[OFFICIAL] Husky Harris / Cody Rhodes Discussion Thread

I like this guy, his speed and power go well together and comes out to be a cocky heel which doesn't mind beating people up to get a win.He isn't in such a bad shape that he can't do any moves but yet still looks likes he is built like a brick shit house.Husky has a look of a cocky heel and I think that will get him to around the top 3 of NXT maybe even more.

Basically I've been thinking that Husky Harris could be a great World Champion, he has an distinctive look, he's big, he's good on the mic and his in ring ability is great for a man his size. He is very talented and we know that Vince loves the bigger guys, so I think it's pretty much certain that one day he will be World Champion.

So what do you guys think?
Do you guys think he will be World Champion one day?

Husky Harris has been impressing me on NXT lately, he has great agility, strength, and is better than a lot of people in the ring. He also has a good size and weight advantage on his size and as we all know Vince basically gets a hardon for guys like him and could definitely be in the main event scene in a few years. Aside from the strange name he has everything it takes to be a world champion and I believe that he will continue to impress us for years to come, the running senton that he uses as a finisher has been winning me over as of late. This season of NXT definitely feels better talentwise than the first, there are 5 men left and out of them I believe that 4 of them have what it takes to be serious main event competitors in a few years and Kaval could be in the uppermidcard and eventually be booked into a Rey Mysterio style if he continues to impress with his in ring ability and innovative style. Husky however could without a doubt be thrust into the uppermidcard after NXT if they find someone good enough for him to feud against and with the lack of main event talent on Smackdown it could just be a matter of time before he reaches the top.

Yeah. Out of all the NXT2 rookies, I think Husky Harris probably has the biggest shot at it. Not saying he will win it any time soon, it could be YEARS before he is ready. But I see the huge upside he has. He has the potential to get there, I just don't know if it will be realized or not. If he works his ass off, he will earn his shot...

Husky has it all,he's young(23),he's a great athlete,he can mat wrestle,he can go pound for pound, he's quicker than even above average superstars and he's got that natural charisma.I think he would be a great world champion if they build him up with time and care. The only way they can mess him up is if they try to pass him off as a monster heel, other than that I think he will definitely be a world champion in the next 10 years or less

Yea I feel like husky is destined to be a world champ he has all the talent in the world he is the best wrestler out of all the nxt season 2 in my opinion he can cut a pretty good promo and he has been around the business his whole life. Husky is the total package and in a few years I can see him with the world title around his waist.

I'm gonna say yes too. He still needs a little promo work, but by the time he works his way up to the title picture I'm sure his promo's will be really solid. He has a good look for a bigger guy and is good in the ring. He also has age on his side so he has plenty of time to do nothing but get better and I'm sure he'll make it to the top.

he has every thing going for him, especially that he is not a lucky cannon. He has a distinct look, wrestles very well, he is very charismatic and even i'm starting to hate him [even though i like him] as a heel. He is like a young heel version of dusty rhoads, sprinkled with a little vader.

I LIKE THIS GUY, BUT I DON'T SEE HIM GETTING A PUSH AS CHAMP. NOT BECAUSE HE ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH, HE JUSR DOESN'T HAVE THE LOOK THAT VINCE LIKES IN HIS CHAMP. LESS TALENTED WRESTLERS WILL BE PUSHED AHEAD OF HIM BECAUSE THEY HAVE A BETTER PHYSICAL APPEARANCE. IF HE CAN GET IN SHAPE OR LOSE ABOUT FORTY POUNDS HE WOULD HAVE A BETTER CHANCE.

Yeah, I think Harris will be a World Champion one day.He is faster than most guys his size and can fight. He can mat wrestle to back that up and has a good move set and can switch it up.As long as he doesn't step on peoples toes then yeah this kid has everything you need.

It's too early to definitively say, but I will say that Harris definitely has the tools needed to make it all the way to the top. And unlike a certain other wrestler, Harris can actually use these tools. Let's check them all off:

Unique Look: Face it - Harris has a look unlike anyone else in the WWE, and best of all it's not because he's overweight; that's just his body type. It suits him, and lets him stand out.

Athleticism: In spades. Harris can move for a man his size, and it is this that actually made me pretty high on the guy even though I didn't like him much at the beginning of the season. He's surprisingly agile, enough to catch everyone off guard. He can work, and he can work well.

Charisma: This is the other thing that turned me on to Harris. Since his heel turn, Harris has impressed me with his natural heel charisma. He has swagger and a mean streak, combined in just the right ways. He stands out and really shows personality through everything he does.

Lineage: Harris is the son of IRS and blackjack Mulligan. Vince loves multi-generation superstars, and being in a wrestling family is sure to teach you a few things. IRS is also a backstage worker for the WWE, so he'll have a teacher right there to help him improve whenever he needs it.

However, even with all of this, his mic skills are average at best. He needs to work on that. He has everything else though, plus management is high on him, so I really don't see why, if he continues working hard and improving, he won't become a major player in the WWE.

He's got the best facial expressions of the group and conveys emotion in a believable way. His sneer when lucky tried to shake his hand and the look he had when it was his turn for the obstacle course was priceless. Kaval and Mcgillicuddy are too stoic, watson is too goofy, and riley is a classic definition of one dimensional.

i definitly think he'll be world champion one day i really think theyre behind him i mean his uranage senton combo is beautiful and he has "it" which everyone is saying i know but its the only way to describe him

I think its too bad that theirs only one winner. Because I think that theirs no way hes beating kaval. I had this feeling in the middle of last season with danielson and barret. But this time around kaval won't eliminate himself. but even though i like kaval more, i think harris has a huge future with or without the win.
