[Official] Mr. McMahon Memorial Thread

After having a few hours to think about angles, it would seem that who dun it would be the most logical but think about how many ex wwe/wcw/ecw superstars are in TNA now... Angle, Sting, Jarrett, Cage, Tomko, 3D, and so on... they could really do something different and interesting if it was anyone of the ex-wwe ppl that are now on TNA. And, if Vince is indeed out from the TV part for awhile, this would give Steph and company the opportunity to do something that no one else would expect...thats why it would work, they could make it last as long as they needed to until Vince comes back.

This could be very similar to the "famous/infamous" soap "Dallas" when one of the main characters died but came back to life as his death was all a dream 36 episodes later. In two years time when wwe has it's best ratings ever, owns TNA, Cena is actually not the champion, Lashley can speak a better promo than the Rock, CM Punk is WWE champion and Ric Flair is running the company Vince decides he wants to come back on TV and then decides to make it all a dream by Eric Bischoff wo wanted to kill Vince himself.

That was a dreadful pun!

Definately think it's going to be a "Who Tried to Kill Vince" Angle. Vince will recover and lead the investiagtion himself. Probably turn out to be HHH, or perhaps Mr Kennedy.

Presumed? I doubt anybody would survive an explosion like that. That's why it's stupid. If they have any intention of bringing him back then they shouldn't have made such a huge explosion. Like Jonny said. Wrestlecrap.

This makes me wonder whats going to be on ECW tonight. A memorial? A Party? Who knows. But has anyone considered that this a storyline that Vince just fakes his death to do something else.

Its just an angle to kill the character of Mr. McMahon, perhaps Vince thinks he's takin his on air charecter as far as he can, maybe now Shane will be introduced as the chairmen of wwe, that would be cool or Raw will get a GM hopefully Shane will take over though.

At the end when he was walking by all the superstars with that weird smile i knew something HUGE was gonna go down. i thought the limo would take off and stone cold was driving. but the explosion seemed like the good old days

I'm in disbelief that Jonny and Jake you guys didn't like this angle...I mean...I thought it was fucking SUPERB, one of the best things the WWE has done...EVER. I mean, it was so UNEXPECTED and just crazy! It'll definately liven up storylines for sure and provide us with alot to talk about.

It truly does seem that wrestling fans are never pleased, ever.

I thought it was magnificent, a moment that'll stand time as a classic in WWE. Wrestlecrap not at all IMO. I mean everybody knows that Vince is gonna come back and explain how he cleverly faked his death anyways.

Anyone else see like a foot or something underneath the limo before it exploded? I thought it was nothing but I think it was possibly Vince escaping through a trap door.

Crazy though man, just crazy. One of the best things I've seen WWE do in years.

My initial impression was WTF. Then again it was on at 4 in the morning. But if he returns then ultimatley it's pointless. Fine if he's not on TV for a few years but I see him back in 6 months or so. They will probably just have him return one night, completley unexplained. The only way I see this working is if he returns early at Vengeance or one of this months TV tapings.

The way I see it panning out is. I think he will just return quite randomly. Withing the next month. He will have faked his own death. His family will believe he's dead. He'll just return and obviouls the rest of the McMahons will be pissed, leading to a Shane/Vince match at Summer Slam or Survivor Series.

ok but thats already been done seen it been there done that dont wanna see it again...the exploding car just sitting there HASNT BEEN DONE sure they've had cars get smashed, droped, ran into, run over, but never exploded while standing still...so it was original...and thats what i think everyone wants to see is something that hasnt been done before which is what makes the wwe so unique although they sometimes steal talent idea and other things from other companies most of what they do is original so maybe for some the shane/vince family crap will work again but id rather see something ive never seen before

I don't know Jake, I highly doubt that McMahon would do this and then come back within a month, I mean that's ridiculious theres no chance in hell they're going to do that.

They'll build this up to a Vinnie-Shane match or something along those lines. But I still think it's an awesome idea, adds alot of good stuff to the shows what with the new draft as well.

So you didn't like the angle I'm guessing Jake? I figured I'd come on this morning and everyone would be raving up and down about how awesome it was. I thought it was great personally.

After watching it again, there were those two guys in the parking lot. From the looks of it they looked like Matt Striker and Murdoch :S (JK) but w/e i reckon they had something to do with it. And this will be a storyline with Vince saying. "You Apprechiate me now im gone.." When he returns, because they'll have a whole tribute like they did for Eddie etc, other people who really died. Then Vince will come back and say blah blah you miss me now im gone. Yah strange, but its the only way i can see this going..

Not really. I dont watch wrestling for big angles like that. I know you cant compare ROH to WWE. But they would never need to do a big angle like that. They would find a way to make a big impact without ''killing'' off a character.

I'm also dissapointed. Vince in my opinion has been a highlight of WWE this year. While he struggles so hard to get Lashley over it was pointless. He was always the big star of that feud. He's absolutley hilarious. And a more credible champion than most of the wrestlers holding gold.

if thats the case then it wouldnt be original and soiling Eddie's memory by doing the same for Vince would only cause more damage then good for WWE cause he wouldnt really be dead. i dont see vince coming back for a few years let everybody just forget about him for awhile then outta the blue sometime next yearhe will reappear and they can drag it out for as long as they want but let time pass before vince comes back dont spoil it let it sit there like a fine wine lol

Of course this is fake but haven't we all saw the Undertaker return from the dead 2 or 3 times? This is a good storyline even though it is very far fetched, WWE is going to get higher ratings from this IMO, so it is only good for the company. If they are going to go with the "Who done it" storyline than I my guess would be COACH! He was the guy who redirected Vince to his limo(remember Vince was not heading to his limo the first time before Coach came up to him and made sure he got to his limo). Coach has the motive to do it too, Vince made him face Cena, Austin, Lashley, etc just b/c he was pissed off some nights. Coach will most likely get full control of RAW since he was the executive assistent so he had everything to gain from this.

Although I can see where people are coming from when they say it was Coach...

I don't think Coach is capable of holding a storyline like this up and I believe it was just added emphasis on Vince being abit mad - not knowing where his Limo was.

I thought this was the best ending to Raw in quite some time. Like someone said before, it may lead to a whodunnit type angle, which begs the question..who will it be? Sure, people like Coach, Lashley..even Austin are viable, but, if they are really keeping with WWE.com being for storyline enhancement, remember the interview they did with Trevor Murdoch where he was irate that he and Cade may get split. And, let me ask you this, who were the only two not in the back? I don't recall seeing Cade or Murdoch. Anyways, this was a great way to end Raw, and, although I was hoping that Vince would emerge from the firey wreckage, and, in typical McMahon voice yell, "I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK", as Raw went off the air, this honestly was the first time since the attitude era I've turned the tv off thinking, "WTF?"

BTW, Wrestlezone is now reporting that at least one Radio station has picked up the story, thinking it real, so, apparently, the ploy has workeed, lol...btw, anyone else notice the pop the explosion got? Everyone would feel like assholes if that turned out to be real, lmao

The thing about this whole thing that I have a problem with, is not only the fact that I was half asleep at 4 in the Morning and I saw it coming a mile away... but its that the WWE have to resort to something like this. A big explosion and everyone is suddenly happy... great so now we get a month of McMahon "Tributes" and a storyline of "who did it". To me the WWE are coving up the inept talent on the roster, and the actual depth by pulling this stunt. The draft overall was ultimately pointless, Smackdown got shafted and ECW didn't really change all that much, while RAW gains everything. So to cover up the utter crap of the Draft they pull this crap on us.

The whole point of an Angle is to get someone over, and I cant almost say for certain that no-one will get over from this, so what ultimately is the point in doing it? They have just booked themselves into a corner writing McMahon out, and when they finally have to bring him back every Wrestling Fan is going to shit on this angle because it was ultimately pointless. I want to see a good overall product with good matches and decent storylines to back it up and this is only covering up what the WWE cant do, and thats provide what most of the Wrestling Fans want to see.

Anyone consider that it was Randy Orton who just went really really far. He might go bragging that he killled the legend of Mr McMahon. It will never happen but some people are saying that Cade and Murdoch did it.

Seriously Jonny, you saw that coming? How? I mean...what the fuck would make you think "He's about to die." I mean that was so damn unexpected and surprising I don't understand how anyone could have predicted that at all.

May I ask how you saw that coming mate?

When the limo exploded, i was sad. I mean i have been watching Vince all of my life, and now he is possibly dead. All of those times when people were ripping on him, I was sitting there thinking "why doesnt he just fire them?" Now I know. He has respect for them but he tries to be a bad guy to make people believe he hates and disrespects them. If he hated his superstars, why are they still there? I have major respect for vince, and I hope he is not dead. If he is dead, it is the downfall of WWE. A bunch of superstars left or got "injured". No one can run WWE quite like vince, and I believe, even if you hate him, you will be sad if his persumed death is real. I know I will be.

am i the only one that can see McMahon returning as the Zombie character? Makes more sense than most of the other shit happening in the WWE right now!!

Seriusly this was a great ending to Raw, but what the hell? Why is wwe.com playing this up? Mr. McMahon has been presumed dead for over half a day now, while authorities conduct an investigation. You would think they would check to see if the man was alive or not straight away!!! But no. They need to conduct an investigation first. Hopefully, they will find time in the next few days to return to the scene and see if Vince has a pulse. But hey... no big hurry!!!

As soon as the limo exploded I thought that it was a suicide angle, but it looks like WWE is going with a murder angle. Vince said he saw a black loud looming these past few weeks so I just assumed he lost it and committed suicide, but we'll see where they go with this. I think in the end, some people will be disappointed because inevitably this is to set up a Vince return down the line I believe and I know some think he needs to stay off tv for good at this point.

But here's the catch to all of this. WWE.com has been reporting that his body hasn't been found so right there is the loop hole in this storyline. He'll be back within a few months and proclaim that he escaped just in time before the limo exploded, or escaped just as it exploded and suffered only "minor" injuries. I say at most he is gone for 6 months.

Honestly, it was just really obvious to me. I said it to myself jokingly to begin with, then when I saw him walking up to the Limo I just knew it was going to happen, I would have been more surprised had he got in, and the limo just driven away. It just smacked of something the WWE would do, a desperation move on their part. This in my opinion stinks of Stephanie McMahon.
