It is going to be Foley... no question now.. he will use the "I was watching while I was bored on TNA cos Hulk and Bischoff weren't using me" gimmick.. sad but true... best thing would be to bring him in with some one like Zack Ryder... and say "and...while I was watching, I was also watching this guy when no one else was..." make him manager for the most dorky, dude loveesque character in 10 years!

I think that we are very close to seeing the end of the Annonymous Raw GM. Now some would say why? This is simply because of the following three reasons which actually make a great amount of sense.

Nexus Factor

The original reasoning for being annonymous was to hide from the Nexus however the Nexus has disbanded and changed into New Nexus who seem to have no intent on harming the general manager. So the question is why remain annonymous when you are no longer in danger. And considering that New Nexus has title belts so they have no reason to really complain. And now since the GM really has no risk factors he could come out of his magical area where he makes his decisions.

Michael Cole Factor

Now part of me feels that they used the GM the way they did to get Cole slowly over as a heel. Cole was the "Voice of the WWE," which set him up being a major heel. Now I understand that this was not the original reason for it, however it seemed to become the reason for it later on the GM's tenure. However now that Cole has been humbled we have no need for him to be pushed incredibly as a heel. He is a commentator once again and I think that this kind of gives the General Manager no purpose once again.

Current Raw Factor

Two weeks in a row without having a Raw GM. Last week we had GM Stone Cold, and this week we have power to the people. Hmm, coincidence maybe however maybe its the start of something new. I mean we did see the arrival of Nexus at the last Viewer's Choice so I guess anything could happen. However we say the General Manager computer get totally mutilated by Stone Cold so could we did we see the final ending of the GM. Personally I think so.

I really hope you're right. This anonymous gm angle has run it's course a long time ago. One would think even the casual fans are annoyed. With Mick Foley being officially released by TNA, and Vince and Mick being on good terms, I think he may be a perfect candidate to pick up the role as Raw gm. Two babyface gm's can get boring though, I think Teddy Long is more suited for the heel gm role.

Hmmmmm. I think your right the GM is going to be revealed in a storyline with Truth. THink about it.....Truth is playing the conspiracy by WWE and he going to blame the GM. I honestly dont think anybody could be a surprise unless of coarse Shane O Mac makes a return to the company as an on air GM. Shane was always entertaining and willing to take some bumps. If he came back I would like to see him in a GM type role.

mike adamle is the gm! hah yeah rite. id rather have an annonymous gm. i dont think there is a real gm. or even real emails! but god i hope they reveal somebody to be the gm and i hope after months of enduring this that wwe doesnt fuck it up by having someone like d-lo brown

Yes you have a point here, and the point is that the GM better not suck. I think people have generally come to terms how nobody was actually sending the emails and nobody actually was the GM however part of me feels that it is all about to change. If you want an idea of who I believe it would make the most sense to be, it would be Triple H. I think that since he is in theory part of the McMahon family he will get the GM spot for a bit until Vince runs a storyline removing him.

The co-GMs are Stephanie and Triple H. The story is that they've been running the show since last year. Nothing else would make sense.

Who else would say "I never liked Bret Hart and would NEVER want to see him wrestle again."???

Then again, WWE hates making sense so it could even be Bret himself.

I think WWE has kept it so long, well I say think I'm pretty sure the majority would say they knew this, is because there was no one who would fit the role. I wouldn't be surprised if now Foley's free he took the role. He's done it before and he could easily do it again. Sure it wouldn't make sense if you watch TNA and knew he was working there but most WWE fans don't and seeing as the WWE doesn't acknowledge their existence it would be no problem for them to put him in the role.

The other obvious option is Stephanie, I don't think they'll put HHH in the role but I don't really have a reason for that just a gut feeling. You can put Stephanie in there and then just have her usual Hunter at various times.

Firstly you should know that Finlay got fired from the WWE entirely. He got blamed for planning an interruption during the star spangled banner when there were army troops in attendance. So he WILL not be a Raw GM.

I still believe the most logical choice is having Triple H as the GM considering he is a McMahon who needs to do it, as well as he could be on T.V without having to wrestle which is a win.

General Manager has a knack of siding with the heels, for the fact that when Mick Foley has been a heel in the past hes usually played a sick, twisted and voilent one, and with that not corresponding with the whole PG thing, I don't personally think it's Mick.

My assumption still, is that it's either Triple H, Stephanie McMahon or for some reason, I keep assuming this, but Kevin Nash?!

Frankly, I'm sick of the whole anonymous GM things as well. I have no true idea who it is, but I would think that it's Stephanie McMahon. Don't ask why, but I actually liked her as GM.

He said FOLEY not FINLAY, sorry.....I just couldn't let that go un-corrected.

I think it's obvious WWE has no idea who the GM is supposed to be.

i do believe that the "annonymous GM" angle is coming to and end. and i agree it will be revealed by r-truth. BUT.... it will be vince mcmahon. for a few reasons. first off vince is gearing up to make a final character run on tv before he hands over the company to steph and triple h. second, did any one pay attention to what cole said on this weeks raw during one of the last emails? his exact words towards the end before scsa demolished the laptop were "scsa i put you in charge this week but next week i will be back" they key words in that was "i put you in charge" and WHO is the one that made scsa guest GM? Vince mcmahon himself during a r truth segment. i believe that segment was the beginning of the end of the annonymous gm. and as far as who else would say something like "i never liked bret and i dont ever care to see him wrestle again" i can think of a few such as hbk, triple h, cole, maybe even foley, but i remember vince getting pissed when he was "forced" to make bret the gm, and so kicking him out of raw the way he did was his way of getting him back for that. so mark my words we will see the end of the annonymous gm being revealed as VKM to have a last run as an on air character before giving up the reigns to the company when triple h beats vince at wrestlemania 29 for 50/50 control over the company with steph and shane turning on vince at the last second while she is the guest ref and shane is vinces manager for the match. :)

What about Chris Jericho? Seriously! What about Paul Heyman or as a joke the Ultimate Warrior? lol

Jericho as GM maybe, that would be cool but i don't think its him. Heyman, been there done that already. Could be cool but i don,t see heyman returning to WWE. As for Ultimate Warrior, well lets just say the day that Warrior sets foot in WWE is the day that hell will have frozen over.

Jericho can't be. He was in the ring when the GM was screwing with him. Same with Edge. So no Edge. Also why would you want Y2J to come back as a Heel AGAIN? we have too many heels on RAW right now. The GM is going to be a McMahon. I count HHH as a McMahon for the record. I would LOVE to see Steph on TV again. That chick is sexy, but HHH sounds like a more logical choice. Gets him out of the ring, but on TV. Then later on he can loose a match to someone and have to give up Power. Wait.. Wasn't this done before? there was a "Higher Power" calling all the shots.. The orders were given through one man.. Was revealed to be a Mcmahon.. Hmm.

Quite Frankly Ive had enough of it myself and i think if the WWE do decide to announce the Raw General Manager it would be a way to have Chris Jericho return. I know this is not the obvious choice but i did notice on raw this week the WWE aired somebody holding a sign for Y2J with a message at the end that i can't remember and i think that if he wasn't going to return to the WWE soon they wouldn't of shown the sign.

I think we all know that the reason they have had it anonymous is because they couldn't find a good enough gm to hire so they made them anonymous to wait for somebody else to come along and the WWE have made there business by doing the impossible. so it could be Y2J Chris Jericho the WWE could pull it off with some ridiculous excuse as to how he had the messages sent while he was talking.

The whole anonymous GM gimmick ran it's course a longtime ago. It's gone on way too long, to ever be revealed in my opinion. Pretty much no one they could reveal it to be, would live up to the hype at this point. I do think the anonymous GM will be replaced/fired very soon.

It seems many are hoping for it to be Foley. I wouldn't mind seeing it be him either or another big name like HBK. HBK is a long shot, but he does have a new show he could promote it while he's on air. Baby face GM's other than Teddie Long don't usually last long.

The anonymous gm has gone on way too long. I figured it would have been revealed by wrestlemania. Imo it should had been a storyline associated with the the show where we all finally got to see who the raw gm was. But once again they failed. We, as fans, want it to be a huge surprise, but unfortunetly it will be lackluster. It will prolly be someone who we have seen too many times, 99.9% sure it has to be a heelish type character. So its either gonna be a mcmahon/hhh, or a hall of famer/old school wrestler we haven't seen on air much just to throw a wrench and awwwwww factor at us. Seeing how vince has had some unexpecting storylines, ie hornswoggle as a illegimate son, I wouldn't be one bit surprised if the gm was brother love, the reverand slick, or havery whippleman, or the brooklyn brawler.

I have always, and still feel that it is Michael Cole........but man do i hope im wrong.

Bringing in Foley would be fine with me, but only if they clear up who the anonymous GM one was first, as the anonymous GM was pretty much a heel.

First I thought about Shawn Michaels, because of him having a conspiracy against Jericho, or some sort of that.

But he turned o Edge too, and recently on R-Truth, The Miz and has been a friend of Michael Cole, there is no way that the RAW GM could be a face...
I'm thinking about Stephanie or HHH, they are the most logical choice, but WWE can surprise us, it could easily be a former-Diva or a former manager.

My personal thoughts:
  • Jimmy Hart
  • Mick Foley
  • HHH
  • Stephanie

The only real guy that I can see being the GM and amaze everyone is Ric Flair, but this guy is working for TNA, so probably not him.

Based on the remarks made by the GM when Bret Hart was around "Bret I really never liked you" I thought, and still think it should be Triple H. He could stay on TV but not wrestle and still run things

One big problem I see with HHH being the GM -- is WWE interested in HHH being a heel? At this point in his career? If so, I haven't seen any indication of that.

And make no mistake -- the GM is a heel. Maybe he's not supposed to be, completely, but he is. This person should be someone Vinny is comfortable with drawing a lot of heat, because that's what's going to happen.

I think the AM GM angle is almost over. I could see the AM quitting soon leaving way for someone new to come in fresh or for Vince to return as the boss or the AM finally revealing himself because he feels he needs. Like this past week proved all someone needs to do is destroy the laptop and the GM loses his power. We will have 2 weeks where the AM is not in charge which I think will lead to either the GM quitting sayig he is tired of being disrespected or he annouces he will be at Raw Live "next week". Either way now is the time to end the AM GM angle.

We're going to see the triumphant return of LORD STEVEN REGAL! But actually William Regal. He screwed himself out of it before but was AWESOME as the GM. Let him be the GM and call it a day. Plus he plays the tweener role PERFECTLY!
