Now Our Tears Have Dried Up, What Does Bryan Actually Do At Mania?

Speculate on him being inserted into the Reigns/Lesnar match all you want. At this point another match against Kane seems more likely at Mania than that.

They could do worse than another Cena vs. Bryan match. But I'd put my money on a match against Ambrose. He also doesn't appear to have much on and WWE also don't appear to care about him. Writes itself really.

Bray is in line to face Taker, thats why they've had him dominate a lot lately. Most are saying Shaemus will come back heel and start a feud with him. I def don't see him being involved in the title match this year, they won't do that again. They just made the mistake of not letting him last til the end of the Rumble, I never figured he would win it anyways. More than likely he'll face Shaemus or have him win the AtG Battle Royal.

They'll probably have him beat Sheamus in 17 seconds to return the favor from a couple years ago.

The next night, the smarks will be chanting Fella Fella Fella instead of Yes Yes Yes.

Considering his popularity he should at least have a prominent match on the card. At this point the best thing to do is grab Cena, Bryan, Ambrose and Rollins and make 2 matches out of those 4 guys.

Bray and Undertaker, really? Is that like a Taker and Sting "hurhur they're vaguely similar lets shove them in the ring together"?

See Wyatt's reaction after dumping Bryan out the rumble? I'll buy that he's facing Taker at WrestleMania only if he faces Bryan at Fast Lane.

*Now to sit and wait with that nervous trepidation after announcing that I know better than everyone else

Purely a fantasy, but it'd be amazing to see him lure Shawn Michaels out of retirement. Barring that, nothing really sounds good enough anymore.

Na, this isn't 100% fantasy shit like Taker/Sting, there were actual reports saying that if Taker could go, Wyatt would be the guy this year. It could be interesting I guess.

I think they're going the Wyatt route, but I hope not.

I'd pick Rollins at this point. He stole the show at the Rumble, give him and Bryan the chance to steal the show at 'Mania. Maybe put the MITB contract on the line.

A report came out that it will be Sheamus, with the Irish fella playing the heel role. I loved their match at Extreme Rules, so I'm all for it. I would Ambrose vs. Bryan as well, or Bryan vs. Ziggler for the IC Title. Pretty much anything they give Bryan, I'll probably dig. He's that good of a worker.

Someone in some other post elsewhere, mentioned that Bryan is so over, that putting him in the Main Event again isn't needed. I kind of agree with that.

Now, they can have Bryan in another match on the card which will generate guaranteed interest going into Mania. I would have loved Cena vs Bryan to happen again, but I'd settle for Bryan vs Wyatt or even have Ambrose turn heel to face Bryan for some reason... Sheamus vs Bryan has to be a throwoff yet again, that would be huge waste, lMO.

I think that they are leaving the door open for Bray/Bryan just in case Taker can't go, but if Taker shows up then he gets Wyatt.

Put me in the camp that wants to see Bryan/Rollins, the one problem being that I expect Orton to be Rollins' opponent. Leaving Bryan with god knows who, but someone clearly miles below his level.

And PLEASE GOD don't let it be Sheamus again, as long as Vince wants to cite overkill, Bryan vs. Sheamus at Mania for the third fucking time already after it was rumored again last year as well, is the very definition of overkill.

Perhaps with Ziggler's recent comments the plan is for the WWE to just throw all of the top faces that the crowd wants to see(DB, Dolph, and Ambrose maybe?) into a match with each other just to troll the crowd further by giving them less to root for on the rest of the card.

Rollins, I guess.

Edit: Sheamus is obviously a step down but, as we saw at Extreme Rules 2011, they're capable of some ludicrously good wrestling. Have they really faced each other twice at WrestleMania? They had a dark match that ended in a non-finish and the next year Sheamus kicked Bryan in the face and that was the match. Sheamus as a management "golden boy" against Bryan isn't a bad idea. The bad idea is giving your most popular wrestler less attention at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view than the year before when everybody went apeshit.

You know what, I hope they do Sheamus/Bryan because that is such a waste of a superstar thats red hot that the crowd will let them know.

They might just let them know throughout the night. Sometimes WWE needs a kick up the nads.

Wyatt is my preffered candidate, if only because I think it's the most natural story. Rollins would no doubt steal the show with D-Bry. Sheamus is a step down for sure, and not exactly who I would pick, but it'd be fun to watch for sure...as long as they get the time.

If Taker can't go it's gonna be Bray. If not then it'll be Sheamus as Orton can only be held off so long and when he returns they'll drag out that Rollins feud towards Mania.

I'd do Bryan vs Barrett for the IC Title. Give Bryan the win, it boosts the IC Title way up and give Barrett a good showing and he's boosted up as well. It would allow Barrett to get over as a heel without getting face reactions from the smarks. They also have history from the Nexus days to build off of a little.

I suppose you could throw Barrett into the Authority angle as well but I'd like him to get over as a heel without it, but it would make sense.

Main event of bust. Whoever else he faces, he'll be the most over guy on the card, only furthering the question as to why he's NOT in the main event meaning it doesn't really matter.

Therefore, Rollins I guess.

I think Barrett will be fed to Ziggler as once again their lack of direction for him and sticking him with a mid-card title will keep him on the back-burner until he gets injured again.

Eh it's more wishful thinking than anything. I like Barrett and still think he has potential as an upper-mid occasional main event fodder heel. His stock is definitely way low and other guys are passing him continuously though.

If WWE isn't going to make Bryan their #1 guy, they should at least use him to build up some heels, elevate lower titles and put over faces. Like Jericho the few years before and after his suit heel faze. High profile feuds mixed with occasional title shots and feuds with talents a few levels lower than him.

I'd love to see a situation where Rollins is forced to defend his Money In The Bank contract in a MITB match at Mania. Let Bryan win. Let Lesnar win in some jacked up fashion and Bryan cashes in.

Not really. Just give him Sheamus.
