Chavo always delivers in my opinion.

Diva Battle Royal Not much to say about this one, it is what it is. Good to see an actual wrestler win this thing. Hopefully this will lead to a Beth Phoenix & Mickie James feud after Beth wins the championship.

MVP/Hardy/Austin Segment Good segment, always fun to see Austin again. It can help add fuel to the fire so to speak for the MVP/Hardy feud. I hope that MVP is able to overcome his heart condition, because he is turning into a great heel for the WWE.

Morrison vs. Punk Again, like the IC title match, could have been so much better. Seemed rushed and had a cheap finish. Cheap finishes just should not happen at Summerslam (the 2nd biggest ppv). I think both of these guys are tremendous athletes and talented (especially Punk), but am I the only one who thinks they just don't "mesh" well in the ring. Things always seems akward to me with these 2.

Triple H vs. King Booker Great to see Trips back, he is easily the best talent they have (besides the Undertaker). The match was basically what I expected. Trips has some ring rust to shake off before moving onto challenging for the WWE title, which I look forward to greatly!

Batista vs. Great Khali Slow, snoozer match as expected. However, I am fine with Khali retaining because I do not want to watch Batista as champ again. Plus Khali is just holding the title until Taker comes back to take it.

Cena vs. Orton This was a thoroughly entertaining match and had me on the edge of my seat throughout. I was firmly rooting for Orton in this match and marked out big time when he hit the RKO. However the writing was on the wall in the buildup to this match. They pushed Orton as the legend killer destroying HBK/RVD and others, plus had him get the upper hand over Cena repeatadly leading to this. I deep down knew Cena would retain, but had fun rooting against him. I must admit that for a while I was completely in the "Cena Hater" crowd, however now I must admit that he can work a crowd. Sure he has 5 moves of doom, but what wrestler doesn't. He is a good tweener champion, the kids and girls are able to cheer there little hearts out for him to win in superman fashion while the "smarks" constantly root to have him lose.

I'm off my soap box now...all in all I think it was an entertaining ppv. It could have been much better due to a couple let down matches though. I am definately ready for a long WWE Championship run for Triple H.

I kinda regret spending money on this PPV. But thought I should before going to RAW tonight. Rey vs. Chavo was a decent match. Nothing new or out of the ordinary just the same match they've always done minus some flare since Rey was so rusty. The whole having HHH the focus of Summerslam made what should have been a good match a squash. No one thought for a second that Booker had any chance of winning. I just hope that if the feud continues Booker can get a couple pins on HHH before it's all over even if he has to pull the tights or something. Batista vs. Khali was the worst match ever, for 2 guys who need someone with far greater talent to carry them through the match it was expected. It's just sad there's no one on Smackdown to carry the title until Taker comes back. Cena vs Orton was a good match and no one can deny that Cena works hard, but his matches are utterly predictable. It's always a come from behind victory...Some change would be nice.

Oh, come on...you know good and well if Cena put his hand out, you'd be slapping hands with him just the way the Hogan haters did. I haven't seen the match yet (a friend recorded it so I'm watching tonight), but Cena works his ass off to entertain people, and he deserves at least some respect for not being a lazy asshole like some other wrestlers. He's a good person, protects his fellow wrestlers in the ring, and able to laugh off getting booed and hated and still go out there excited to do his job. How would you handle having people hate you for no reason other than women and children like you?

I know the results but I want to see how the matches flowed. I'm not making any judgements until I see them myself.

You know what, to clearify, I DO respect John Cena & I respect his ability.. all I was saying to that other kid was.. I'm tired of hearing everyone bitch & moan about hating Cena & make signs like that, then not follow through on what it says.

The people at One Night Stand, last year in New York.. I can almost guarantee each & every one of them would've rioted had Cena won. Since that night.. the sign "Cena Wins & We Riot" has just been used & abused. But like I said, I'm almost sure that there wasn't a single person in that arena that wouldn't of been so pissed.. that they wouldn't of went to jail & paid a fine.. just to punch Cena. Look, point blank.. if I offended you.. I'll apology to you & everyone on this board for what I said. All I was trying to make clear is.. you as a "Cena hater," come on here & say you have new found respect for the man.. because he shook your hand.

I'll give my take on the matches from summerslam

Kane vs Finlay:

Decent match, I was kinda bummed that hornswaggle came in the ring and ruined what could have been a great match, but it was a last minuite match so whatever

Umaga vs Carlito vs Mr.Kennedy, Kennedy:

Pretty upset that kennedy didn't win, not very happy that umaga did either since i am not a huge fan of his, it was alright but nothing special

Rey vs Chavo

Was it just me or did it look like Rey gained like 20 pounds, wasn't digging the silver, you could see alot of ring rust from rey but both wrestlers were able to put on a good match

Divas battle royal:

God damet, why couln't the have had the tag team dark match in place for this match and have the battle royal on raw, I was kind of dissapointed that melina didn't win but beth can actually wrestle so thats good I guess

Hardy/M.V.P/ segment:

I was really pissed when I heard that this match got taken off the PPV since it was my favourite match from GAB, i knew right away that austin was going to come out, it was pretty obvious that he was going to give M.V.P the stunner but it was funny to see, and I loved how M.V.P reallly oversolled it

Morrison vs Punk:

How can the WWE screw another match of theres up, they had a good match at vengeance but at GAB and at Summerslam it was nothing. The ending was botched at GAB and at Summerslam, why couldn't morrison have one with is finisher?

HHH vs King Booka:

Nice match, great to see HHH back, still kind of weird seeing him as a face because he was my favourite heel of all time but he still can wrestle and looked like he was working out during his time off

Batista vs Khali:

Horrible match, the fans actually had to start a wave to keep themselves entertained and even in the theatre where I was watching the PPV I started the wave as well. Went six minuites long and was probably the worst match of the year:

Orton vs Cena:

I was ready to have a party at my house to celebrate the orton era but Vince screwed me once again. Seeing orton dominate 20 of the 21 miniutes fo the match was good, and I jumped out of my seat when he hit the RKO but it was not to be. Saying Cena put on a good match makes no sence he did 6 moves in the whole match, and screwed up the neckbreaker he hit on orton. Let me get this straight cena can kick out of an RKO while being dominated the ENTIRE match but orton, who was 100% going into the match and took about 5 moves the entire match can't kick out of a firemans carry, Bull Sh*t. Sly I would like to see you defend the F-U and tell me how it is a devistating move because I would like to know.

Overall it was a pretty poor PPV i give it a 4/10 and that's being generous

I'm not offended at all haha.I was just making a point.Yeah "I'm a Cena Hater" when he's on camera,I don't like his character and I havent't liked it since August of 2005 really.Off-camera he's one of the nicest wrestlers I've ever met.Yeah I was holding up that sign and I was proud of it.But,for him to come over and shake my hand while there were other anti cena fanswaiting to shake his hand.Me and my friend are pretty lucky I think.But yeah nY is much worse and the sign has been overused.I've had that sign since a show around the same time as One Night Stand.

the only other thing I was saying was that for being a fan for a while,I think that wrestlers put themselves through alot.Making signs to me is like your apart of their gimmick ya know.
P.S.I really hope they take the strap off Cena 2nite.

My top match was orton and cena, but both still underperformed, Orton's main move of a headlock is getting so annoying and the ending is predictable. If yuo want to pick a aprt what I said about cena do so in teh cena thread;

the following I'm going to send to WWE because the PPV was terrible;

For more than fifteen years I have been a wrestling fan, and I have always stuck with the WWF/WWE product over the likes of WCW and TNA. I have enjoyed the story lines and the wrestling, but after watching SummerSlam last night I felt I had to write to you to express my disappointment with the quality of the PPV.

SummerSlam is billed as the biggest party of the Summer, one of the big 4 PPVs of the year and really last night it was just poor. I paid £15 (about$30) and stayed up until 4am to watch this event, as it usually is one of the best, the next 3 hours were somewhat a waste of my time. I will go through and say why.

Firstly the quality of matches was poor, Kane vs Finlay I did not feel warranted a PPV match, the quality was just that of a normal Smackdown! match and was highly predictable. The IC match was a big let down, I was looking forward to this, but all in all it was a disappointment as was the return of Rey Mysterio. After that was the diva battle Royal, which again was an embarrassment to wrestling, some of the wrestlers in this match can actually wrestle, let them do it rather than just being eye candy. The ECW title was about 10 minutes at the most and when will you grasp the EXTREME part of ECW?

The other two main title matches were quite annoying with Khali and Batista having what I can only say as the worst match I have ever seen at a PPV, it was so terrible. Then onto John Cena, you heard the boos he's meant to be your biggest face so why is he getting booed? I for one am sick of seeing him 'overcome the odds' with the 5 knuckle shuffle, the STFU, kicking out of the oppositions finisher and then the FU for the win. This we've seen enough times already, please have him do a different ending to a match.

Aside from that there was a severe lack of any tag title match, what is going on in that division? I would give ideas such as unifying the belts but it's quite clear that you're not interested in the tag titles. So that leaves us with the last thing. Why at a PPV that people have paid up to $40 for where some of us have stayed up until 4am to watch do we have five backstage promos, and one in ring promo. The Austin segment was great, but really do we need this on a PPV, I'm a fan of promos but SummerSlam really isn't the place for it. I'm not even going to ask about what is going on with Mae Young, she's in her 80s and one of the greatest women wrestlers of all time, do you want the younger fans to remember her as an old woman ****? It's not even funny anymore.

I feel sick after Summerslam...I really started to think about what might be the cause of my illness. Was it the hot wings? No couldn't have been I've eaten those time and time again. Was it too much beer? No you can never have too much beer. Was it seeing HHH return? No way that was great. Was it...no couldn't have been...ohhhh now I know why it was seeing John Cena win the god damn WWE Championship once again. Seriously tho I gave Cena props early in his career and just him being shoved down my throat time after time again is just stupid. I remember the good old days where the title would go back and forth from one superstar to another during the feud. Having Michaels lose to him at Wrestlemania buged me, having Edge lose to him pissed me off and now Orton enoughs enough. If they just stopped trying to milk the Cena Cow for all its worth the fans would be much happier. But the money hungry marketing assholes see it different and see dollar signs with Cena so of course he'll keep the title not on talent but on marketability. Cause who's buying the toys the shirts the foam fingers etc...all the dumb crap that they sell...the kids and the parents for the kids which is what Cena's primary target audience is. So to end my rant Cena makes money from selling stupid shit and thats why he's the champ.

I Saw summerslam and realized, The WWE gave me nothing ive wanted for a long time. Just like TNA Everytime i watch i get mad, not Heat mad, But I have trouble paying my bills and i wait YEARS for cena orton 1on1 And he Wins like that? Fucking pissed! Fuck RAW. summerslam felt like i was watching a bad TNA PPV, I'm done, i'm getting a second job, 2nd shift mondays nights. I'm done untill it changes, I quit watching impact because of this, I would be Unfair to watch Raw when i'm equally displeased. P.S. the Triple H match was lame.

Thats sorta funny I mentioned this looked weak before it even happened, and it ended up being an atrocity...

I agree with big will in saying the NJ crowd let us down tonight...The crowd, and atmosphere is a big deal to me, and for me, adds a lot to the entertainment value of a show...and NJ crowds usually rock, especially in a smaller more packed in intimate arena like they were in last night..and the crowd was jus dead for most of it, besides cena-Orton...they didnt even pop that hard for trips, which shocked me...

Finlay VS Kane
eh, was what it was supposed to be...short lile match, solid action, no build, and meant nothing to anybody...while we couldve had a tag team cahmpionship match instead (gee cryme tyme is over enough to do what was one of the most entertaining things on the show, but fuckin A if we can get them in a damn PPV tag championship match...stupid...)...6.0

Umaga kennedy carlito IC championship
Yeeeaaa I was the dumb dumb who said this was gonna steal the show lol...I havent watched raw in a few weeks, so I didnt know how totally pitiful Carlito and Kennedy were in the ring together...barely even any 3 way action, and I dont really see the point in having Umaga go over, especially in the fashion that he did...It didnt really make him look strong to run in at the last second and steal it, and I figure having him go over two guys would be trying to further enhance his unstoppable monster character but o well....7.5

Rey Rey VS Chavo
well gee...first of all WHAT THE FUCK with the silver...that was about the dumbest thing lol...and second, look at this guy comin back with small arms, a gut, and some lil man titties...geeeeee he wasnt on steroids before he got hurt naaaaaahhh lol....Chavo pretty much carries rey in this, and does well at it, I thought this match was a lot better than most are giving it credit for, some decent flying, and good technical wrestleing from both...7.5

Divas
well u all know my opinion on this one..you know what is worse than two divas wasting time having a shitty match? like 15 divas wasting time having a shitty match thus causing more time wasted, and more overall shittyness...I have a hot girlfriend so who I have sex with regularly, soo this whole diva stuff reeaaallly doesnt do shit for me...and its sad to think that anyone can really glean entertainment from this shit...seriously, I watch wrestling to see wrestleing, not tits and ass, thats what real life females are for gentleman, sooo please lets focus on getting real life girls to look at and touch, instead of staring at divas that u will never touch in your life...seriously, mature past the fuckin 7th grade guys, its really not that cool....

Morrison VS punk
eh whatever..this match AGAIN...and it wasnt very good at all AGAIN...and everyone said it was gonna steal the show AGAIN...and Punk lost AGAIN...and this one had to have the weakest ending of all of them, it looked like ass....boring match all around...although I must say, im buying this whole morrison thing...I honestly think they could have him drop the belt to punk, and go over to smackdown and make an impact...Punk should have the ECW belt, and morrison should be making an impact on smackdown....7.0

Trips VS King bookah
The pop for trips wasnt NEAR what I thought it would be, but good to see Bookah put up a fight, and this wasnt a total squash..Im not sure what everyone is talking about saying Trips was off and this match sucked...maybe my senses were so diluted by the suckiness of everything else that I thought this was good when it really sucked lol...LOVED seeing the harlem hangover...pretty good ending with the attempted pedigree/missed kick/pedigree....7.5

Kahli VS batista
well so much for building his "monster cred" when he pulls a bitch move and gets himself intentionally dqed hahaha...WTF are they doing really...like there is no even attempt to establish anything with him, he isnt a dominant monster anymore he had to fuckin escape by using a chair and gettin dqed...bad...so bad...Batista sucks as usual I friggin loved cole saying "the crowd is getting restless becuase of the beating batista is getting" that was pretty classic haha..gah smackdown is so shit right now, and they have so much underused talent on RAW...please give smackdown shelton benjamin, jeff hardy, kennedy, and Morrison...

Cena VS Orton
well unlike everyone else besides big will, I wasnt suprised at ALL by how this ended...I mean the WWE KNOWS what is being said in the IWC obviously, becuase they played up the "this might be the night" card sooo much that it became contrived after a while...Orton was controlling the match TOO MUCH, and countering Cena at every turn...they were practically screaming at the tv "THIS IS IT!!! ORTON IS GONNA DO IT!!! CENA IS GONNA LOOOOSE!!!"....so OF COURSE Cena is gonna win in the last minute...I knew in about the first 5 minutes of the match that he was gonna win, just judging from the ebb and flow of things....and just like the GAB world title match, I was calling out the spots right before they happened, with surgical accuracy lol....so either this means one of two things..I should book wrestling matches (no)...or john cena has extremely elementery and predictable matches (YES!)...now all this siad, I must say this WAS the match of the night, which on a card like this, is ike saying your the smartest kid in the special ed class...and although the crowd was near non existant for most of the night, it was ON FIRE for this one, which made it more enjoyable...and btw by saying this was a very good match im saying that Orton did a fantastic job of carrying Cena, becuase it was vastly undeniable that Orton COMPLETELY carried this thing, basically whipping John cenas ass the entire time till about the last 5 minutes..woo hoo champ thats awesome buddy...8.0

What Im wondering is why everyone is still trying to act suprised or pissed about this thing...All of you knew in your hearts and souls that cena wasnt going to loose, you just wanted him to so bad, that you talked yourselves into beliving it...im pretty much numb to it now, and it makes it easier to enjoy his matches..I was highly entertained by the match and enjoyed it very much and actually started laughing when he did THE EXACT SAME THING that has been happening for the last two and a half years, becuase I knew how outraged everyone would act when it was pretty obvious to me it was gonna happen lol....what was really funny was how absolutely blaten it was...like it really honestly was let Cenas get his ass whipped for 21 minutes, back and forth for the last 3, pull it out in the last 1...just like EVERY OTHER TIME....and of course, I, like you, absolutely cant stand it...but ive just gotten over being frustrated...when he made HBK tap like a bitch at WRESTLE FUCKING MANIA, something not even Bret hart could do, I just lost hope, and am just gonna wait for him to loose it, not hope for it....

I would say I was dissappointed and pissed I spent 40$ for this, like eveyone else is saying, but thing is, I knew it was gonna be this way, and couldve told you exactly how every match was gonna go...so im not dissappointed...if you dont feel like tasting shit, dont buy a shit sandwhich people lol...

I like how they had Austin involved with Hardy and MVP. I think Austin gives the rub to whoever he comes in contact with. Even Lashley and Umaga. Brilliant segment. They really need to have him as an enforcer when they finally have another singles match.

Was it just me or did the returns of HHH and Rey mean nothing? I didn't get excited like I would for the return of somebody like Edge or Taker. It probably has something to do with the fact I hate HHH and Rey is staying on the same show he's been on for the past 5 years.

Damn! Carlito sucks. And why did Kennedy do the job? I suppose the feud can continue that way. But I tink it would have been better to make Carlito do the job. Considering he's shit and all.

The only title I truly wanted to change hands was the ECW title. Morrison isn't over. And Punk isn't as over for working with him. WWE tried with Morrison. It's now time to get the title off hime.

Uncle Shockey is back, and this time spreading some Shockey love for Summerslam, um, maybe.

Kane vs. Finlay.
It's a beginning match, and an odd choice for an opening match to say the least. Usually this is something like an IC title match or something, but hey, let the big guys wrestle. I didn't think it was horrible, but certainly not great.

Umaga/Kennedy/Carlito:
Umaga looked real good in this match. I think I want Umaga as the next WWE champion. The guy is working really well as of late. Still kinda shocked to see Kennedy do the job in this match.

Mysterio vs. Guerrero.
The Silver Surfer is a Fat Mexican??? Honestly, this return was horrible. Mysterio looks flabby. The match was average at best, and a real let down for a card like Summerslam.

I'm probably missing some matches. I can't remember what I slept through.

Diva Battle Royal:
Skipped It, probably was shit.

MVP Segment. Ah finally, someone worth a damn on pay per view, and his name is MVP. To bad he couldn't steal the night. And yes, We get Steve Austin, probably the best moment of the night. I would probably pay to watch an Austin Promo for three hours before I watch some of the shit the WWE puts on pay per view anymore.

Morrison vs. Punk:
It's sad, I really thought the gimmick change would help Morrison out, but even shit with sparkles is still shit all the same. Punk is too good to be put in mindless feuds with people that aren't over. This match was a big disapointment.

Triple H vs. King Booka.
It's a shame, the most over guy on the roster is probably the biggest joke Gimmick in recent years. Triple H sucks, his return sucked, and his match sucked. Triple H, how about pose a little more for the crowd. Since when did Triple H stand for Hollywood Hulk Hogan???

Batista vs. Khali:
I can handle Khali as WHC, but how many fucking pay per views in a row is Batista going to be involved int he world title? Has there been one pay per view this year that this enormous stiff piece of shit wasn't involved in a title match? Batista sucks, his matches suck, god I hate the fucking WWE. This match was pure shit.

Cena vs. Orton:
Now the big shit fest. Typical match out of these two. Anyone that said this match was great, just doesn't know wrestling. It was the same old shit time and time again. Orton with a headlock, Cena with the five moves of doom. If you bought into Cena losing the title, I don't feel sorry for you. How many months does it have to go on before you realize that belt isn't coming off of him?

Overall: A shitty Summerslam. It's a real shame, because this was the one pay per view I looked forward to year after year, even more so then Wrestlemania. The last two summerslam have been pure garbage.
