Well according to the reports, Randy Orton vs. Triple H is set to happen, which is why even though Orton keeps getting in trouble, he still gonna be put over main event wrestlers such as RVD or HBK, only to job to Triple H's homecoming match. I hope we get to see a Kennedy vs. Edge match for the World Heavyweight Championship since the feud has pretty much been set up already. The only problem with this would be a Kennedy face turn, which in my opinion I think is too early in his career to happen yet. I also remember hearing about a Rey-McMahon feud to happen when Mysterio comes back, which is pointless as McMahon thinks having him put people over all the time is a good thing. Kennedy, Mysterio, and Edge in a three way dance sound alot better.

By the way, does anybody know where I can get Summerslam tickets? I thought they sold out a while ago, but I heard a report that WWE was going to make more. Much appreciated.

There's been loads of talk about Jericho coming back to the WWE for Summerslam. If we're unlucky enough to still have Cena as champion, maybe a Cena/Jericho match could be on the cards. Have Jericho win, get Cena to turn heel for a while, or else get him off of the main events for a good few months.

Well Vince/Mysterio seems quite likely with all the rumours and stuff, and will probably be the main event. Cant see Khali or Batista still challenging for the titles so hmm..maybe Orton will face Cena and Benoit will face Edge?? or maybe Benoit and Orton will swap brands in the draft so it can be Benoit/Cena and Edge/Orton, which would be the better option. Other than that I can't really predict much else happening, maybe Punk will challenge Lashley?? Who knows, but SS don't usually dissapoint so who knows..

Since cena has basically plowed through all other talent I would have to agree that because of the draft he may face orton or benoit but hopefully it won't be snitsky.because just like with cena vs kahli that would be a lose/lose situation.

Forgot to add this but I agree about vince vs rey. Since vince loves being on the tv and will never get off until he dies he or umaga could face rey sometime soon

OK after seeing the start of RAW i believe the main event for Summerslam is going to be for the WWE Championship and it will pit John Cena vs. Vincent Kennedy McMahon. Just get that feeling that Umaga nad Khali and maybe even Shane will try to get the title off Cena but fail so Vince will try to do it himself. I think this can be an ok match if you add stipulations to it cause Vinnie Mac can do ok in those types of matches, but if its justu a regular match then we may all be in trouble.

I thought this happened two years ago. Or is Vince that idiotic to put the same Main Event twice? I, for one, do not see this happening. Nobody would want to see it happen IMO.

Mick Foley and Flair had an "I Quit" match last year at this ppv, so i don't see another one this soon as its usually saved for a big time deal or storyline. I don't agree either with having the same main event two times at a ppv as big as this, even if it is a gimmick match, as we deserve to see different feuds with the upcoming draft and the blowoffs of different rivalies at SummerSlam.
Maybe Cena and Jericho can have theyre "rematch" of some sort the next month at Unforgiven, so we can have two good ppv main events(the other being Cena vs. Benoit in a good gimmick match hopefully.)
Does anybody know where to get tickets for this thing!!!

It was reported earlier today that Steve-O and his buddies from the television show Jackass would be involved in the main event of WWE SummerSlam this August at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Internally, some people are already shaking their heads at this news.

I think the WWE is daring the IWC to go away. Honestly, this can't be true, can it? First K-Fed, then Donald Trump, and now the Jackass guys, in the main event at Summerslam? Please tell me that this is an absolute cruel joke. I mean, I screwed myself by missing out on Khali/Umaga/Cena Triple Threat, but this I couldn't honestly miss. Actually if I'm anywhere near a TV that night, I deserve to go to hell.

It's time like this when i wish we could have a real worlds champion back, ah the good old days...

The WWE needs to do the following before any Summerslam.

1) Move all the tag teams to one brand, preferrably Raw. That means Deuce and Domino, London/Kendrick, WGTT, Hardy's, Cade/Murdoch, Regal/Taylor, Cryme Tyme, etc

2) Get Johnny Nitro back into the spotlight so he can bring some decent matches to the IC title picture.

3) Move all of the crusierweights and anyone in that weight range to ECW to let them have a secondary title. I would rather them perform on ECW once a week and do their crazy shit over there instead of cloud the two other brands with all that.

4) Move all the women over to Smackdown. I cant tell you how I cant stand to watch any of them in the ring. It is like being spit in the eyes by a poisonous snake...

5) Keep Khali off TV and every remaining PPV of the year and out of any title picture humanly possible. I dont pay money for top notch PPVs to see a 7 minute WWE Championship match

Now...

With all this talk of Cena, Kennedy, Edge, Mysterio, Umaga, etc at Summerslam...where does this leave Batista? What do you guys think the WWE will do with him and fued him with next? If I have to see Mark Henry in a wrestling ring again on PPV like I did with One Night Stand I will literally pull all my hair out...that was unbelievably horrible to watch...so hopefully we dont see him against Batista. I really dont like Batista but he has put on some decent matches the last few months with Taker and Edge...and also, the WWE has to and I mean HAS TO take the Intercontinental Title off of Santino Marella...he is a joke in the ring and a joke as a champion...the man gets no pop and the fans hardly even know who the hell he is...

Honestly if I could have my Summerslam Card it would be the following...but before that, I wish the WWE would bring back the King of The Ring PPV...and just have the entire tournament in one night...first round 15 minutes, second round 30 minutes and last match 60 minute time limit and the winner of the tournament face the WWE Champion at Summerslam...but obviously the big whigs in the company like to force feed us trash...anyway...

John Cena vs (Hopefully but it wont happen) Chris Jericho/If not Y2J then Chris Benoit because honestly there isnt anyone else worthy of a title shot right now...or you could even have him square off against Batista. Just have Batista go off the deep end in a fit of frustration after he constant losing matches in big time situations and come to the draft, destroying Edge and aiming for Cena...

World Heavyweight Championship
Edge vs Mr. Kennedy (this will happen for obvious reasons since Kennedy is scheduled to come back in July according to reports)

ECW Heavyweight Championship
Bobby Lashley vs CM Punk (I think CM Punk deserves the spotlight finally, and I am honestly tired of Lashley being pushed when he dont deserve to be pushed. I think he could bring out a good match in Lashley, CM Punk that is, plus there really isnt even anyone else on ECW worth mentioning, but I am banking on Snitsky here which will further prove that WWE higher ups either had their brains sucked out by aliens or that they are just ******ed and know nothing of their product)

Tag Team Championship TLC Match
Team Extreme vs WGTT vs London/Kendrick vs Deuce/Domino (The ladder match has been a staple at Summerslam for quite a number of years and this should be the culmination of the tag team title fueds once and for all, but for this to happen they need to take the belts off Cade/Murdoch which I still dont know why they gave them the belts to begin with)

HHH vs Randy Orton (this one will happen and we all know that)

Rey Mysterio vs Umaga (I would actually enjoy this if it did happen...have Rey come out against all odds and beat McMachon's henchman, with a constant struggle for rey from interference from the McMahons)

Thats all I have for now, with all of the top notch talent they have coming back off the injured list, plus stars like MVP, Finlay, etc...hopefully they make it a star studded event...last yrs was pretty weak in my opinion. On paper it looked good, but when it came down to it, it was missing that one big punch, if ya know what I mean...

Summer Slam is normally a good PPV. but this year it should be even better. I would like to see a Vince v.s Rey match (whit a stipulation) A return of Y2J would be nice. We could see him going for the intercontinentil belt. Now that Batista is no longer allowed to go for the world championship (as long as Edge is holding it) it would be nice to see him and Flair go after the tag belts and win them. A great match would be John Cena v.s Mr. Kennedy for the title and have Kenedy win it since he had the money in the bank taken away from him. I would like to see Edge keep the world title in a ELIMINATION fatle-four way matc v.s Chris Masters/Kane/ and Mat Hardy. Also we should see MVP defend the title v.s Finlay. And 1 last thing, see Jimmy Wang Yang take the cruiser weight title in a 3way v.s Chavo, and Jamie Noble. That would be a nice PPV

I think that batista will have a part of the jackass angle bec. they got him lose at vengeance . edge can face rey mysterio and i think it is going to be the rematch bec. i think that at G.A.B. edge will face rey for the title. that all i got but u know what will be the main event for the wwe title.

Lashley vs Cena (there the two headliners in Raw so its obvious there going to go at it. Would love to see it end with Lashley winning because Kennedy screwed Cena.)

Nitro (who will still be champ) vs Burke, Corvon and Punk in a Hardcore Fatal 4-way elimination match. Personally i would love Burke to win, he's got so much skill and a awesome storyline would be Corvon turning face and going after Burke for the title. I still don't think CM Punk is ready yet, i think he should win it at Wrestlemania 24.

I see Rey coming back for Great American Bash and getting the win over Umaga.And then goes to Summerslam to face Vince with Rey winning again.I just see them facing because the fued is right in front of us and Vince did attack him so we all know we will be seeing it.

As for Cena, I see him facing Lashley at Summerslam.He will beat Booker at the Bash and then Lashley at Summerslam.I think they will face just because they are the two big guys in the WWE right now and Vince thinks so highly of them.

Edge will either begin his fued with Hardy because Matt has been working hard for that main event spot and I think he will be granted it.If not his fued with Flair will begin because that is the only other major face on Smackdown that he can face as of now.

Ok, my predictions

I'm only going to post a few big matches

I think it will be Edge vs. Mysterio in Mysterio's return to the World Heavyweight division...(that alone is a joke), but I can also see Edge beating Mysterio and pull a move like they did last year at Summerslam, everyone thought Cena would win because it was in his hometown, but Edge pulled the rug under everyone by winning. So, Edge vs. Mysterio with Edge Winning

Cena vs. Lashley. This one is kinda predictable. Two of the "biggest" names to ever be shoved down our throat is a "dream match". Yeah...Cena vs. Lashley with Cena winning.

For the G.A.B., it will be Punk vs. Nitro, with Nitro winning. I can see them saving Punk's championship win for a grander stage, so for Summerslam, Punk vs. Nitro with Punk getting the win

And for the entire Jackass angle, I can see Mic Foley getting involved in this somehow since Foley is like the Jackass of the WWE. I could see Mic Foley and a few others getting involved to take on Jackass in a spotfest. It doesn't matter how old Mic Foley is, he'll do it. He's crazy like that.

And I'm excited that Umaga is actually getting over. I saw Vengeance, I know what I'm talking about. So I hope that they take advantage of this, but just don't shove it down our throats.

And since Batista can't go for the title, I could only see him take on the Great Khali...This blows that Khali is being jobbed out. WHats the point of brining in Khali when we still have Flair, Hogan, Foley, and the rest of the WWE Hall of Fame on speed dial to job for people.

With all the RAW talent, why can't they seem to get another good feud going with Cena much like the one with Edge. They make it an A brand show, with so many former champs and 2 belts, it really amazes me. I would love to see Cena feud with someone like Booker T (No King, its so old... I want the 5 TIME back... aw the good ol days of the supermarket sweep with Austin). Knowing WWE it's prob going to be a title match of Cena vs Foley......

As for SD title, Edge vs Mysterio, great match there... even though with the way Edge can act with his character, if they rebuild Kane like the See No Evil Kane, that would be a great 3 month feud.

Just saw the Cena v Lashley comment, no offense as dumb as a title match that be, it would be a great match, with those two they could prob go for 20-30 minutes high powered all the way through.

If this is one of the promo posters then it fills me with dread. One Jackass is fine. Two acceptable. But a whole clan. Do WWE really think Umage will be able to keep all of them in check? Seriously stupid idea. Thanks Shane-O. Why cant they be on a 'B' Show? Summer Slam doesn't need them. It's one of the 4 biggest shows of the year. And who get's left off the card so the Jackass people can appear. My prediction is MVP, Matt Hardy & Kennedy.

I should wait for the results of the GAB, but i cant wait to make my predictions for Summerslam! God, i'm so excited about it, this could be the return of a decent PPV for WWE, Not only for the possible return of THE GAME, but we could see a different WWE champion!
The equation is simple: Cena is NO WAY losing the belt at the GAB, no matter that Lashley beat him to death, he just have to overcome the odds again (and, as mentioned in the GAB thread, this match will be interfered IMO).
WWE is not letting Cena losing that belt in a B-class PPV (With the exception of WM23, the rest have a clear explanation...) but summerslam is rumored as the end (maybe temporary..)of Cena's reign.
My potentiall candidates for that macth against Felix are: Kennedy, Triple H, Orton, Booker and Lashley.... in a ELIMINATION CHAMBER match (thanks to The Shockmaster, he opened my eyes on this one...) we could see a fatal 4 way match instead, if they made my other prediction come true: Lashley vs Booker. I mean, this could be the feud of the year easily!! Booker can put Lashley way-over and help him improve his skills on the ring and in the Mic I'm really looking forward this one... But the Chamber would be ok though!!
