Official List of Banned WWE Terms Sent Out to International Voice-Over Workers

this annoys me, i thought the wwe was suposed to be about wrestling instead of the boring soap opera crap. of course thats just me, i actually watch RAW and SD cause i wanna see matches, of course vince would kill his own company for his own personal gain and leave people who want actual wrestling hanging, just cause they wanna entertain a bunch of snot nosed lil brats.

No you don't want to see wrestling. You want to see scripted action from paid performers. If you want to watch wrestling, get the Big 10 network. They have wrestling all the time, it's entertaining.

When you watch the WWE, you watch for storylines. Plain and simple.

This doesn't bother me one bit. I'm not offended, nor am I happy. One of two things will happen:

A) Whatever Vince has planned has already taken effect and I don't notice the difference
B) Vince's plan fails and it goes back to the way it was, like every other failed plan of his

People are so pissed off over the term "soap opera" because of the stigma attached to the term. When people think "soap opera," they think of extremely cheesy love stories with horrible acting that come on during weird hours of the day. I think people are embarrassed to be associated with professional wrestling in public as it is, because of the inevitable, "HERP DERP YOU KNOW IT'S FAKE, RIGHT?" bullshit that every single one of us has to deal with.

I guess now they can say, "YEAH, I KNOW IT'S FAKE! IT'S A SOAP OPERA!"

But whatever. I'm not even bothered. Next Monday, I'm going to turn on Raw, participate in the LD, and I'm not going to be affected by what the company is calling itself during press conferences in the slightest bit.
