[Official] Discussion For Aces And Eights Leader

I wouldn't know who Bob and Janice Carter were if I passed them on the streets so no this is NOT a good idea. I could see it now, ending of a PPV they whip off the masks to reveal Bob and Janice and you hear birds chirping and pins dropping.

yep, i agree. the only knowledge of Janice is a weapon Abyss use to carry around with him (a board with nails in it that he couldnt be hit with or it would kill someone). if the reveal of Aces and Eights was Janice and Bob and they never were seen on TV, the reveal would be silent and in a way of "who is this" reveal, not a good reveal. if we knew who they were and they were great, then sure, but no one knows who they are, including me. i didnt even know her parents names until you just mentioned it. as for a woman helping, i wouldnt have that, maybe have a woman manage the leader if the leader is who i think it is. also, i hope Abyss isnt in Aces and Eights, i actually kinda like the Joesph Park character.

How about Abyss as the leader of Aces and Eights... But not Chris Parks playing him. It's fairly easy to get another big wrestler to get Abyss' moves down. The mask and hooded jackets would make it look even more realistic...

Then we could get Joseph Parks vs Abyss somewhere down the line...

I haven't really seen this talked about, unless it has and I haven't noticed it. but what are the thoughts of Bully Ray still being involved with Aces/Eights? it would seem unlikely, as he fought against Aces/Eights at BFG, and at least seemed shocked that Devon was involved. but I think about how this past Impact ended. it was Devon vs Sting, and as expected multiple members of Aces/Eights got involved. then there were members of TNA come out to help Sting, except Bully was not there at first. Bully didn't come out until after a few minutes, and when Bully did come out with the black baseball bat, all the members of Aces/Eights left the ring. now maybe that's just because Bully had the bat. but it's still interesting that Bully did not come out right away with the other members of TNA.

well after last night's impact one thing is obvious.... Wes Briscoe is NOT a member of Ace's and Eights. At least not the member we all assumed he was. At the end of Impact, when Angle was getting beat down by A&E, Wes Briscoe ran up with Garrett Bishoff and got them to bail. In that time, the guy we THOUGHT was Wes all along and Wes himself were standing side by side....

By the way, after watching the Gut Check promo. How about Joey Matthews as one of the masked guys. TNA has him under contract and could be an interesting storyline since York and Matthews worked in TNA together 10 years ago. Matthews masked character could attack York during the decision time or something like that.

As for the original purpose of this thread, I still think JJ will end up as being the leader.

I wondered about this last night too, since Briscoe was one of the first guys to try and help Angle. I rewound the last segment on my DVR, and looked for the A&8 member with the long hair (sticking out of his mask). I didn't see him in the group that attacked Angle, though. Are you sure you saw him? I thought that was just another swerve, like Wes was just trying to make himself seem like he wasn't part of the group, by not being one of the guys who attacked Angle. Either way, Wes Briscoe will probably end up playing a part in all of this (eventually, if he's not already).

I still believe Bischoff will ultimately be the guy behind it all, but who knows. The guy that Devon called the "VP" last night had all his skin covered, so we don't even know if he's white or black, etc. All the other members in that segment (the one where they threw the dart at the board) had some of their skin visible, so we could see that they were white. I'm thinking that the "VP" might very well end up being D-Lo or something, since all of his skin was covered up. It's not like TNA would make it obvious, by showing the "VP"s skin color, either. I dunno, it just seemed worth pointing out as well.

Hey guys, new here.

Just wanted to throw something out there.

I don't believe Wes Briscoe is a member of Aces & 8s at all.

If you look back to the tag match between Bully & Sting at BFG, the guy with the long gair spat at Parks and you can see that he had a thick goatee. No way Briscoe could have grown it that quick.

I say that he is Jay Bradley, the former Ryan Braddock from WWE.

Power Uti, the guy has never had a run in any American promotion.

But seriously I think that it'll be Jeff Jarrett. He's not been around for a while and it just seems like a TNA type thing to do. It also seems quite logical as he lost control of the company and will be using Aces and Eights to get back at TNA.
