Nikki Bella?

Ok so I went back and watched a few NXT shows that I missed and over the time I've seen that while Micheal Cole and Josh Matthews are sitting there playing video games on their iPad, Nikki Bella has been showing signs of a heel turn. I'm not sure if WWE has any intent on splitting her up from Brie, but to be honest, I wouldn't mind her being heel.

I mean she's decent in the ring and to top it off, she's actually been working on her in-ring skill, and giving her some depth to her character (her chest nor rear don't need it though) could be something to watch. She's got the build to be a top diva, and with LayCool being on Smackdown, I can see Nikki being brought up through the raw rankings as the top heel diva IF WWE pushes her right.

Anyway what's your opinion on Nikki Bella?

The only thing I can say that I hope to god that it's not gonna be some kind of solo heel turn. The Bella twins are made to be of same alignment to avoid the confusion.

If Nikki turns heel, it's bound to end up in some sort of feud with Brie. And it's bound to be MESSY due to, well them being twins. Brother / long-time friends feuding has hardly ever gone good (Hardy Brothers, Dudleyz being the two prime examples). However, this would both cause inconsistent promos between the two, as well as very very confusing matches between the two.

I can honestly say I have very little care for the Bella twins, and I'm quite honestly feeling that the very fact that they're featured in any sort of storyline purpose outside of being pros in WWE is more or less more boring than it should possibly get.

If that were to happen Brie would either need to go to smackdown, or get cut. Both Bellas are good in the ring though so I wouldn't mind seeing one excel.

They actually did this a while back on ECW,
Some of you may not know because, well, it was ECW.
But they had a short beef that the WWE I guess forgot about.
I would like to see this split, but the only thing is that I have not seen any improvement on their own,
they do pretty well in their tag matches but their single matches on Superstars are pretty meh.
Also, Brie would have to get sent to Smackdown! and one of them would have to cut their hair and get a louder tattoo.

They tried this before when they were in ECW when Nikki tried to turn heel after ECW was cancelled the angle was forgotten and I think that after NXT ends this one will be dropped also. If they do bring it out I do hope that one of the Bellas excels because they are decent compared to many other divas and I do think that a diva tag team has little to no future in WWE sad to say. At least TNA has a knockouts tag title but it means squat there too.

The last thing I would like to see would be either of the Bella twins turn heel while the other one remains face. To have any plausibility whatsoever, and they have very little, they have to remain together. The only reason they were employed by the WWE in the first place, and likely the only reason they are still there, is because they are hot twins, and as such need to stay together. Either they both remain face and stay as they are: eye candy and accessories for the various guest hosts, with the occasional match thrown in for good measure, or they both turn heel, together. The whole sibling feud thing is as stale as can be, if you don't believe me, look at the imminent Team 3D feud, with dissension between the brothers (kayfabe) leading to a program which will be lousy.

Personally, I'd like to see both of the Bella twins turn heel, and exploit their twin thing to their ultimate advantage. I know this is a ridiculous concept, but professional wrestling does ridiculous things all the time, especially concerning divas and knockouts. I thought it was decent a few weeks ago when the Bellas were in a match, and they switched roles in the middle of the match behind the ref's back. Of course this is ludicrous, but this could be exploited into a very heelish act. Whether it be in tag team action, or in a solo match with one Bella while the other is at ringside, this could have potential. I know they sort of did this before right in their beginning stage, but it could be done again. Have an obvious swithch occur in matches, behind the ref's back but obvious to all the fans in attendance or the viewers on TV, so that a heel Bella wins by cheating. They aren't very good wrestlers anyway, so they do need some sort of gimmick to remain relevant. Why not try this, again?

If not, just let them remain as eye candy, as valets or escorts or whatever. Or just release them. But don't turn one of them without the other.

To be honest, I think one of them plays Devil's advocate in relation to the other, not really a heel but just the opposite of the other twin. Thats what its always seemed like to me, when they speak together, when they're each pulling on Daniel Bryan, when we had that whole Miz / Morrison - Carlito / Primo with the Bellas involved thing. They will most likely remain face. But its better if each has their own personality and each being a different person than the other... thats just my take on it.

I've been noticing this too.

Nikki isn't bad in the ring, but her mic skills could be improved a tad. I personallly wouldn't mind seeing The Bella's fued. It's better than having them be arm candy for the guest hosts.

As faces, I find them rather bland. They haven't accomplished much as faces and I think that even if they BOTH turn heel and dominate the division it wouldn't be that bad.

If they were going to fued though with Nikki as the heel, I think that Nikki should get a new look so that we could tell the two apart in the ring. After the fued, Brie would also have to get moved to Smackdown!.

In conclusion, I don't think that Nikki Bella turning heel would do any harm.

They might as well stay together. Breaking them up will do nothing for either of their careers. Why? Because nobody cares about either one of them now so why would anyone care about them as individuals. If they do break up, they will have a match on Raw and it will be awful. Then the feud will be over and we will forget about it. Either way, I won't watch the match. Diva matches are so bad. Thank god for Tivo so I can fast forward through these bad matches.

I think the Bellas (specifically Nikki) are a lot better than people give them credit for. Nikki on NXT has really busted out of her shell and proved that she can get over a character in the ring. Which is something that internetz favorites Beth, Natayla, Melina, and Gail have flat out refused to do. When she makes a hot tag, dammit, she at least runs like she wants to knock someone out. Her moveset is fast paced to show her athleticism. She has a nice corner arm drag.

She's also agile enough to take the various headscissors takedowns, armdrags, whatever that a lot of the divas like to incorporate into their offense. (As evident in that match with AJ)


I think considering that the only real promo time she's has gotten is reading off cue cards for the guest host, this was a really decent promo:

As a heel, I think it could work out. She got a really good "Nikki Sucks" chant on NXT. Not bad considering that most people didn't even know the Bellas had names outside of Bella 1 and Bella 2. I do like the idea of Brie being her sister's conscience. I think it would be easier to get into Brie talking her sister out of doing 'dastardly' things than it would Nikki and Brie fighting. No one wants to see two sisters fight.

I enjoy the bella twins, they are extremely hot and come in a pair (a guy can dream right?). I also don't find them as bad as everyone on here seems to make them out to be. I don't care to much about the divas division or what goes on it (well i am now with natayla the champ and Phoenix returning), but I could see a Nikki heel turn doing good. It would be kind of weird not to see them together though, plus if they both went to singles competition it would be hard to distuingish (sp?) them.

Everyone always complains about watching divas matches, but I doubt the wwe makes them wrestle because they think they are good. They are all just eye candy and a break from the wrestling of the mid card and main events. As for would i like to see Nikki turn and a bellas feud, wouldn't really harm anything considering no one cares for the divas matches. Its not like they would be taking some sort of huge risk that would destroy the wwe lol.

You can't turn one heel without turning the other. They've been dressing alike for so long and perform the exact same moves that it would be difficult to differentiate the difference between the two. They mistakenly tried this years ago when Morrison and Miz were feuding with the Colons, and it failed miserably.

But what I could see is Nikki being turned heel, and her first feud being with Brie. It won't be pretty either, because, well, they're twins! So it would extremely hard to tell the two apart. This has a "made for superstars" feud written all over it, which means it will have little backstory to it whatsoever.

It's going to be hard to get either away from the "Celebrity Guest ****es" mantra that they've rightfully been labeled with. They've been booked to either come out as arm candy or gush over the hosts for so long that taking either of them seriously in a storyline would be very hard to do. They're both decent enough in the ring, but I don't care enough about them to get invested in a mid-card WOMEN'S feud. So its likely a whole lot of nothing, if it ever happens.

I would like Nikki heel but now its Melina turning Heel.

Since Melina is going to be Heel, it will be great to see Nikki go against Melina for the Divas Unify Title.

Why would you split up twins? They are simply there because of their "sex appeal" and that they are twins. If you turn one heel then who are the fans to cheer for? I mean who can tell them apart? I don't think fans will be looking for a small insignificant birthmark on the Bellas to find out which one is heel or face. Their gig is eye candy and celebrity escorts basically. I really don't think anyone cares about their matches or who is heel or face. Twins have never really worked in wrestling as far as matches go. Remember Fake Kane and Fake Undertaker?

How about Fake Diesel and Razor Ramon? Yeah the Nikki turning heel will get about the same reaction as a JTG promo.

A Bella feud is a recipe for disaster.

The thing with them looking different is actually pretty easily taken care of. Make one of them get a haircut or wear drastically different ring attire, and problem solved.

The real problem is the fact that there is no reason I should be interested in watching them wrestle each other other than the fact they are twins, and quite frankly, that's not making it any more compelling than Natty vs. Maryse. They are not that good on the mic, and they are not that good in the ring. Natalya, Beth, LayCool, and Maryse currently make up the group of divas that could be in an interesting feud, with Eve, Alicia, Kelly Kelly, and Melina on the outside looking in, but still occasionally. The rest of the divas are really just there to play valet or get thrown into a match for storyline purposes.

And what have the Bellas even done that warrants a feud being on TV? They were champions, their most memorable moments include jack shit, and their most powerful move is switching places with each other.

The most feud we're going to get out of these two ladies is a feud over Daniel Bryan, in which we might see Nikki with a heel inflection, but not a full heel persona.
