NorCal answers Wrestling (and all other) questions!

Rollins is basically out of options by this point, and Cena could do an awesome job with the young heel talent the WWE has while being a dependable lynchpin champion while people continue to progress and develop.

Rollins is only out of options, because the WWE doesn't know what the hell they're doing with Owens or Cesaro. A triple threat could certainly work. Obviously neither guy would get the belt, but it would be a solid match.

It also makes it easier to vacate the US title in a "place of prestige" and hold a tournament to see a new champion. OR perhaps they simply absorb it into the WHC and go with just two singles belts.

If he vacates it and they have an extremely competitive tournament for it, it doesn't lose much steam at all.

I honestly hadn't thought of them just vacating the title. I don't see why Cena would spend all that time with the open challenges, and then "Eh. I don't need it. Got this fancy new belt." Even with a good tournament/match to crown a new champ, there will be that age old argument of "Well, they never pinned the champ."

Cesaro isn't far enough along, and Owens is too damaged right now. I enjoyed how Cole remarked that Owens is "on fire" right now, amidst his seven match losing streak. I guess he meant on the literal sense. Fuckin' moron.

Same exact way Daniel Bryan did. By saying it deserves to be on someone who is fighting for it regularly. Or have the Authority strip it from him. Easy.

and no one will thing about that person not pinning Cena for it. If the reign is interesting, no one will think about what came before it.

ROH just ME their second biggest PPV of the year with a Winner Take All match pitting their midcard champion vs. their world champion, do you find it kinda odd that WWE seems to be doing the same exact thing on their second biggest show of the year?

Not when that mid-card champion is John Cena.

Plus, as covered, were else does Rollins have to go?

Sting.

I would have Rollins vs. Cena at NoC (Assuming he survives being champ vs Sting), after Cena dropped the US title to either Owens or Cesaro in a triple threat at SSlam.

EH, better used on a B show. No one is buying for a single second that Sting is leaving as champion.

Which would make it entirely titties if he did, even if just to hold it for a week, or 24 hours :lmao:

Considering the parameters with which he is given to work, I'd say he does pretty good :lmao:

Owens' name is certainly hot right now, but anyone paying attention knows that just because he's getting famous, does not mean he is doing well. Shame.

Cesaro may not be far enough along, but they could strike while the iron's hot. Wait...Nevermind. This is WWE.

New shows coming soon!

Going to have Shocky on for a Roddy Piper memorial show, plus another divisional preview with Headlines by NorCal (which will amount to me screaming about how much I fucking hate Kevin Dunn, for the most part)

It's about fuckin' time lol I have a lot of hours to kill in the night, y'know.

Well I have a lovely collection of e-books available.

I just need more of that green stuff that people use to barter for goods and services. Until then, I'll just keep checking out the reviews on your site. I'm also still catching up on Lucha Underground. Finally to the good stuff, and work turns into a madhouse.

Do you like football? If so you'll have a weekly podcast to listen to from yours truly very soon.

Of course I do, and I know you have one coming up lol As a Giants fan though, I'm unsure how to feel about this season. Being they're a traditionally defensive team, I'm not liking the idea of needing to win weekly shootouts. My heart can only take so many 41-35 games.

I was actually at home taking a few days off. I wasn’t at Raw that week but it was funny because I’m sitting down on my couch, flipping through the channels and I was like oh, the main event is on, I’ll check that out. Literally two minutes after I put the match on, Seth just whacked him in the face with that knee. As soon as I saw it, I was like that’s a finish right there. All you have to do is show a replay and that’s as devastating a move as any other ones. He definitely has a new weapon in play but if he tries to throw that knee in my face, I’ll break his knee with my forearm

Not even Roman Reigns can sit through three hours of RAW :lmao:

Speaking of which, how are you feeling about our next project?

I haven't gotten my shit together as much as I would have liked to at this point. Been a wild few weeks. Give me a few more?

Yeah, August is not the best month for me. Between social functions, family visits, trying to write and then a holiday, I don't have a massive amount of free time to prepare and then execute our next outing.

Did we even decide what the topic was going to be?

P-War, Rise of Macedon, Alexander.

Hence the need for time for reading :lmao:
