That advice is very cliched. I myself refrain from using it when people take offence to my 'bitching'. You can't just tell someone to 'deal with it'. What does that even mean? Are you telling them to accept it? They obviously don't want to accept it and there's no way of avoiding it. So they have a right to speak their mind about it.
