I think the explosion thing involving Vince is very very sick. Storyline aside who would put something lke that on a website and expect people to take it seriously. They would have done better by just having Vince suffer a "heart attack" in the ring which although serious is not over the top like the explosion gimmick they have going on.

Not sure if you know this, but wwe IS a soap opera. Hence storylines like this, fighting over a woman, Stone Cold being ran over ect.

Well sorry if I actually like wrestling as oppossed to people attempting to fake their death. I would say wrestling certaintly has more realism to it than Days of Our Lives even though things like this "angle" close the gap.

my thoughts on this: i was 99.999% sure of someone else driving the limo, or somebody in the rear seat also, maybe Jericho, HHH, Mysterio, even Taker as the driver!! but i never expected this, and im really pleased of what i saw tonight. Excellent wrestling show, excellent entertainment show, best RAW in a long time!!!

whats next? geeh.... there's a thousand possible storylines from here, the most obvious is the Who did it? leading to a disturbing revelation (Shane, Lashley, Coach, Steph, HHH, ALL the guests at the appreciation night....)
i will stick to the plot idea, since a suicide angle sounds pretty boring, and is not that interesting.
my bet? Shane. i know, we have seen that father vs son thing before, but who cares?? shane RULES, he can wrestle better than half of the roster, he can do some insane-sick-out of this world spots (last one; ONS???) he is a master at the Mic, he has charisma, and the most important thing of all..

Smackdown: They better be praying for a improvement this Wednesday, or they are going to be the C brand in no time, guaranteed.(until taker and other big star decides to comeback and save the brand....Jericho??) i cant see Shawn Michaels jumping to SD! cause the "presumable" retirement... Mr. McMahon tried to kill himself because of the cancer. But he was blown from the limo and will be in a burn unit till he is ready to return to tv. Linda will find a sucide note and we will have no who done it story line. The WWE will continue with Shane or Stephine in charge like there father would want it.

I know this might sound dumb but it could be an angle with them leading up to the jackass people being apart of summerslam like being a prank gone wrong hence the car explosion could of been a prank or something and it exploded the whole car and mcmahon got out on the other side of the limo he comes back a few weeks later and fueds with steve o fomr the way it looks to me it could lead to a match at summerslam jackass vs wwe.

I've been hearing that the segment was taped Sunday night. This is apparently a way to kill his TV gimmick. I really don't think that he will ever return. The reason WWE filmed it Sunday night was to edit the explosion, and so you couldn't see Vince running out of the car.

I think Vince will return. He somehow feels he needs to have his face on RAW every week to gain ratings or something. Nevertheless, I think he'll be back in a few months.

I think it needs to be a "murder" storyline instead of a "suicide" storyline, because they could have a huge storyline w/ an investigaion. There are tons of possibilities right now. Shane, Steph, DX, Stone Cold, Piper, Bret Hart, Coach, Pat Patterson, Brisco, JR, Mysterio, Eric Bischoff, Ted Turner, Psycho Sid, and the Jackass guys. They can go a long way w/ this storyline. If they play it right it will work out BIG TIME, but if they don't it will be worse than the XFL.

There is a different theory that I have and that it's not a real explosion, hell they might not have used pyro, I think it was computer made. Go to wwe.com, look on the main page, not the first one that pops up. Look at the explosion, click on "continue", look at the next explosion, they aren't the same explosion. I have another one, look at the door on the popup that you first see. It's closed, look on the page after you click "continue" the door is open. How can a door close when the car is on fire?

They have been threatening to 'invade' WWE for ages. I wouldn't be suprised if they showed up soon and admitted that it was them on Impact. Just for ratings. And if they did score a contract with Vince, this start is a hell of a lot better then there original Invasion intro

Anyone who says that was lame is either lying or would've hated anything they did. That was a great ending, definitely reminded me of the Attitude era.

I'm assuming it was Shane. They don't get enough credit for building up that angle. Unless I missed it, he wasn't on RAW tonight and can now "take over" for Vince and run roughshot over the WWE. I think Vince will disappear, not be in the hospital, and make his return during a promo where Shane is about to sell the company/make a major change.

I heard somewhere the New Jack is coming to WWE and with McMahon going about destroying ECW, New Jack could save his home-brand by taking the only man out, and doing something that none of the other originals had the balls to do.

Plus New Jack is known for being one sadistic son of a bitch, i reccon he could put on one hell of a match with Sandman.

I would watch that.

I just read that they filmed the Explosion last night and that the long pause where he was in the car but the door was open was them switching from live to tape, so it wasnt CGI or just pyro, they actually blew up a Limo.

In any case i have a feeling that WWE is gonna screw this 'Who car-bombed Mr Mcmahon?' storyline up like the 'Who ran over Austin?' or the 'Who is the Ministry of Darkness's Higher Power?' storylines

watching raw it was going as i thought it was going to. i didnt expect bret hart to be there but i didnt read any of the websites before i came back in the room and saw bret hart talking on tv. THE ENDING SHOCKED ME. I expected that someone would have been in the limo or driving the limo that wasnt the driver. What I expect to happen is like a lot of what people said earlier that its a Shane McMahon blowing up the car so that he could finally be in charge. I am intrigued though to see where this goes and I will be watching next week where as the past couple weeks I would miss the end and be able to predict what happens now I dont know what to expect. As previously stated it really does remind me of the attitude era I hope storylines ending continue like this it makes for interesting tv.

i know exactly what happened...

paul london, mad about not being able to do shooting star presses anymore, decided something must be done about vinnie mac (did anyone else notice his smile while mcmahon was walking by?) so he went to hollywood to enlist the help of paul heyman who was just getting done writing a movie about a guy with a 36 inch penis. he called him new jack-off. so heyman agreed to take wwe to the extreme by killing mcmahon. but the explosion didnt occur bc of a bomb. it was actually ricky banderas using his superpowers he used against vampiro. so the rest of the storyline will come when vince mcmahons ghost enlists the help of the ghost of big bossman to determine who killed him. howver, theyl believe it was the terrorists, i.e muhammed hassan. however, after the hauntings occur on raw and smackdown (not on ecw bc kevin thorn will use his terot cards and mystic powers of mordecia to keep him away) the undertaker will return to eliminate the ghost of mcmahon by using his magical electricity, while also killing muhammed hassan again, and then hel hang the ghost of bossman just for the hell of it.

and then everyone else in the roster will die too.

nwo kind of flunked the first time around, infact in flunked so bad that they ended up bring back a 4 horsemen angle, which just became Evolution. EVOULUTION worked better than wwe's nwo. Any stable that by the end has absolutely NONE of its orignal members aint a good stable.

Shane probably is the most likely suspect as Stephanie is blowing up WWE from the inside,with all the terminations... anyone with me?

Now granted everyone knows that this is a storyline. But i have worked in TV for 6 years and yes this was filmed sunday night. BUT there was no editing involved. the only edit u have is when the cameras cut from inside the building to the parking lot. if u watch carefully once the camera cut to vince walking out the door the camera never once cut again it was the same shot with the same camera. and how many times can u actually blow up the limo? they basically had 1 shot at this. So there technically wasnt any editing in the parking portion of it. This is what happend....notice when vince got in the car they got a nice close up shot of JUST THE DOOR! where on that shot for several seconds (giving vince enough time to get out of the other door and crawl away to a safe location) there was a stuntman inside as when the camera zoomed out a bit u could see a foot hanging outside the door and as soon as that door shut the camera blew.

There wasnt any camera cuts, fades, dissolves or anything like that with the exception of cutting from the camera man inside the building to the one standing right outside the door.

That's was a classic Sports-Entertainment ending.Its kinda like when Shane shoved Kane into the burning dumpster in 2003.Maybe Vince'll return from the dead and be the Undertaker's tagteam partner?

I'd be keen for zombieVince angle. Maybe then he might be a serious competitir for the WWE Title, unliek winnign the Royal Rumble. Also think about it zombieVince vs Undertaker vs Sycho Sid vs Kane at Armagedon. Now that is Armagedon!

I must say they really did a good job making this look really convincing. I ran right to the computer after I saw that ending to check this out because just mentioned ago & true there was no camera cut, blip or fade, but In my mind I knew something was up & it was all planed.

They exactly right on the tick and at the slam of the limo door they cut right to what they did the night before & thats the blowing up of the empty limo

Some are saying that a stunt man was involved & Vince somehow got out of there in the nick of time. What I saw was Vince getting with foot sticking out then going in with door almost shut, then the door opens a little bit with a foot sticking out again which I believe was Vince's. It could've been an implication that he was thinking for a second if he should do it which he did.

If that was to be a stunt man inside the limo sticking out the foot, how does one survive in something like that?? Another thing is when the foot went inside the limo the first time about 5 SECONDS later another foot peeked out, I really don't think that would've been enough time for Vince to escape, he's not Road Runner.

FORGOT TO MENTION

At the last 2 scenes of the burning limo you can here clearly in the side distance engines running from most likely the Fire Trucks waiting for those cameras to turn off

See I'm usually the glass half full guy when it comes to the WWE, but this... this only has one word to describe it Wrestlecrap. You know it wouldn't be so bad if Vince was actually going to be gone from TV forever, but you know at some point he'll resurface. Put aside the fact I saw it coming a mile away its utter crap. How many wrestlers have come back from the "dead". This kind of crap is what makes Wrestling a fake sport even less believable. I don't know who is more stupid the person that pitched the idea, or the person that said "yeah, thats a great idea" if this is indicative of the direction the WWE is going in then I seriously fear for its future.

You may be right...but heres what i heard from a blind panda a the zoo...

It was Val Venis.

Val was making some porn (as he does) in his limo when vince climbed into the wrong limo and got into an arguement with Val Venis. It turned out that MVP was in the limo making the porn with Val and some of the godfathers ho's. Little did anyone know but MVP was still on fire from his inferno match with Kane and when Vince brought out a can of petrol (because he likes the smell) it all went wrong and the limo exploded Val and MVP were ok though because they were covered in loads of Lube which protected them from the fire.
