Personaly... your Scenarios are bull crap. Jeff Hardy VS Umaga will probably end up being a last chance, Ladder match for the ic belt (Hardy is never going to beat Umaga).

Melina and Candice... that sounds right, but itwould have to be a special match... like a special refferee match with Lawler as the ref... something like that. (lol)

And as for King Booker VS HHH... thats shit. It would have to be a triple threat, Lawler VS HHH VS King Booker, but with the King Harley Race as a referee... (if he isn't dead,lol)

There's been loads of talk about Jericho coming back to the WWE for Summerslam.

I was watching Larry King Live, coverage on the death of Benoit... and Larry asked Jericho: "Now, I hear that you and WWE have negotiated you returning to the WWE. Is this true?"

Jericho: "Well Larry, I'm glad you brought it up because I've been trying to get back into the WWE for a whileknow and it just so happens that Cena (who was sitting beside him) and I may feud, because I had been fired do to losing against him. There are no final plans about my return, but I may be returning in late 2007, or earlytomid, 2008"

I think that this years summerslam will be huge, i am also thrilled that the Jackass storyline got the boot ( I want to see real action.) I also think that the returns of Rey Mysterio and HHH will put it Over the top.

1) HHH vs Booker (Loser loses title of KING)
2)MVP vs Matt Hardy vs Ric Flair ( US Championship)
3) Jeff Hardy vs Umaga ( Intercontinentel Champ)
Both Hardy's will win and start an interpromo program on who is the best

5) Batista vs Mark Henry ( Steel Cage Match: Batista gets his revenge)
6) Lashley vs Kennedy ( Just because they can't be held out of summerslam)

I know some of this probaly won't happen but heres a good card
1.John Cena vs. Randy Orton:WWE Title
We already know this is gonna happen and it should be a good match.
2.Morrison/Thorn/Punk/Dreamer:ECW-style four-way dance for ECW Title:Extreme Rules
Probaly a long shot but it would be a nice idea and a great match-up between four great athletes.
3.Triple H vs. King Booker:HIAC for King Title:Special Ref:Jerry Lawler
Well,This is a reason to just go and buy the card outright.And with what is going on lately it would be sensible.
4.Jeff Hardy/Umaga/Val Venis for intercontinental title
Its a possible great match-up and Venis needs a good push.
5.Batista/Khali/Henry/Kane for the World Title
It will probaly end up with a Khali/Batista match but i like the one above,though.
6.Matt Hardy/MVP/Ric Flair/Rey Misterio Jr.:U.S Title
Another great four way match-up for the card.
7.Lashley vs. Carlito
For all those who say Carlito isn't on Lashley's level,it's the other way around.
8.Shane Mcmahon/Mick Foley/Cody Rhodes:Hardcore Match
Shane comes onto RAW and attacks Cody and then Mick attacks Shane.A great three-way fued,plus a good fued for Cody to help his career because jobbing to Orton doesn't do it.
9.Jesse+Festus/Major Bros./D&D:Tag Title Tornado Match
I guess it would be okay.
That's a good card and would be a big buy on ppv.

For the WWE title match I see Orton winning the title to turn around and get hit with a pedigree, starting the whole RKO vs. HHH feud. I see the Hardy's winning mid-card gold. I think Rey will be Chavo to get some revenge. As much as I hate Batista, I hate Khali more so I hope (I can't beleive I'm going to say this) Batista wins the world title. Now for the ECW world title i think Morrison will screw Punk out of the title (pull tights, hold on to ropes....). I don't think Punk is ready yet, he should win the rumble and win the ECW title at WM 24.

My card (broken down by brand, but in no particular order)

ECW

Punk vs. Morrison - ECW Title - Cage Match - Back and forth match with Morrison getting the better of the action. Goes for a huge spot off the cage, but Punk catches him and muscles him up for a GTS for the win.

10 Man Over the Top Extreme Battle Royal - For the #1 Contender Spot - Striker, Big Daddy V, Miz, Tommy Dreamer, Stevie Richards, Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorne, Marcus Cor Von, Nunzio, Balls... It doesn't make sense for there to only be one ECW match at such a big PPV, but there are no other feuds really developing. If Morrison retains, it will set up a next contender for the belt to end the feud with Punk. If that happens, my guess is either Stevie Richards or Kevin Thorne (Thorne is more of a tweener than a heel now anyway). If Punk wins the belt....the final four are V, Dreamer, Burke, and Cor Von. They team up to eliminate V and then the New Breed goes after Tommy..They disagree over something, which gives Tommy an opening..he almost elminates Burke, and Cor Von comes and eliminates both at the same time..Burke is furious at Cor Von..Punk comes down to stare down his new number one contender..and then is attacked from behind by Morrison and double teamed by Cor Von. Burke jumps in and you get an extreme cluster fuck in the middle of the ring and at the upper card of ECW.

Smackdown

Rey vs. Chavo - can't really think of another reason for Chavo to drop the CW belt except to free himself up for this feud. I don't think the match will be anything groundbreaking and the feud will continue for another PPV at least. Since HHH will win his return, Chavo winning this match balances that out.

MVP vs Matt Hardy - Ladder Match for the US Title - Could be the match of the night between the solid wrestling and the spots these two could pull off the ladder. This match needs at least 20 minutes (which could easily be taken from the crap-tacular WHC title match). I see MVP retaining. Apologies to everyone who thinks that Summerslam will mark the beginning of the Year of the Hardy, but Matt's gimmick of "stay over but never win the big one" is gonna come into play here, plus I think a win for MVP helps him a lot more than a loss hurts Matt.

Some combo of Kane, Mark Henry, Batista and Khali for the WHC....I want to see whatever match happens here like I want to see another Red Sox World Series win..the ONLY way this becomes at all interesting is if Mighty Biggs or whatever his name is runs in as a debut...otherwise, i seriously don't care.

Raw

Carlito vs Lashley - Lashley dominates but Carlito picks up the win via roll-up and tights/ropes. Afterwards, Lashley clears the ring, but Carlito gets to talk about it until the rematch (see Kennedy/'Taker feud for the boilerplate)

Umaga vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Kennedy - IC Title - Kennedy tastes gold after Jeff Swanton's Umaga and is taken out from behind by Kennedy. Really really looking forward to an IC feud between Jeff and Kennedy as I think it will actually help make the belt mean something again.

Candice vs. Beth Phoenix - Women's belt - Beth wins, feuds with Mickie James over the belt and we get the best women's action since Trish and Lita retired

Cena vs Orton - WWE Championship - Honestly, I don't know...all the reports say Orton..but then who is Snitsky being built up to feud with, if not Cena? Since Orton winning is just a way of giving the belt to HHH, I'm gonna pick Cena here to give Cena/Orton feud some legs...but if Orton wins, then I'm guessing that Cena's first feud is against Mighty Biggs and his rapper friend...on the plus side, Cena might revert to his own rapper gimmick roots and become a little fresher (as a gimmick)

Booker vs. HHH – True King of Raw – HHH will have a cool entrance. Lots of people will shout really loud. Booker, that wily vet, will work on HHH surgically repaired hamstring(s). HHH will win. Oh boy.


So looking back my card has 10 matches on it, which is obviously too many. Maybe the ECW Battle Royal would be better placed on the next ECW show, but it seems stupid to me to have only 1 match on the PPV from that brand, although the ending I described would work better on TV. If I had to pick one other match to get rid of, it would be Lindsay/Carlito, but since Bobby is WWE Golden Boy part 3, I don’t see it getting taken off…So maybe there will be 9 matches, and that means that undercard ones like the ECW title and US title that need a good amount of time will be cut short.

I don't think they're setting up this many 3+ matches like I keep seeing on the card predictions here. It seems like they're trying to go for Batista vs Khali and not involving anyone else, just like Umaga/Jeff with nobody else and such. If they do in fact do that, they'll most likely have Batista win the belt so he can feud with Khali, Mark Henry, (possibly) Kane, and whomever else. Jeff winning the IC belt makes perfect sense because he has a lot of people to feud with (Kennedy, Umaga, Carlito, Snitsky, Regal, etc).

I'm liking the idea of the battle royal to figure out who is the #1 contender for Punk after he beats Morrison. I totally agree about the final four being Cor Von, Burke, Dreamer, and someone else. That match will probably happen on TV though, like you said. That show needs big events like that cause its repeating itself way too often.

From what i see the Khali vs Batista matchup that will be announced soon looks like the end of Khali's regin. There no way you can have Khali as there way too many heels that Batista can feud with from Finley, Henry and still continue a feud with Khali. Should be gimmick match as with no gimmick that be one horrible match to watch. But we should all expect a Batista win at Summerslam

Also from the looks of SD! they seem to be going along with Hardy getting another shot at MVP. Not sure how they will set this up but Hardy's game is ladders and it could possibly be a ladders match for the belt. Should be another good match from these two if it happens. I could see them letting Hardy have a run with the belt after SS and possibly having MVP being fed to Boretista after his Title win, like you said the way it looks Khalis reign is over, that match will be a classic.......snoozer. Not really sure if they would add a gimmick to the match but it would make it seem alot better than just a singles as both of them are terrible in the ring. I have a feeling SS won't be too bad but we'll see.

A MVP vs Hardy ladder match IMO would be something to see. It could really steal the show as we know that the Hardys do well in ladder matches and even if MVP does lose the match it will only help him and increase what he can do in the ring. Though I doubt MVP will be feed so soon to Batista. I see him and Hardy feuding over the US belt till No Mercy...But should be interesting as Summerslam is know for ladder matches and this could be a show stealer. As it seems nowadays what ever match MVP is in he looks good in itl

Summerslam is to the mid tier titles like Wrestlemania is to the world titles, the mid-tier titles are given their night to shine at Summerslam.

There have been some damn fine IC title and US title matches at summerslam. Whereas the World title matches usually are a bore. This is perfect for a Hardy vs. MVP ladder match. If they put MVP in this type of gimmick match, which would be awesome and is pure speculation, then it shows that the WWE is strongly confident in MVP and good things are coming.

Everyone is wrong about Khali, Khali can never lose damn you all. Batista is simply another bump in the road to Wrestlemania's main event of Hornswoggle vs. Khali, title vs. title.

Cena vs. Orton. I'm going into this match pissed off with the Triple H factor heavily influencing the outcome. I'm saying it now, I'm rooting for Cena to retain. Orton is undeserving of being a world champion, and shouldn't be near gold for a long time.

Matt Hardy vs. MVP in a Ladder match would be fucking awsome, I would actully like to see that match, and WWE like doing Ladder matches at SummerSlam so it is likely

for the IC title I think Umaga vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Kennedy is a good possibility

It also looks like we will see a Noble vs. Hornswoggle match for the CW title, imo this could be the MOTN

as for the World titles, well Khali vs. Batista is going to be a pass, just because it's another boring ass Batista match, I would rather have seen Kane vs. Khali, just seems more interesting IMO, and John Cena vs. Orton, this could be a good match, especially if Orton takes the title, but I Could seem him losing quickly afterwards, much like the last time he won the belt, Orton will hold it till Unforgiven then drop it to Triple H

I have no idea what to expect for the rest of the card but I think we could see some pretty decent matches, Summer Slam is usually one of the better PPVs

WWE Title – John Cena v Randy Orton
Should be a very good main event. Randy Orton has been solid in the ring and has been awesome as the legend killer in recent months. Cena always delivers on the big stage and you just know the crowd are gonna be mega into this one.

No DQ World Title Match – Great Khali v Batista
No one else really for Khali to feud with apart from Batista. I say make it a no DQ match due to the weaknesses and limitations of both wrestlers and this should be a decent, under 10 minute bout. Batista takes the gold here.

2 out of 3 falls ECW World Title Match – John Morrison v C.M Punk
Like the above match, noone for Morrison to defend the title against other than C.M Punk. Previous matches between the two have been a mild disappointment but hopefully they will bring there A game and can at least have a good match. I want C.M Punk to win the strap in this one.

Ladder Match for the U.S Title – MVP v Matt Hardy
These two had a fine wrestling match at the Great American Bash. Throw a ladder into the mix, give them 20 plus minutes and I see no reason why this match won’t steal the show. MVP has been a solid champion but I think Matt Hardy deserves a singles run as champ.

Intercontinental Title Match – Umaga v Jeff hardy
Suprisingly awesome match at the Bash between these two last month, this match should be even better. Jeff Hardy has in my eyes, been the success story of the WWE this past year and he’s so popular with the fans right now, I feel he should pull off the surprise victory here.

Triple H v King Booker
Not overly thrilled about this one I have to admit. I feel Triple H should have a better opponent than Booker for his big return match. The build up should be fun though and the crowd are gonna be electric for Triple H, so it should be an entertaining bout.

Lashley v Mr. Kennedy
Due to Raw last Monday, people are speculating it’s going to be Carlito v Lashley. However, while a great push for Carlito, I think it would be a major comedown for Lashley after going toe to toe with Cena last month at the Bash. Lashley needs a high profile opponent at Summerslam and Kennedy fits the bill perfectly.

Rey Mysterio v Chavo Guerrero
Seems inevitable that this match is going to happen. Chavo took out Rey out late last year, so Rey will be coming back looking for revenge. Judging by previous matches between these two, this should be an exciting, high flying contest.

ECW Championship- Morrison vs. Punk vs. Dreamer vs. Burke- I am thinking that this will be some type of hardcore match to bring more life to ECW. Punk will take the belt

Triple H vs. King Booker- I am really thinking that this could be a match where they have Jerry Lawler as the special guest referee with HHH winning his comeback

Chavo vs. Rey Mysterio- This will of course be a revenge match after Chavo hurt Rey. Rey wins his comeback

Lashley vs. Carlito- This will be a crappy match but Lashley will win

Cade and Murdoch vs. London and Kendrick vs. Deuce and Domino vs. WGTT vs. Major Brothers vs. Jesse and Festus- Winners get both Tag Belts- London and Kendrick will take it

With these rumors about Hornswaggle's title reign being the end of the Cruiserweight belt, and that it might return with a new name, what do you think is going on with that in regards to Summerslam?

As for the Tag Team titles, I really hope chickenfinger is right. Two tag titles are useless now with this low # of tag teams. They might as well unify it under one team and have them cross-defend. It worked with the Hardys, it can work with another tag team.

If I had to pick a card that I'd like to see, but I highly doubt I would see it, it would probably be:

Cena vs Orton (win to Orton)
Elimination Chamber: Khali vs Batista vs Kane vs Mark Henry vs Rey Mysterio (win to Mysterio, starts to feud with MVP eventually)
MVP vs Matt Hardy (win to Hardy, since MVP has nobody to go against)
Ladder Match: Umaga vs Jeff Hardy (win to Hardy for the belt)
HHH vs King Booker w/ special guest ref Lawler (win to HHH)
Morrison vs CM Punk (win to Punk)
Lashley vs Kennedy vs Carlito (give the win to Kennedy and start a feud with Jeff Hardy for the IC belt)
Tag Team title unification match (with every tag team out there right now, win to either Kendrick/London or Cryme Time just cause I'm bored with the tag teams out there now)


But I don't see things working out that way. Most likely, Batista will beat Khali in a singles match for the title so he can feud with either Kane or Mark Henry for some more boring matches, and most likely the last two aren't even in their consideration. Oh well. We'll see. Oh yeah and as far as the women's division, well, keep them out of the ppv altogether lol.

With the recent developments of Jeff Hardy's screw up and Bobby Lashley's Torn Rotator Cuff, Here's how I now see summerslam working out

WWE Champ- Cena vs. Orton (Orton takes the belt)

World Heavyweight Champ- Batista vs. Khali ( I now think that Batista will take the belt, and feud with Mark Henry, Finlay, or continue with Khali)

US Championship-Ladder Match- MVP vs. Matt Hardy ( Hardy will take the Belt so that MVP can make the jump to WHC contention)

Intercontinental Champ- Six man Battle Royel- Umaga vs. Kennedy vs. Carlito vs. Santino Marella vs. Sandman vs. Cody Rhodes ( This is just thrown together, I have no clue what they will do about Hardy, but in this cenerio I see Kennedy taking the belt to feud with either Sandman or Cody)

Triple H vs. King Booker- Lawler as Guest Ref- ( HHH will beat the hell out of Booker and start a feud with Orton for the belt)

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo ( Mysterio will take this match and immmediatly start contending for a belt)

ECW Champ- John Morrison vs. CM Punk ( Punk takes it home)

Obviosly the Hardy and Lashley situations have really hurt this Years Summerslam.

Wow...way to screw up, Jeff. He most likely was booked to win the title, too.

I can't see Umaga as a face, though, even after yesterday's Raw incident. Hopefully Hardy will smooth over all these things and they give Kennedy the IC belt at Summerslam. Maybe they'll do a match with Umaga, Kennedy, Santino (ugh), and Carlito and have Kennedy win it...but I still would much rather see Jeff win the belt and then he could feud with Umaga, Kennedy, Carlito, and all the rest of the guys in that midcard contention.

This isn't my prediction on a card, but instead a question regarding the ppv. As everyone knows, Triple H. is scheduled to make his return at the ppv.. however...

He isn't scheduled to return on t.v. at all, until the actual ppv. Thus meaning, with the exception of Booker T. going on & on about being the only true King.. whos to say Triple H. is even returning to Summerslam in a wrestling match?!?!?! Whos to say it isn't going to end up being B.S. regarding maybe Jerry Lawler v. Booker T. with Triple H. being the ref??

Believe me, I KNOW this sounds stupid.. & for WWE to do it, it would be too.. but the fact is, 90% of anyone buying this ppv is doing it to SEE Triple H. not actually knowing (yet) if he's even going to wrestle.. & keep in mind, WWE is sneaky with that.. they keep reminding the world he'll return at Summerslam, but they haven't actually announced him "wrestling" anyone.

At SS i think HHH is going to return much like before in a non wrestling fashion. Have an interview saying he is back and all and then have King Booker interrupt him much like Kurt Angle did the last time and HHH will bury him with a Pedigree. He will NOT have scheduled match at Summerslam..

I like the RAW main event seeing as Orton could take the belt off Cena. Also Hardy vs MVP and CM Punk vs John Morrison are can't miss matches.

My biggest complaint is that while everyone whines about Cena being champ for a year no one has complained that Batista has been in every Smackdown PPV main event since Summerslam last year. He has gotten a World Title rematch at every pay per view since he lost it at Wrestlemania. Is the Smackdown creative team thinking "Man, I bet the fans wanna see Batista get another World Title shot." Please don't say there is no other oppent for Khali, if you put Kane against him one on one the match wouldn't suck any worse, and it would keep Batista out of at least one SD PPV main event.

I completely agree with you. While I'm one of the millions that wish Cena not only would lose the title, but its gotten so bad as to wish he'd disappear for a couple monthes.. I also have gotten more than tired of seeing Dave "never gonna win the big one again" Batista get title match after title match. The only sad thing is.. Kane v. Khali at Wrestlemania 23 sucked so bad, they don't want a repeat.. & sadly, Batista v. Khali was suppose to be a Great American Bash match.. but didn't due to injures.. so thats what we'll "finally" get. (dispite reports of their singles matches sucking at house shows)

Smackdown! truly has NO alternative though. I'd LOVE to see Ric Flair reform the Four Horsemen & capture the World Heavyweight Championship.. but I've also read something about WWE asking Taker to return at Unforgiven to retake the World Title off Khali. My only question there is.. I thought Taker's injury was the 9-10 month type??

If the Undertaker's coming back soon, despite how ironic it sounds for the "dead man"...THANK GOD haha. They really need him to come back asap, as well as Edge and Holly. Holly is a good person to keep in the midcard status to feud with the likes of Matt Hardy, and Edge and Taker are by far the two best guys Smackdown has to offer. Add those on top of Rey Mysterio's entertaining performances and you can have some decent matches. Now, their problem is that aside from MVP, Matt Hardy, and one or two others in the lower card status, Smackdown is just filled with big guys that can't do much (Khali, Kane, Batista, Mark Henry). Its a shame with the low # of people on ECW that they don't just combine the two for Smackdown, get rid of the ECW championship and replace it with the Hardcore championship or even something interesting like the Television championship. Smackdown would get a lot more interesting if there was a title that could be lost at any second or if you were guaranteed at least one hardcore match in each ppv, don't you agree? And its not like ECW would be losing anything...right now you don't even have to watch it to guess what the matches are going to be (let's see, is CM Punk going against Burke again for the third or fourth week in a row?) That way we don't have 10 minutes of the Miz dancing to fill up ECW's time and he can be thrown into the Cruiserweight mix as a jobber lol
