[Official] ChiHawks David Thread

48.7 you rule man. I'll keep the avatar, Punk rules. Give me a year and a half. I'll get a job calling Oregon football or baseball. I would say vote Razorback, I have flashes of brilliance, but that is usually just once or twice every 50 posts. But Razorback is more consistent. And I have no clue where he went.

I miss him so much. So much.

You have no idea how much pleasure I would get, or how much I would pleasure myself, if you called Oregon football games, David.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

That is some good stuff 48.7. If I don't make anything for Chicago sports, I'll definitely look towards Oregon.

My oldest brother went right after high school yeah. School wasn't his thing. I think my other brother did too, but I don't know. I don't talk to him a whole lot though so I'm not entirely sure.

That is the one that I don't talk to much. But I saw him at my grandpa's funeral in June. He said he enjoyed it though. Plus it was how he met his wife in San Diego.

Actually, yeah. This really came out of no where. I never seriously considered it until this week, but I think about it all the time now. I want to talk to a recruiter sometime, and see what my options are for the delayed entry program, and if I can get into that next summer. I'm pretty pumped about this all.

How old are you 48.7?

Eleven.

No, just kidding. I'm 16.

The Marine Corps Delayed Entry Program (DEP) allows young men and women to commit to becoming Marines even though they may not begin recruit training for up to a year.

In the time between signing their contract and beginning recruit training, they will start to develop a sense of brotherhood through family nights, organized sports and other events.

They will also prepare for the challenges of recruit training. Marine Corps Recruiters will help them prepare physically, and will provide information to help them adjust to their future in the Marine Corps.

The DEP ensures that all future Marines will report to recruit training ready, both physically and mentally.

I obviously couldn't do that just now, but I want to see what my options are.
