Now Our Tears Have Dried Up, What Does Bryan Actually Do At Mania?

Given the rumours are for a Bryan vs Sheamus match, and IF Cena is going to fight Rusev for the US title... then it would be interesting if as another thread had it, Bryan fights for the IC title.

Have Bad News Barrett defend the IC title vs Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose in a Fatal 4-Way match at Mania.

IF the Undertaker isn't ready for Mania, then I guess Bryan vs Bray Wyatt happens again. Wasnt a bad match at Rumble 2014, so it could be interesting again, and given Bryan's overness, it could work out quite well, lMO.

Ideally:
Lesnar vs Reigns for the WWE WHC
HHH vs Sting
Bray Wyatt vs the Undertaker
Rollins vs Orton
Rusev vs Cena for the US title
Barrett vs Bryan vs Ambrose vs Ziggler for the IC title
AtG Battle Royal: Sheamus/Ryback wins it, I guess, or someone from NXT
A Divas match

I guess we'll have to wait and see how it shapes up, because the possible Mania card as a whole has loads of potential, lMO.

I actually like the idea of Cena vs Bryan at 'Mania. Both guys lose their matches at Fast Lane and start to question their mojo leading to a match between the two out of frustration in themselves. Bryan wins to kick off Cena's redemption toward his 16th World title by next years show. But that's just me.

Not likely. It would have to be indirectly focused around Rock's family, to include Reigns. That seems to be where they're going with Reigns' story.

Rocky got booed at Mania, and actually looked legit pissed. The Rumble went 'down the drain' when Bryan got dumped early and quite easily... build it on that.

the YES! Movement vs Hollywood Rock at Mania.

Doubt it happens given as you said Reigns' story might need the Rock in it along the way, but if there is a slight possbility of it, then Mania 31 could turn out to be an overall Epic Match Card, lMO.

They'll give him Sheamus knowing that we're going to crap all over it. It's kind of sad that DB doesn't have any really personal feuds in his WWE career to revisit other than with HHH/The Authority. The stuff with Bray was really good but it wasn't personal. The stuff with Punk was good but with him gone that's not possible.

The writing has just been so bad that they haven't had anything get hot enough between two guys that they can always go back to.

According to reports they may have scrapped the Sheamus idea and are putting him with Ziggler, not a bad idea at all if they give them more than ten minutes.

At the very least, they both deserve a good story heading into the show. Ziggler has never had a one on one at Wrestlemania.

So, if they do indeed end up going with Bryan/Ziggler, do either of them play the default heel in the match? Do the crowd side with one, split evenly, or just cheer absolutely every move that happens? Is it for a title, or no? Lots to think about, but regardless, it would totally be an awesome match. Potentially the match of the night.

The only motivation for a Daniel Bryan versus Dolph Ziggler match I can think of is someone pointing out how full of shit Ziggler has been by claiming to have stolen the show for years while Bryan's actually lived the gimmick. Dolph will react to this accusation like he does to everything else: by flopping to the floor like a dead fish.

I always laugh when Ziggler and Bryan are put into the same category. I can handle crowds turning on the show in favor of Daniel Bryan, but if that starts happening when Ziggler loses, the mute button will be seeing a lot more action.

Ziggler is a weird one for me. He shows moments of potential brilliance (Payback 2013 where he made me feel sorry for him, same with his most recent push) and then annoys me (I recall, this guy thinks he's the dogs bollocks, when really he's just bollocks).

That being said, they had a great match at Bragging Rights 2010 and well they're both older, wiser and better so at the very least it should be entertaining...if WWE don't change their minds again.
