NorCal's Podcast

I believe your exact words were, "No, no, no, no, NO!"

Good man.

"I didn't write for an e-fed because I have a fucking... LIFE."

Way to alienate your audience, Norcs.

I'm at work right now so can't do a list or anything but, for now, I'll just say, overall: I immensely enjoyed it.

How do they pay for all those iPPVs?

ROH doesn't do iPPVs anymore!!!

Apparently they still can't figure out how to live stream something over the internet without running into tons of buffering issues, despite the fact that every other indie (most of which are smaller & make significantly less money than ROH) on the planet has figured it out.

Episodes 3 and 4 coming this weekend with NorCal and I doing an Extreme Rules preview tomorrow night and an Extreme Rules fallout show almost immediately after the show goes off the air to be posted soon thereafter.

I tweeted a link out to RVDGurl, she would be a good person to have on if you ever wanted to cover ROH & other indie stuff, assuming you could get her.

Um, spoilers about the women's match:

Was Charlotte not technically pinning Bayley simultaneously? Or so all the times I've seen the shoulders get counted on a figure four would have me believe.

Elsewhere, the CJ Parker Farewell Tour continues.

That Benoit match is not Raven's best match ever imo. It's a good match but Raven got his ass kicked the whole time. I'd say his match with Saturn at Fall Brawl 98 is much better.

I also finally got around to listening to the Ty Burna episode this morning. Ty my friend, you do have a bit of that awesome North Dakota accent, but it's nowhere near as heavy as Fargo portrays. But it's there ;)

Anyway, I really dug the show. The opening would have been much better if Raw didn't suck this past week and actually gave Norcs some good stuff to talk about, although his rant on people hyping up the RKO was great (especially when pointing out WWE is a year behind the times with that meme).

And the football stuff was fantastic. Both of you are as knowledgeable on the subject as any sports talk radio I listen to, which hasn't been much since the Saints Bountygate stuff happened and nearly everyone in sports media burnt their bridge with me, lol, but still... even when I listened to a lot of sports talk radio, their knowledge wasn't above par than what you two showed in this episode. I was very impressed and enjoyed it thoroughly. It also got me amped up for the draft too, which I totally forgot was in a week.

Speaking of offending my audience, im shocked no one has commented on the Dolph Ziggler exchange Ty and I had. It was a heater, for sure.

Perhaps people care just that little for DZ

I've actually been starting to come around on him a little bit these days. His stuff with Sheamus has been surprisingly tolerable.

You should've heard me when I'd be drinking with my friend Linden while he was up here. He was from New Orleans and my Midwest accent would start slipping badly into mimicking his accent and the slang would start getting heavy. For whatever reason I have this impeccable ability to switch my speaking style and accent to match whomever I'm speaking to.

It's why you could hear my customer service voice, and then I suddenly start talking with a street mentality and slang, and followed up with a faux cajun accent if my friend is around.
