I hope everyone had a good Christmas, and I'm sure I'll hear all about them at some point in the next few days . Are you all okay?

Becca was in a bad mood because of the stupid sexist thread, which kept getting re-opened and stickied. So she just deleted it.

But nothing can get her in a bad mood when she's going to rugby in just a couple of hours. Sat here in my amazing new Leeds shirt, cannot wait.

You used to play rugby? League or Union?

I'll be watching today. I gave up playing at the end of last season, my final game was us winning the championship for the second year running. Now I'm classed as a player, but I'm more of a coach, and I haven't been in a game since then. It's the Rhinos Festive Challenge they have every Boxing Day, to tide us over until February, because October until February is a long time to go without my 2nd biggest love in life.

I just played with a bunch of friends...We used to play "Smear the Queer", which is basically "Kill the guy with the football", and we decided that if we're going to hurt each other, we might as well play a game with soem rules...

We sucked, but it was fun

We know what it is, and respect it, and we started playing, in hopes of playing a serious game...BUT, there'd always be 3 or 4 kids that would show up, that no one liked, and it turned in to us giving them the ball, just so we could pummel them...

Maybe 1 or 2 scores the whole game...And, we'd play for hours...

We know what it is, and respect it, and we started playing, in hopes of playing a serious game...BUT, there'd always be 3 or 4 kids that would show up, that no one liked, and it turned in to us giving them the ball, just so we could pummel them...

Maybe 1 or 2 scores the whole game...And, we'd play for hours...

Aw that sounds like those days when you're a kid and you don't care about who wins, but you're just playing for fun.

We definitely cared about who won...There'd be no score until we realized someone had to leave...So, we'd race for a score, and there'd be a few times where there was none, and we'd just leave in a tie...

We did the same thing with hockey...And, kickball...

It's amazing how brutal you can make an innocent playground game...

But they obviously weren't serious. If you chose to look at it in a different light, you probably would have found it entertaining. If people went about saying how they'd like to beat women up to show dominance, then it would be too far.

I'm sadly disappointed. I come back and the talk has gone to Rugby...lol. I mean, honestly, I have NO idea what the rules are or how the game is played, but it really does look like a game we all played growing up called "Smear the Queer". Whoever had the bad, got piled onto with a vengeance, and he'd throw the ball as far away as possible... Too bad we didn't organize it better...haha. SMEAR THE QUEER....WITH TEAMS!! We did quite well today, to say our academy was playing Wakefields First team. Lost, obviously, but it was closer than expected. And it's really got me in the mood for rugby again. I LOVE the atmosphere, I've lost my voice and that was only for the academy. February can't come quick enough.
