NFL Football LD, 2013/14 Season

I'm excited for this next game.
Hoping it's a good one.
I picked the Seahawks in my pool but I'm rooting for the 49ers anyway.

I wasn't bored at all. That was a masterful performance by Manning, a well deserved playoff win. He doesn't have a losing record in the postseason anymore.

It was a fine game, but now it's time for the main event. I'll be pulling for the Niners; if they hadn't left the Read-Option at home last year in New Orleans they might've completed that comeback.

While watching Manning pick apart the Pats duct taped defense was an alright watch, I'd much rather watch the Seahawks corners go against them. Plus with all the hype that was in the game, it wasn't in doubt at all mid-3rd quarter.

Fuck the Peyton Manning but I am rooting for the Broncos regardless because fuck the Pete Carroll and Richard Sherman and Harbaugh

No shame in being beaten by the Broncos this season. They had an amazing season and were able to follow up on it on their own home field today. Losing twice in the Super Bowl to the Giants was painful (sorry Sally), but being beaten by the other Manning this year was far easier to take.

San Francisco has been getting the bad end of the calls all night. Another horrible call in Seattle's favor. And don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for the Seahawks lol, but it seems so are the referees.

Gotta love those Harbaugh histrionics.

Yeah for real give me a break. It doesn't even make a difference you're getting the ball regardless, we all know you were just going to sit on it and go to halftime. I mean it was sort of a bad call, and he was probably fired up because he's been getting them all night, but just cool your jets and realize it isn't as big of a deal. One of the only things I don't care for about the guy is that he is a bit of a crybaby but whatever. I do like him a little better than John.

Funny you added that line, because John has said that as youngsters, he liked Jim better than himself. Everybody really liked Jim.

Jim does that nonsense on good calls too, though. ESPN.com had a funny article (Flem File, I think) about it with links to .gifs of his fits. But hey, he's coaching his 3rd straight NFC Championship Game. Act out all you want if you can do that with your team.

And as I type, Marshawn has apparently finally entered Beast Mode. Don't let the crowd wake back up...

Yeah I thought it was pretty crazy that once again the 49ers are back here in the NFC Championship game, same with the Patriots. Remember last year three out of the four final teams were all there the year before. These four teams were the four best teams in the league this year so they definitely deserve to be there. Anyway this game is turning out exactly how I thought it would. Very close, very physical. One of the analyst this morning said he thought the score was going to be 17-16, can't remember which team he said would win. But if the next and only score for the rest of the game is a SEA field goal it will turn out to be exactly that.

I'm not sure because I think the winner of this team will win the Super Bowl, but at the same time I have doubts with the Seahawks because they don't play as good away from home, and I have doubts with the 49ers being a sixth seed. Then again once they get past this round the seeding doesn't matter.

The best team is definitely going to win.

Wow, what a fantastic catch, on fourth down too. Great by Wilson and the Seahawks to get them on offsides, and then a great touchdown throw to add to it.

This game is really making up for the less exciting matinee game. Still no idea who is going to win this one, it could be one of those that comes down to whoever has last possession.

Wow, that is such bullshit. The 49ers CLEARLY had the ball, the player was clearly injured and the referees not only miss the call, they let everyone pile on the injured player.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but even I'm pissed about that.

And again another bad break for the 49ers. They've been getting the bad end of the calls all day long. That's such a huge moment of the game too.

On top of that that injury looks bad his leg got crushed! Really hope it's okay and it isn't as bad as it looks, but I don't know I felt like I could hear that thing snap through my TV. What a ridiculous call though, not reviewable... how is that not reviewable? They need to fix those rules. Everything should be damn reviewable.

I can't stand San Francisco and I was wondering why they were even mentioning Seattle going for it on fourth down. The SF guy had the ball.

The football gods at least made it right.

How pathetic is it the referees can miss such an obvious important call and it not be reviewable? Whomever was responsible for that call should be prohibited from working the Superbowl or Pro Bowl.

these refs are so bad, I feel like im watching a movie

Jim Harbaugh needs to be like Bill Yoast in the movie Remember The Titans, and go out and threaten to take the referees to the newspapers.

Blaming the refs is too easy. Theyre human. They make mistakes. The problem is that the nfl has the worst review system possible

They fixed it a little bit with the automatic touchdown reviews, and the turnover reviews. But apparently they only review turnovers that are ruled that way, not plays that should have been ruled turnovers. It's ridiculous, and at the very least if the booth doesn't review it automatically than it should be challengeable by the coach.
