Beware, I'm about the completely rip on this weeks episode of ECW.

What a piece of shit. This episode was that fucking bad, I can't even think of a single bad word to describe it. It was horrible in every way, shape or form. The show actually started of decently, with Christian teaming with Finlay (aren't they supposed to be rivalries now) against Mark Henry and Kane. So, 3 of these guys have literally no chance of winning the match at Wrestlemania, yet the one guy who does have a chance of winning the briefcase, takes the pinfall here. It was a decent match, but it was hard to watch seeing as 3 of these guys don't interest me, and I was on the fucking phone at the same time waiting for my friend to hang up lol. Sadly, this was the best part of the show. I kid you not.

Next, they advertise, I repeat they fucking advertise and hype up a promo they will be showing after the break. And when I say promo, I actually mean a video package highlighting the events of the Undertaker/Shawn Michaels rivalry. Yes, because the WWE here thinks that people that watch ECW, have NO idea about the main feud that is taking place on both Raw and Smackdown. They assume the fans are so stupid, we need to know every little detail that happened in the feud. So they show us basically all the events leading up to the match. After 5 or 10 minutes minutes of yawns, I think they go to a commercial break. Actually no, I think they showed another 12 Round Promo before the commercial. I kid you not, another fucking 12 Rounds Promo! I'm a Cena fan, but these constant promos make me NOT want to see the movie.

Guess what folks, after the commercial break, we are shown another video package. Yai! This time it's on the triple threat World Title match at Wrestlemania. So they highlight all the events, because you know, ECW fans don't have any idea about the World Heavyweight Title match taking place at Wrestlemania 25. So we need to catch up on the latest details, because we haven't watched Raw or Smackdown for the past 2 months.

Next, after the commercial break oh boy, we are in for a real treat here. Does anyone know Triple H and Randy Orton have been feuding for 2 months and are facing each other this Sunday at Wrestlemania for the WWE Championship? Despite not missing a show this year, us fans apparently don't know about this. In order to catch up on all the latest details of the main feud on Raw right now, we need to watch a long video package. The WWE are saviours aren't they, so they show us a long video package highlighting every event that occurred in the feud! What would I have done without this promo! In all seriousness, the promo was actually quite good. But just like all the other video packages, it was simply not needed. Phew, lucky we get to see a match for the main event of the evening.

When someone says Brie Bella vs Nikki Bella, what's the first thing that comes to mind? A Divas match? A 3 minute match? A piss poor match? A toilet break? Well, guess what folks, the main event of the final episode of ECW before Wrestlemania 25 had the brilliant main event of Brie vs Nikki Bella. Two credible athletes here, they had such a great 3 minute match which was full of emotion, excitement and entertainment. Was this a fucking April Fools joke or something? Because John Morrison was that entertained by the match, he was texting on his phone the whole way through. You think I'm bullshitting? I wish I was too. You know who won the match? Na, I didn't care either.

Seriously, this has been one of the worst buildups to a Wrestlemania. Even though it's ECW, it still should have matches on it. Hell, give me an hour of Swagger, Christian, Finlay, Tyson Kidd and Evan Bourne. I don't give a fuck, have a 6 man tag team match that takes up the entire show. ANYTHING would have been better than having a total of about 14 minutes of wrestling, and about 45 minutes of non stop commercials and video packages. I'm not ordering Wrestlemania, because I'm at school when it's on, and I will download it a few days later if it's any good. But, this episode didn't get anyone pumped up for the big show. It's sad, when two twin divas who can't wrestle are in your main event. By themselves. It's even more said the WWE hyped up the match and expected people to watch.

Fuck you WWE. And how the hell did I write all this for a shitty one hour show? I'm becoming worse than Will and NoFate :lmao:

Yea, pretty fucking disgusting.

The champion of the damn program isnt even on in the go home show for Wrestlemania. not ONLY that, but hey, lets not even fucking showcase ANY of our guys, and lets have the DAMN BELLA TWINS ONE ON ONE FOR THE FUCKING MAIN EVENT. Now, this will probably go unnoticed to the vast majority of the veiwing audience, since nobody watches ECW. It hAS to be though, one of the most baffling things ever done in WWE.

Who on earth thought this would be a good idea?? that this was a fitting go home for WRESTLE FUCKIN MANIA? Why not just totally destroy any and all credibility this program and brand could possibly have?? Just amazing. Totally amazing. Like a ten car pile up on the interstate amazing. (with no fatalities of course)

Tonight's ECW was actually pretty decent IMO. While I'm not a fucking idiot like Matt Stryker or Josh Matthews, saying that the Morrison vs Bourne match was a match of the year candidate, I really enjoyed that one. And the triple threat was kinda disappointing, in the fact that Finlay wasn't eliminated, but it's all good. One of the better ECW's in awhile.

NorCal NightCap

Pretty damn fine episode of ECW tonight.

Tyson Kidd Vs Bourne was decent, if not a little drab. good, hard hitting contest from the young guys, with a pretty exciting finish to end it. Good opener for ECW

Fucking awesome Kozlov promo vid/ serious beatdown. Fuckin shit the man is awesome. I LOVE these squashed for whatever reason. Christian would make a great opponet for him, as he is a damn good bumper and seller.

What was a very good little guy - big guy match turns into a DAMN fine tag match. Best TV match all week so far. everyone playing their roles to the hilt, and non stop action. If you didnt see it, look this bad boy up on youtube. Fucking SICK Swagger bomb to close out the program. Loved it, all of it. good stuff. I give tonights ECW a B+.

NorCal Night Cap (double post, infraction)

Tonight was a damn fine night of pro wrestling on ECW.

Loved the Christian-Burchill match. No botching, and well done limp phsycology on both sides. both men looked strong, very well booked here. You all missed on a good match if you missed ECW

Kozlov in the uniform is fantastic. Good times. I <3 me some Kozlov.

So tonight, was the first time seeing Zack Ryder in the ring. The main thing I took away from ECW tonight...Zack Ryder is epic. I fucking LOVE the gimmick, the music, all that. The shit is fantastic. Anyone who lives in the Long Island-New York-New Jersey area HAS to love this fucking idiot. The music is great too, HOW can you hate that music?

Really dig the new hart foundation. I like the concept they tried for with the music, but I feel like its TOO far off the beat of the old music to work right. Clean up the chords a bit, and itll be good. Really a very old style match between Finaly and DH Smith, with Smith going over in the end with a really weird suplex. hmmm. I also think that the other members should have been interefering more. These guys are supposed to be like family, so it makes sense to me that ALL of them would be going after an opponet as much as they possibly could, like a pack of wolves. Too early to pick things apart just yet though, so ill give it a few weeks.

Awesome show tonight. A-

NorCal NightCap (Triple post, DEFINATELY infraction)

am I seriously the only sad fucker who watches this show? Well shame on all of you, becuase it pisses on a lot of other WWE programming, to be honest.

Damn good opening match, short and to the point backstage promo, good middle match, DAMN good ME match. Dunno what alls you want out ofa show.

DH Smith, and the foundation in general are looking very solid. Mightve had something to do with working with Christian. dunno.

Henry and Bourne make an EXCELLENT little guy - big guy match. Mark Henry is criminally underrated, and shows why here.

Dreamer and Swagger had a pretty exciting match, with Swagger winning via roll up. VERY nicely done. Swagger is just simply phenominal for someone with such inexperience. Loads of potential both with his skills, seasoning, and physically.

A fine episode of ECW

Tonight's ECW show saw the debuts of 4 new superstars:

Yoshitatsu- One hit KO'd BenJOBmen

Abraham Washington- The new talk show host who seemed a little nervous starting out, but after a while got comfortable w/ Bella Twins as guest

Shemus- Bigger than what I thought in size. He squashed a jobber and cut a promo before the match. He's got loads of potential, but gawd is he white.

Tyler Recks- Californian Surfer gimmick (reminds me of Ricky Ortiz. hmmmmm....) backstage segment with Zack Ryder, and will debut in ring on Superstars.

No Kaval, though I hope he pops up next week, or maybe comes on Smackdown?

Lee's ECW review

Open Segment; Tiffany

I really struggle with her as GM, she still seems rather nervous, however announcing the talent exchange got me a bit excited!

Opening 'Match'

Benjamin v Yoshi Tatasu

What the hell was Benjamin doing? Seriously, there would have been hell on if it was Yoshi who came out and started throwing the N word left right and centre. I'm glad the match ended quickly. I Like Yoshi's look, and I'm sure Yoshitatsu was a japanese warrior or something.

Next Segment

Abraham Washington, poor guy, he seems to have charisma, and seems to have potential, but this segment was painstaking to watch. He didn't know if he was face or heel, and the crowd were dead. I think he can improve though. The Bellas...why oh why are you on ECW? No one likes you.

Sheamus v Local Jobber

Well he dropped the O'Shaunussey, was a decent match, showed some potential, things are looking good for him, but again it's early days.

Next Segment

I dunno what it is about Zack Ryder but I like him, woo-woo! I also like the look of Tyler Recks. Good stuff.

Main Event Tag Match

I love regal, I loved that Striker marked for him, I just loved it. The story here didn't seem to be Dream & Christian v Regal and Koslov, but rather Dreamer v Christian and Regal v Koslov, seeds sown there. I also love Koslov's look like the Russian from Rocky.

As a whole ECW was average, but you can see the huge potential in the future with these guys. But I have questions to ask;
What about the Hurricane? Heck Helms wasn't even on the show.
What about the Burchills? Will Katie Lea get some matches now there are some more divas there?
Dj Gabriel/Zeke? are they going to debut?
Goldust? Will we see old school goldust now?

I can just about agree with all of this. Washingtons got the charisma to make a weekly segment like this work, amd he does indeed have potential. But yeah, I had no idea if he was face or heel, though I wouldnt exactly say the crowd was dead. All those idiots did was shout WHAT!? God, its the guys first night on the job, and he seemed nervous early on. And though it made zero sense to move the bellas to a place where there is no womens competition, they are hot.

Good episode of ECW. Weird, sorta, but still good. Lots of debuts. and good development in the ME Scene. No use of Goldust, which was a bit odd to me. I surely hope they dont just simply use Shelton as a jobber. While im not fan, I certainly feel he could be much better utilized than being squashed by new guys. Pretty damn good tag match to end things off with, via four very solid in ring preformers. Good show, solid enough.

B

i enjoyed it. that shemus guy is a huge milk bottle. but i can realy see ecw getting better now. fresher feuds between koslov and christain, dreamer and kolsov. shelton and christain. lots of possabilities. im realy glad to see koslov in new ring attire to makes him suit his gimmick more being in red and red being the color of communism.

I wasn't too impressed with ECW this week, mainly due to the fact the only competitive match was the main event. I thought ECW was supposed to be the wrestrling show! The abraham washington segment was garbage(unless something good happened at the end, I got so fed up with it I went to make a cup of tea and when I came back it was done) it added nothing to the show whatsoever. Is this going to be on every week because it's alot of time to spend on a non wrestling segment in a show that(after ads) only runs for around forty minutes. The "new talent initave" worries me. There's no point in bringing in a load of new talent, doing nothing with them and then firing them when they can't get over. I hope this isn't the case,I guess we'll have to wait and see. The main event was an OK match but the finish was kinda lame and I can't understand why Regal and Klovko went over when no one's really interested in them. If it had been done to enhance the Dreamer/Christian rivailery then fair enough, but it didn't.

On the plus side. Shelton on ECW is a good thing and he performed his comedy role very well. Hopefully this will lead into a fued between him and Tatsu. Shamus looks quite good, but was only in a squash match so again time will tell. A 4/10 from me this week.

I enjoyed ECW. I was getting sick and tired of the same old Mark Henry vs Evan Bourne matches. I'm excited to see how these young guys play out. I only started watching ECW recently due to Zack Ryder, but now I'm going to keep watching to see how these rookies do.

Not a bad show tonight, by any means.

Yoshi was fine in his job to benjamin, in what was this week, a real match, but no one gave a shit about anything happening, which doesnt bode well for the young guy. Was it becuase he is a vanilla midget, or becuase he was saddled with the black hole of charisma himself, Shelton benjamin? I dont know. What I do know, is that it doesnt bode well for Yoshi's future.

motherfuckign RIGHT we got us some damn Ezekial Jackson. Good look, sweet hard ass music, big time ass whipping. He is atrocious in the ring, yea, but ive seen worse. He also needs some black drunks, he looks absurd in that passion red. This guy is everything the WWE wants, and I truly hope his push continues.

Christian beat Kozlov for whatever crazy ass reason, in a pretty good match, and we had another Hurricane siting. Pretty good show all in all, although I would prefer another match as opposed to Abe Washingtons segment, weekly.

1. The Bella twins should not wrestle period. I've forgotten Katie was on ECW and she gets jobbed out to those two. I wonder if Brie or Nikki slipping off the apron was a botch or planned but I laughed shamelessly nonetheless.

2. Yoshi vs. Shelton was a decent match that went on longer than expected. Pretty good offense from both sides but the crowd wasn't into it which could be mainly because of Benjamin but we'll see when Yoshi faces somebody else.

3. I decided to give Abraham Washington a chance after last week but I can't stand him now. He has charisma but it looks like he tries too hard and Tommy Dreamer was actually funnier than him.

4. Why is the hell is Kozlov smiling? I thought he was supposed to be the cold-hearted Russian. Kozlov should have won because it would have been a better story and the crowd would have ate it up. It could have had that Rocky atmosphere but now the fans probably won't care that much because they're not going to turn on Dreamer but that may boo Christian heavily.

Grade: B+

Not a bad show by any means, but not particularly thrilling either.

The opening match with Yoshi and Regal was solid wrestling action. I've enjoyed what I've seen thus far from Yoshi, but unless he's able to create a distinct personality he isn't going to go anywhere. His music is badass as well.

Ezekiel Jackson squashing a jobber was boring. He's a decent big man, but I don't see very much potential in him.

Goldust vs. Shelton was surprisingly good. Goldust hasn't exactly been known for his in-ring skills the last few years, but he held his own against Shelton in that match. Enjoyable little match. I definitely enjoyed Goldust referencing the electrocution angle from a few years ago after the match. If you're going to use Goldust for comedic relief, atleast use material that's actually funny.

Burchill and Reks was interesting. One week Burchill is a jobber, the next he's supposed to be a threat again? Make up your minds WWE. Reks was average, not enough time yet to really rightfully judge him.

The final segment with Dreamer, Christian & Washington was great stuff. I love the chemistry between Dreamer & Christian, both of them are great on the mic and can really sell you a match as a real bonafide story. I really hope they don't go all out and turn Christian completely heel though. He works great as a tweener, and is one of the few people actually capable of pulling that status off.

Overall, I'd give the show a
B

Meh episode of ECW tonight. Maybe im just not a fan of this round of talent iniative.

Im just. Not really diggin Tatsu. Seems like a waste of time. I just cant bring myself to belive that guy will ever be anything to be taken seriously. Regal didnt even do his "suplex you onto your bitch ass face" move he always does. Sloppy finish too. Tatsu's theme music is garbage.

Ezekial Jackson is straight up one of my favorite wrestlers currently LOL. I was leaping gleefully when that rap music hit. THIS GUY HAS EVERY THING. EVERY thing. If he wants to work, he could be whatever they want him to be. Has one of the best overall looks in the WWE. He only knowz three movez. Oh well. Look at the motherfucker. He only NEEDS three moves. I thought they would wait a while longer before the hinst at a showdown with Kozlov though. Shit, isnt this just the second or third week Zeke has even been on TV? I also thought it was funny that WWE was seemingly trying to book Kozlov as the face, and the crowd was having absolutely none of it. It took them about 0.3 seconds to start up a "USA" chant, backing Jackson.

I spoke about Tyler Reks in the thread about him. Katie Lea looking unearthly hot tonight. Goodness gracious. I would hit that so hard, if you were able to pull me out, you would become the king of England.

Decent promo at the end. I love Washington, the guy seriously seems to know exactly what he is doing.

Decent episode, they have but on far better.

Yoshi vs Regal: I just can't get into Yoshi at all. His music is garbage & the finish of the match left a lot to be desired.

Big Zeke vs Jobber 2000: Ezekiel Jackson is one of my favorite talents on that roster. He's fuckin huge, he does well with what he has & his overall look is without a doubt one of the best in the WWE. I'm interested in seein how they are gonna be playin out the whole thing between him & Kozlov.

Goldust vs Shelton: Man this match was good. Goldust held his own with Shelton & I like the false finishes in the matches as it makes it more exciting in my opinion. I liked the interraction with him & Burchill to where he was doin his electrocution thing & lightly hits Burchill in the mouth. That right there was just funny.

Paul Burchill vs Reks:Meh Reks looked abit average to me, but then again he hasn't really had alot of time yet so we'll see how it goes with him. I honestly don't know what the hell the direction is for Burchill's character. I mean one week he's a straight up jobber & this week he's a threat. WWE hsould make up their fuckin minds with the direction of his character. Also to note, Katie Lea looked really hot tonight. Good fuckin god. I'd hit that shit up real hard. My god she's hot.

Abraham Washington show: I liked the chemistry between Christian & Tommy Dreamer as they gel really well together, both are good on the mic & both can tell a real good story together as well. I hope they keep Christian as a tweener & not turn him fully heel cause he's one of the few stars who can truly play the tweener role perfectly.

Decent show, but i've seen worse shows before in my life.

Alright, this was one of the best episodes of ECW, and of wrestling TV in general, in a long time, and further proves that ECW is the show in wrestling today.

Opening Promo: Abraham Washington Show w/ Zack Ryder and Shelton Benjamin - Maybe I'm just a crazy mark but I was in love with this segment. From Washington's opening talk, to his banter with Ryder, to their mutual dissing of Benjamin, to the Benjamin appearance and face turn, to the three way banter, to the singing contest, to the final attack - all awesome. Washington continues to prove he's the best young guy on the mic in the talent initiative, Ryder shows he has the ability to cut an extended promo, and Shelton gets a good face reaction. Awesome delivery by everyone here, and the perfect blend of humor and drama. One of the best show openers in a long, long while. 9.5/10

Match #1: Ezekiel Jackson vs Danni Danger: Typical squash match we're used to seeing. Backbreakers, punt, finisher, over. Zeke looks dominant and badass, and gets a good reaction. Koslov joins him after the match and beats up poor Danni Danger, to which Zeke responds with another finisher on Danger. This is an interesting way to build the angle between these two and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. A good match/segment that built Zeke and his feud well. 6.5/10

Side Note: Hurricane makes a full fledged appearance with long camera shot, Harthan marks the smurf out.

Match #2: Sheamus vs Goldust A decent match here that serviced to get Sheamus over without Goldust looking like a complete jobber, and apparently fuel a feud for these two. Mildly interested in where it goes. Goldust is proving he knows how to make a guy look good, and this was a decent little match. Nothing special, but it was worthwhile. 5.5/10

Match #3/Hot Dog Eating Contest #1: Christian vs Tommy Dreamer for the ECW Championship: An awesome hardcore contest here. It's not as hardcore as it could/should have been - the lack of tables and blood drags it down, but they beat the hell out of each other with some cool stuff. There were some nice spots (the pump handle with the Singapore cane and the trash can/kendo stick thing stick out), and Dreamer eating a hot dog mid match was just hilarious. I started chanting "Fatty Dreamer" to myself. Great times. A good finish with an Unprettier on a car door of all things to end a great contest for the ECW title that I assume wraps up this feud. 8/10

Wrap Up: Fantastic episode of ECW. An amazing opening promo, two worthwhile matches/segments, a Hurricane warning, and a great, exciting main event make for one of the best ECWs in a good while. 8.5/10

Opening Promo: Abraham Washington Show w/ Zack Ryder and Shelton Benjamin -
Washington voices annoys the fuck out of me. Benjamin is terrible on the mic still. Ryder was the best part of this entire segment, but this thing went on for far to long. Hopefully it will lead to a decent match between Benjamin and Ryder.

Match #1: Ezekiel Jackson vs Danni Danger:
I love that he's being built up to be a monster, but could we get a change to the formula? Are him and Vladamir going to join up as a dominate tag team or are they going to keep stroking each others cocks week end and week out?

Side Note: Hurricane...we know hes back, how about we see him back in the ring?

Match #2: Sheamus vs Goldust
Basic build up match and the only reason Goldust was sent to ECW was so he could put over and work with the younger guys because he's a vet, that won't accomplish anything meaningful for the rest of his time in Pro-Wrestling. Sheamus is impressive

Match #3: Christian vs Tommy Dreamer for the ECW Championship:
I've seen enough WWE garbage between Raw and the first segment of ECW, so I'm going to skip this match completely, because these two people bore the shit out of me.

Wrap Up: more of the same, CRAP

-What has happened to ECW? Where's Regal? I was literally in pain watching that Abraham Washington opening segment. It was that bad. Washington has charisma but so far he sucks, Benjamin is a fantastic wrestler but cant talk, and Zack Ryder is horrible. That was one of the worst things I ever experienced while watching wrestling. I was embarrassed for everyone.

-The Ezekiel Jackson squash match was ok but he needs new ring attire and a gimmick. I say he should turned into an anti white and pro black ppl kind of character. Something like Farooq from back in the Nation. I would kill to see that.

-Helms should drop the Hurricane act and go back to being Gregory Helms.

-Sheamus needs a tan and Goldust is actually being booked to look like a legit competitor?!?! I was stunned.

-Didn't see the Christian and Dreamer match but I cant wait for christian to turn heel.

Abraham Washington show was decent in my perspective, it was funny, but they definitely overused smurfs. that was every other word in that segment.
Tired of Jackson and Koslov it is getting so boring and old already
Cant wait for Helms to be the hurricane again
Sheamus is getting stale already
Christian vs Dreamer was awesome though great fight

Abraham Washington Segment: God awful as always, at least the guy is getting heat and telling better jokes but they're still bad. Promo gone bad, Ryder and Benjamin got a pretty good reaction until they started singing. Hence.. This is Boring... chants. Ezekial Jackson beats another jobber, and another contest of one upmanship with Koslov. Boring. Yes we know The Hurricane is back let him wrestle.. the effect has worn off now. If he would of debuted out of nowhere a few weeks ago, he would of got a huge pop. I think now people are sick of seeing him do the same thing though. Sheamus and Goldust was decent but I don't buy Sheamus' accent at all. Christian vs Dreamer was a decent match for PG, lets hope they don't have any more together.

I thought ECW was pretty good yesterday. The Washington show started off a little shaky and akward as usual, but by the end the crowd was really into it. Ryder is freakin' awesome and should get as much mic time as possible. Even Shelton wasn't horrible, maybe his face turn will actually result in a push that leads to something.

Big Zeke is sweet! His music is amazing and his look is fantastic, simply put he's a beast. The buildup for him and Koslov has been really good, I'm hoping they can have a proper match sometime soon.

Sheamus v. Goldust was ok, but not as good as their previous match. I think Sheamus probably should have won with his finisher, but it was still a decent match.

Christian v. Dreamer was just as good as I expected it. Some innovative spots and it really made both guys look strong. The WWE needs more hardcore matches. I loved the ending with the car door, awesome.

Overall, really good episode of ECW I'll give it an 8/10
