Official Summer Slam 2007 Thread

MAINLY OFF THE SUMMERSLAM TOPIC!!!! (except the end)

Now, their problem is that aside from MVP, Matt Hardy, and one or two others in the lower card status, Smackdown is just filled with big guys that can't do much (Khali, Kane, Batista, Mark Henry).

I have to disagree with this, just because wrestling used to be nothing BUT big guys, so to say that the mid-carders & high fliers are what they need more of.. it'd be turning Smackdown into one big cruiserweight division. (which, they had plans of originally from what I heard, when they first split back in '02)

At any rate, they just need the "right" big guy. Khali is ONLY there to replace Big Show, in my opinion. Batista is a good wrestler, & I completely enjoyed his match w/ Taker at Mania -- HOWEVER, the man simply gets too many title shots. Kane needs revamped, yet again, & he needs to train or work harder to fix his errors.. cause he's had a lot. Finally, I enjoy Mark Henry, I just don't.. DON'T enjoy him fighting no-name jobbers all the time. Its no wonder the man is worthless through the eyes of fans, he never gets put into storylines worth anything.

Its a shame with the low # of people on ECW that they don't just combine the two for Smackdown, get rid of the ECW championship and replace it with the Hardcore championship or even something interesting like the Television championship. Smackdown would get a lot more interesting if there was a title that could be lost at any second or if you were guaranteed at least one hardcore match in each ppv, don't you agree? And its not like ECW would be losing anything...).

I do & don't agree. I FULLY agree that they need to END the brand extention, cause its all but ended anyways. They have inter-brand fights on some of their big ppvs. (Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania) Why not just end it all together, not only would it give them the ability to DOMINATE FULLY in the ratings, but it'd restock all of their title divisions.. especially their Tag division, which sucks majorly right now.

Now, regarding ECW in general.. its not ECW, when was the last time they had a show that involved a chair, that WASN'T in a single match - deemed "extreme rules?" The ECW I love, remember & MISS.. is the ECW that had no rules, in every match.. but it was just "a match," no gimmick name. I hate that they don't even defend the ECW Heavyweight Championship under the "extreme rules" gimmick at all times.. its basically a highly glorified "U.S. or Intercontinental Championship."

FINALLY -- I think "Vince's big announcement" on Raw, should be him stripping ALL champions, bringing ALL brands together, & deeming ALL Championships to be decided at Summerslam.. kinda similar to what WCW did at Spring Stampede in 2000.

Smackdown as just a cruiserweight division? Wouldn't enjoy that too much. But they need to change something around. Mark Henry vs jobbers is boring, Khali can't have a decent match for the life of him, and Batista is boring if he's facing people like that. I don't mind him when he's against someone like the Undertaker who can sell shots and stuff - but they milked those fights over and over and over again that I got so tired of it really fast. I really think a total revamp would help them out a lot, but even if they just molded ECW into Smackdown, it'd help. Say Matt Hardy wins the US title at Summerslam...now he can feud with Elijah Burke eventually, for instance. It would bury some people, like Balls Mahoney, but really, who watches ECW just for that guy? Lol. Nunzio would obviously be in contention for Cruiserweight gold...gives them one more guy to work with as a jobber.

I agree about ECW being no fun anymore totally...but I wasn't a huge fan of the old ECW because I couldn't get into the dark atmosphere and Joey Styles and stuff. I like how it feels to me like a WWE product, but I miss the "extreme rules". They rarely have it anymore, and that's why I think it'd be better to have a hardcore title division again. That solves that problem. The way it is now, its insanely boring. They just have the same matches over and over again. While I'm not a fan of "every match needs at least a chair in it" and I get tired of that as well, I can't stand to watch a match between say, Kevin Thorn and Steven Richards again with nothing interesting happening. Two boring guys with boring skills doing boring things. Make up a hardcore division again, bring over the ECW guys, and that way you can have one match a night that has chairs and tables and whatnot. When you do that, you get your "violence fix" and you don't end up having to have 8/10 matches throughout the night end wit some outside interference with a chair for a DQ lol.

I wouldn't mind a stripping of all champions, actually, especially when you look at who we have: Cena (who I think should lose it and not be stripped of it. That way there's no bitching that he never lost to Orton), Umaga, Khali, MVP (no problem with him, actually), Cade/Murdoch, Deuce/Domino, Morrison, and Hornswaggle (for all I care you can even keep him lol). But it would be a nice change not to see two of the titles belong to "monster" characters and the tag team titles are so weak now that its pathetic. I'd kill for even Mosh and Thrasher or the Godwins to come back and be tag champs lol Everyone knows that the ECW title isn't nearly as "prestigious" as the WWE championship or the World Heavyweight championship, so why kid yourselves? I say, the coolest title layout we could have would be:

Raw: WWE Champ (as the "leader of the top card on Raw" guy), Intercontinental Champ (as the "leader of the mid and low card" guy)

Smackdown: World Heavyweight Champ (as the "leader of the top card of Smackdown"), United States Champ ("leader of the mid and low card on Smackdown")

Cross-Brand Titles: Tag Team Champions, Cruiserweight, Hardcore, Women's

That way you have it so there is "best of the best" on Raw and Smackdown as well as "best of the rest" on Raw and Smackdown, and then four titles that are defended in different brands to keep the challenges fresh. Suddenly you can find yourself giving Hardcore Holly, Tommy Dreamer, etc the Hardcore title and someone like CM Punk who I think we can all agree is impressive but isn't "hardcore", could be better suited as United States champ or something.

Wow I ramble too much...I apologize for all those that actually read that whole thing hahaha.

**NOT MAIN TOPIC RELATED**

Wow I ramble too much...I apologize for all those that actually read that whole thing hahaha.

I just wanted to clearify, I did read all of that. But you don't have to apologize, because I find myself rambling too. It just shows your true love for wrestling.

Now then.. I more or less think what you've completely said, summed up, is that they should simply stop the brand extention & bring everyone together. (Granted, you just meant SD & ECW & leave RAW as a whole) But "I" would rather see ALL Brands brought back together.

There are several things that I'd miss if the brands came together.. with the main one being the talented guys being lost in the shuffle, because they aren't completely over with the fans. John Morrison, Kevin Thorn, Shelton Benjamin, Hardcore Holly, & even Carlito would be lost.. with Carlito being the slight exception depending.

I find myself begging for the tag divisions to be brought together, cause I miss Tag Team Turmoil matches that made me actually WONDER who could win. Like the first several when the Hardyz, Dudleyz, APA, & Edge/Christian were all in.. those were filled with greatness thats long since gone.

I don't actually miss the hardcore division, cause they put it to crap toward the end.. when the 24/7 rule was applied, it was terrible. They had more than a handful of great matches, but that was the dumbest excuse for having a hardcore match.. "ohh, he's got a belt we can attempt to get any time, good deal." (RIP - Crash Holly, but it was that gimmick that started the demise of the division)

Summerslam Card
These matches are already official

WWE Chmpionship- John Cena(C) vs. Randy Orton- As we all know Orton will take the title and feud with HHH while Cena shoots his movie, Cena BLOWS

World Heavyweight Championship- The Great Khali(C) vs. Batista- I originally thought Batista would take the title, but now that they say Taker' will be returning at unforgiven, I see Khali retaining until Taker' takes the belt at Unforgiven.

Triple H vs. King Booker- King of Kings Match- I can see this being a special type of match, like having Lawler as the special ref, Triple H will take it and face Orton for the title at Unforgiven.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero- I am surprised Rey has not been on Smackdown yet, but I see him winning this math off interferance from Vicky Guerrero.

Matches I see Happening

United States Championship- MVP vs. Matt Hardy- I see Hardy taking the belt so he can feud with Finlay for the US title, while MVP goes into WHC waters

ECW Championship- John Morrison(C) vs. CM Punk-TLC Match- Again I see the title changing hands with Punk winning it, this caould set up feuds with Burke, CorVon, Stevie Richards or Big Daddy V

Ric Flair vs. Mark Henry- This whole "Nobody will challenge me" angle they are pinning on Henry makes me think that they are setting something up here, Henry wins it.

Tag Team Turmoil- I see them mashing both belts together for this match- Cryme Tyme,Londrick,D&D,Majors,WGTT,Cade&Murdoch,Highlanders,Jesse&Festus. I actully see Cryme Time taking the belts and feuding with D&D.

Intercontinental Championship- Umaga(C) vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. Carlito- With Umaga's face change this match is possible, if this happens I can see Carlito taking the belt and feuding with Kennedy

SummerSlam 07 Card:

Official:

WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs. Randy Orton - Well hopefully Orton can carry Cena to a decent match, we'll see the RKO and the 1-2-3. Orton will fued with Cena until Unforgiven Cena loses takes time off for his stupid little movie, Trips vs Orton for the title. The countdown is on.

Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero - I don't see them giving the lose to Rey in his return match. So I see Rey winning fueding till he gets a title shot again.

World Heavyweight Championship - Khali (c) vs Batista - I dunno who's going to win ... all I know is I want both of them dead.
--------
My predictions

US Title - MVP (c) vs Matt Hardy - Ladder Match - Ladder match because I wanna see how well MVP can handle himself in this kind of match. I see Matt winning have these to fued until MVP eventualy moves up into the WHC level.

Triple H vs King Booker - I don't think this will be made until Trips comes to the ring and addresses the fans, then Booker comes out and challenges HHH to a match for the "King" title, Triple H wins and we see Booker T back.

Mark Henry vs Random Superstar - A crush match, I see Mighty Biggs coming on the following SmackDown and attacking Henry while he's bragging about his win.

ECW Title - John Morrison (c) vs. CM Punk - Extreme Rules - I don't think it'll be extreme rules but I wanna see it. It'll probaly have some stipulation and Punk will finally win.

Tag Team Championship - Rednecks (c) vs. D&D (c) - With the winners becoming the undisputed champions, I dunno who will win but I'd like the see the titles defended tri-brand.

IC Title - Umaga (c) vs. Ken Kennedy - It may have been the reason for Umaga's face turn on Monday, Kennedy loses and takes the title at Unforgiven.

--My dream match--
Hornswoggle vs. Jack Ass's Weeman - LOL

If kennedy is indeed getting the rub from Vince himself with the death angle, than I can see him in the WWE Championship picture rather than the IC picture. Even with so many main eventers and he gets pushed to the side by a power hungry HHH, he should be able to be in a top notch feud with somebody given that he was the one that "storyline" injured Lashley, so he's gaining momentum. In my opionion I hope he goes against Carlito for a #1 contenders match at Summerslam.
BTW..do you guys think that Undertaker's return at Unforgiven is legit? If yes than i'm starting to think of ordering Unforgiven instead of Summerslam.

true, but with no Taker, HBK, Edge, Jeff Hardy, Lashley, Santino (NOT), Jackass, Benoit, or even Marcus Cor Von, It has to be a hell of a card to make me wanna see it.
Which brings me to my predictions and match rants...
Official matches

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Randy Orton
- I like both guys even though Orton's a trouble maker and Cena's been on top for too long, this should be a good match with a good story considering the build u for it. I think Cena will retain much to everyone's displeasure because of Orton not deserving of it and HHH pulling strings to who he wants to win and beat for the title probably at Survivor Series. Rating: thumbs up.

World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali vs. Batista
-Though i dont HATE Batista, he's no HBK and can't pull out a good match with Khali. I've heard the reviews at house shows which are said to be horrible wasting of 5 minutes, so how does WWE think they can put on a good match at the argueably 2nd biggest ppv of the year? Batista's had too many shots at the title and Kane deserves the title of "champion" more than either of those two. I would have much rathered a Kane\ Finlay \ Batista match then this load of shit. Hell, WWE wouldn't even let THE UNDERTAKER wrestle him in a gimmick match last year at Summerslam that turned out half decent(because of Taker kicking Khali's 7'3 ass). Rating: thumbs down

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero
- Literally a rematch from last year's Summerslam, but a good one at that. We've already seen this match in 3 different variations, but at least the everyone will be pumped up for Rey's return to get some payback against Chavo. Somehow I think Vickie will once again get involved but I'm not sure how. Should be a good cruiserweight match. Rating: Thumbs up

........................................................................................................
Unofficial (rumors + predictions)

Triple H vs. King Booker
-H's return match and a match I'm guessing to decide who the TRUE King of "sports entertainment" is. Guessing the loser of the match can no longer call themself a king, which is great because we all know HHH won't lose his return match and we can get to see the old Booker T back baby! Should be a good contest between the two resembling their Wrestlemania 19 match years ago which HHH dominated basically. Nevertheless I like them both so i say good match. Rating: Thumbs up

Ladder Match: U.S. Champion MVP vs. Matt Hardy
-This match just seems to be the most popular choice of what kind of U.S. Championship match will be at Summerslam and I'm with that majority. I'm excited to see how MVP adapts to these types of matches as I'm sure Hardy will carry him through the big spots, but who knows. Maybe he'll end up like another Johnny Ni..John Morrison, and end up being innovative in it. This match can go either way but I hope Hardy finally does win some singles gold in WWE after dominating the tag division. Rating: Thumbs up

Intercontinental Champion Umaga vs. Kennedy vs.\or Carlito -Kennedy and Carlito need something to do since Lashley and Hardy are gone so why not stick them with the now prsumably face, Umaga? Wouldn't be the best IC match at Summerslam, but at least it'll keep me wondering who will win. Rating: Thumbs middle

Kennedy vs. Carlito-Good backround story for the match with both of them thinking that they should be the #1 contender. Heel vs. Heel would add interest to it. Would of course replace the IC match that they could be in. Rating: Thumbs Middle

Four Corners Tag Team Match
World Tag Team Champions Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Cryme Tyme vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team
-Meh. Why not? Good match and sorry, WWE won't combine their tag titles togethor at Summerslam. Rating Thumbs up

"Extreme Rules" ECW Champion John Morrison vs. C.M. Punk-This is dfinately going to happen as it's been built up for months and needs to have a gimmick to keep it going and provide a different kind of match. Rating: Thumbs up

Analaysis: A good ppv if I'm right about most of those matches, even without so many top superstars gone. Khali and Batista is the only real stinker. Now I'm not sure about what ppv i should order... Summerslam or Unforgiven. Both almost always deliver every year but i dont want to waste my money on SS if Unforgiven has a kick ass card. Ill wait till the weekend of SS to decide, but i just wanted your guys feedback on this. Hope you liked the predictions :)

It seems like its very obvious where the WWE is going now a days. I feel very confident on my predictions although it being the 2nd biggest PPV of the year, there WILL be some unpredictable stuff happen. Heres how I have it.

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Randy Orton
-The WWE nows that the WWE title has to change hands soon for the sake of keeping it interesting. What better time to do it than SUmmerslam. I just dont know why they chose Orton. He has been in the background for the last 4 months and has a title shot out of no where. I see Orton winning but something corky happening before the show ends.

World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali vs. Batista

-I think its pretty obvious that Khali is just being used to carry the title until they can put it on someone worthy. Sadly, it's going to be Batista.....again....who has a good guy gimmick that is quickly going stale. I see Batista winning and if they wanted to really mix it up, start a heel turn.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero
- I am not looking forward to this match. 2 guys emotionally crushed by their best friends death, 1 whos probably being pushed too come back from injury too early, not a title match(not a Hornswaggle caliber match). I'm not blaming Rey or Chavo, just not looking forward to seeing it even if it is Reys "Return". I see Rey winning, hopefully keep the Chavo fued dropped, winning the cruiserweight soon, and going for another title shot.

.................................................. .................................................. ....
Unofficial (rumors + predictions)

Triple H vs. King Booker
-Whatever gimmick Triple H uses, we know this match was put here for 2 reasons. 1. Get Triple H back on the map 2. To get rid of King Bookers horrendous gimmick and have the return of Booker T. I hope Triple H is ready and he is not being pushed too soon, but we'll see. But I see Triple H obviously winning due to all the hype.

Ladder Match: U.S. Champion MVP vs. Matt Hardy
-This is the match im most uncertain about. MVP's title reign is a little stale and could use a quick title switch, but I don't know if the WWE would allow Hardy to be the man. After all, seems like the Hardys arnt the most popular in the WWE at the time. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that WWE is going to use this PPV as a facelift and grab as much change as they can get. Im going with Matt Hardy winning and holding the title for a short time.

Intercontinental Champion Umaga vs. Kennedy vs.\or Carlito
- The WWE is not stupid. They have a GEM in Kennedy and NOW is the time they need him to shine. I think that Kennedy get the spot in the match and get brutalized by Umaga in the IC match but come back at the end to win. The WWE needs Kennedy to hold a title.

Four Corners Tag Team Match
World Tag Team Champions Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Cryme Tyme vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team

- If this happens, I see the team of London and Kendrick taking the title. Cade and Murdoch just dont cut it was title holders and London and Kendrick are one of the most exciting tag teams in the WWE in a while. Again, im not so sure about this match either, but I guess I'll stick with London and Kendrick.

"Extreme Rules" ECW Champion John Morrison vs. C.M. Punk
- This should be the last match of this rivalry and its got the potential to be a great match. I like the Morrison gimmick but I think that Punk is so over with fans that he will come out victorious. Thus starting the long and possibly Cena like Punk era.

I know i went out on a limb predicting all the titles switching hands, but I think the WWE really wants this PPV to shale everything up and let it land where it lands. Im also kinda interested in the new Mcmahon - Illegitimate child angle, I just hope they can pull this one off cause for about a year, the angle have sucked ass. Overall an interesting show, Ill definatley be watching.

If the Undertaker is really returning in the next ppv after Summerslam, they'll probably have Khali retain the belt and then feud with Taker. Taker will...take...ahem....the belt away and get his well deserved and previously planned "long title reign".

Amazingly it seems as if they might be able to put on a good Pay-Per-View for once. Then again, I said that about WrestleMania, and LockDown even beat that. I'm just looking forward to three things:

John Cena vs. Randy Orton
I'll be crushed if Orton loses now everyone's got my hopes up. Obviously, there's the added bonus of Orton becoming champion, although I doubt the match will be particularly special. The RKO era begins at SummerSlam. Again. Remember, it'll be three years after he beat Benoit to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

CM Punk vs. John Morrison
Strangely enough, I don't think many people give Morrison his due. I'd say he's easily Punk's in-ring equal, although that may just be because I never saw why Punk was so goddamn special. He's above average, but he's not particularly unique. I think this'll be quite an impressive match nonetheless, it may even restore some sense of prestige to the ECW Title. No, actually, no match can be that good.

Triple H Returns
I'm not as hyped up as most people, simply because Triple H has grown quite old on me. I've seen him return several times before, and it's not exciting for much longer than the first couple of weeks. I doubt the WWE'll invest much in him anyway. He'll probably do something with King Booker, which I couldn't really care less about.

I hope Batista wins against Khali so that he and Undertaker can continue their feud in a Hell in a Cell match at Unforgiven, rather than see the much more boring Great Khali face him in another horrible match. Besides we've already seen Taker beat the snot out of Khali in a gimmick match, so I do not want to see that again. What will probably happen is that Khali and Batista have a rematch at Unforgiven in a gimmick match or Kane\ Batista have a gimmick match(meaning Batista wins) and the Undertaker will make an appearance at the end signifying he wants his title back much like last years Royal Rumble. Either way i couldnt care about Khali any less than now. He's the single reason i don't watch Smackdown anymore and i give wrestling so many chances...oh well

BTW Funkidelicbill, you basically said my entire list of predictions over again lol

Ok so here are my predictions for Summerslam, well the card so far..
Randy Orton vs John Cena WWE Title match
as much as I hate to say it I think Cena will win the match. I hope I'm wrong on this, and would love to see an RKO era begin, but the way WWE puts Cena over as invincible, I just can't see RKO walking out of Summerslam the champ, I can see the feud continuing afterwards though
The Great Khali vs Batista World Heavyweight Championship
I'm going to say that Khali will most likley retain at Summerslam, but like the situation I mentioned with Cena and RKO I can see the feud going past Summerslam. Reason I feel this way is that WWE seems to enjoy having Batista chase for the title, I can see him winning it in the future, but just not at Summerslam.
John Morrison vs CM Punk ECW Title
I can finally say I think Punk will get his first ECW title. He's been the number one contender for far too long now, and I think if WWE want's to continue his feud with Morrison he will win. Otherwise how many times would Morrison have to beat Punk to prove he's better???
Rey Mysterio vs Chavo
I really don't care for this match at all. I'm positive that Rey will win, and soon after the program with Chavo is finished I can see him going for the WHC.
HHH return
I originally was excited for this, I still am, but from what things seem is that HHH will have his returning feud with King Booker... Not the best choice IMO

If the Undertaker is really returning in the next ppv after Summerslam, they'll probably have Khali retain the belt and then feud with Taker. Taker will...take...ahem....the belt away and get his well deserved and previously planned "long title reign".

I'm sure he'll take care of Mark Henry first. There's no way he'll return and not fued with him. They'll likely have a match at No Mercy and/or Cyber Sunday. Then he'll probably win the title back at Survivor Series.

Yeah. If he's going to be back BEFORE Unforgiven, he'll take care of Mark Henry on Smackdown or Summerslam, but if Unforgiven is his first match back, that'll be Henry, and then whatever is after that will be Taker getting the title back. I just don't know what they could do to fill in the time frame between now and him getting it back, because if they seriously do another Khali/Batista match after Summerslam, they deserve the low ratings they've been getting. Hell I'd rather have Hornswaggle beat Khali and be WHC than Khali lol At least Hornswaggle can do a Senton and run.

Some of the predictions here are interesting but watching the shows recently here is what seems most likely for the rumoured matches.

IC Title-Carlito vs. Umanga-Kennedy has basically not been involved in this feud it is Carlito/Orton vs. Umanga/Cena not Kennedy. Kennedy is probably headed toward the WWE title picture and with the recent rumours maybe even something else storyline wise.

U.S. Title-Hardy vs. MVP-they are feuding only thing left is for match to be announced.

Cruiseweight title-Hornswoggle vs. Jamie Noble-I hate to admit this but Hornswoggle having the title has actually brought about a real cruiserweight title feud if WWE doesn't blow this and let's Noble destroy Hornswoggle then Noble could come out of this as a strong heel and feud wit Mysterio, Wang Yang or even a new debuting cruiserweight.

There is one more match sure to be added but that is in the smackdown spoilers so I will leave it alone.

What if the unthinkable happens-

Cena vs Orton- Orton has been unstoppable lately taking out everyone. It looks like Cena doesn't stand a chance, but what if the WWE throws a curveball and Cena doesn't back down from Orton and overcomes the odds to retain the title, that would be nuts.

Khali vs Batista- What if Batista gets his belt back and dominates everyone, that would be nuts.

The rest of the matches don't matter because they don't have Cena or Batista but anyway...

Morrison vs. Punk- Getting serious now, this will probably be one of the top matches of the night along with Rey and Chavo. Punk will probably win but I would personally love to see Morrison retain and Marcus Cor Von turn face when he comes back. ECW has the best main events.

Rey vs Chavo- Rey to take the win obviously. Should be a solid match.

Confirmed Matches

WWE Championship- John Cena vs. Randy Orton- Orton will take the win and feud wit HHH

World Heavyweight Championship- Khali vs. Batista- Khali wins it and holds it until Taker returns

Triple H vs. King Booker- King of Kings Match- HHH will take the win on his way to getting the WWE Championship

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Gurrerero- I am actully really looking forward to this match, Rey will take the win and challenge for the WHC until Taker returns

ECW Champ- John Morrison vs. CM Punk- Punk will win the title and feud wih CorVon or Burke

Predictions

Intercontinental Championship- Umaga vs. Carlito- I see Umaga retaining the belt and feuding with Kennedy

Mr. Kennedy vs. Shane McMahon- With this whole angle of Kennedy being the illigitimate child I see a face turn for Shane, who will win the match

US Title- MVP vs. Matt Hardy- Duno if this will take place with MVP's condition, but I see Hardy taking the Belt anyway

Ric Flair vs. Mark Henry- Just have a feeling

Hmm.. this ppv.. i dont really know what to expect... all that i'm sure of is that Orton will prolly win the belt.. that's a good thing.. but i do'nt think he should be given the belt, considering that he doesn't even deserve it, but better him than Cena i say. All in all, this match was considered a "Dream Match" but now not n/emore.. i mean after all the times they fought on Raw.. seemed pretty shitty.. but i think it'll be a good match b/c it is the main event and most ppl thought that Cena/Lashley would be a shitty match i mean stuff happened that we never expected to happen but i hope that this match will be good with a good ending..

Now, about the Batista and Khali match.. all i can say about that is ....
IF BATISTA WINS, WE RIOT!

What is the one thing, both Batista & John Cena love on other males, more than anything else? That would be.. nuts.. hahahaha Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Regarding SummerSlam, I've said it once & I'll say it again. People are posting that Triple H. is confirmed to wrestle Booker T/King Booker at SS. This has NOT (yet) been confirmed. All thats been confirmed, is that Triple H. will return at SummerSlam.

who thinks it would be awesome if HHH came back and they put him in the main event at summerslam? or maybe HHH is the special ref and turns heel to help orton win the title. anything to get the belt of cena. anything.

id also like to see mvp vs hardy in a ladder match for the title. it probably cant happen now cuz mvp has that heart condition but it would be a great match.

i say the 2 best matches of the night will be rey vs chavo and imo the best rivalry in the wwe right now that should be getting hyped more than it is, john morrisson and cm punk: the future of the wwe. these 2 guys are awesome and they put on show stealing matches everytime they get in the ring together. i hope morrisson retains but realistically how many times are they gunna let him beat cm punk.

Its been said on RAW tonight and its been reported for a few weeks now and lets hope Orton wins cause many Cena Haters would be proud of a new crowned champion and HHH has indeed asked for that to happen

Okay, for the record I said it wasn't confirmed. (yet) And it JUST became confirmed tonight, I think because WWE was seriously wondering if they could screw a lot of people out of buying the ppv without actually mentioning Triple H. wrestling.. then screw them, by having him simply destroy King Booker in a promo/interruption.. setting up an Unforgiven match, forcing people to wait another month & buy another ppv.

I don't care one way or another, because I buy all the wrestling ppv's anyways. But I'm happy the finally confirmed, cause I hate assumptions on those sorts of things. I still question if it'll be a full-length match, or Triple H. returning to dominate King Booker (thus ending in a DQ, quickly with a sledge-hammer) for a mere 5-10 minutes.

I'm not excited about this year's Summerslam. Having to pay to see HHH make a return just to school Bookah is kinda sad. We all know who is gonna win that match. It isnt a spoiler, its money in the bank. With Mysterio, I'm not so sure. But the last two Mysterio vs. Chavo matches were boring, so I cant expect much from this rematch. I am looking forward to the pop that both Mysterio and HHH will get when they make their way to the ring.... it's gonna be LOUD.... if Batista wins against Khali, he should be arrested for abusing the disabled. If Khali wins against Batista, then Eugene should be the #1 contender.... Cena vs. Orton? Both of these guys have a good amount of heal heat but I really think Orton is gonna get a positive reaction from the crowd if he beats Cena... it all depends on how many 12 year olds are in attendance....CM vs. Morrison should be a better match than at the last PPV... this PPV appears to be promising, but I have a gut feeling that it's gonna be disappointing. the WWE writing team has been really good at ruining PPVs....

The match I'm looking forward to the most is the ECW Title match for sure. That one should definitely be either the best or second best match of the night (depending on the quality of the Cena vs Orton match). I would really like to see Orton win, but if he does and HHH goes for the title at Unforgiven, then what kind of credibility has Orton built up? I hate to say it, but I think Triple H should sit out one more title match. Maybe they could give him a number one contenders match at the PPV?

Summerslam 07

WWE Championship- John Cena vs. Randy Orton- The RKO era is coming, and expect a clean win on this one.

World Heavyweight Championship- Khali vs. Batista- Boring in all the extent. Khali will win, with the claw....THE CLAW!!!!

Triple H vs. King Booker- King of Kings Match- Triple H should be taking the win here. But again, if he is going to feud Booker for a while, it could be a surprise.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Gurrerero- Rey is giong to sweep Chavo, maybe a last minute save by Vickie Guerrero??

ECW Champ- John Morrison vs. CM Punk- I have the feeling that Morrison will win cheating, I dont know why. Maybe CM punk could be transfered to SD??

*******END OF THE CARD, for now..........

So, what else are we missing for Sumerslam? 2 or 3 more matches I guess...

So, my final matches Predictions before the final card, who needs to be set before Tuesday night.

Intercontinental Championship- Umaga vs. Carlito vs Mr. Kennedy: Hopefully, we can see Mr Kennedy on the card, and why not, taking that damn belt off of "Umanga" lol!

US Title- MVP vs. Matt Hardy- This feud needs to be ended here, so I guess Hardy finally takes the belt, and MVP could step up in the Smackdown stair.

World tag belts- Rednecks C&M vs Cryme Time- This one will be Cryme time ultimate test, they will lose, but if they can "deliver" a good match, expect to see those Belts on the Cryme Time Shopping Network soon... :D

No Diva-wrestling action, but I dont mind to see a Bikini Open!!! :lol2:
