NFL Football LD, 2013/14 Season

Anyone actually going to watch the Pro Bowl tonight? I probably wasn't, but if I don't have anything better to do then I might flip it on just to check it out.

I'm pretty sure someone will. Despite all of the Commish's moaning about the quality of the game and threats to end it, the Pro Bowl is a ratings juggernaut.

I'll be watching the Royal Rumble, though. Most folks around here will probably be doing the same.

Let us know how the Team Rice vs. Team Sanders thing works out, though. I think it's kinda stupid, but apparently some players feel slighted by their draft position and are using that for motivation. That being the case, maybe somebody channels the spirit of the late Sean Taylor and plays the game at more than 1/3 speed.

So far, this Pro Bowl is awesome. It was a slow and steady start, but now they're actually getting in there and letting the hits fly. I'm really loving the teammate vs. teammate match ups.

If you didn't watch it, you missed a good one.

22-21 Team Rice take the victory after a last minute touchdown followed by 2 point conversion. The hits flew, and the desire to win was there.

Furthermore, it gave those who may be up to being cut during the preseason a chance to show other teams what they're good for. And a lot of the people delivered. Very great game... I won't mind if the next year's Pro Bowl was the same way.

I made plans for tonight completely forgetting about the Super Bowl. How could I forget about the Super Bowl. I'm just going to postpone till next Saturday. I'm already gonna miss the first half hour or so as it is.

Either way I'm pumped. Seahawks D vs Broncos O. I'm honestly not sure when we've seen as equal of a matchup in The Big Game as we're going to tonight.

Ill just say this....

Ive seen MANY more shiny, high flying offenses come into a huge game and get utterly dismantled by good defense than the other way around.

Peyton always ripped Baltimore in the playoffs. It's when he's gone on the road in hostile environments where he has problems. But who doesn't have those problems?

"Ripped" is an overstatement, but he has won against the Ravens in the playoffs.

Be that as it may, Broncos started the season with a win, and they'll end it with a win. Gimme Denver, 31-21.

I'll concede this. To be fair, I was mistakenly thinking more specifically about a regular season game, I think it was a Sunday or Monday Night game in early 2000s where they were hyping the offense v. the defense of the Ravens. Colts won handily.

Great start with the safety! Reminds me of 2011 when the Pats gave up a safety. Although in that game the penalty was borderline.

Seahawks are H.O.T. Hot, and Denver is cold right now. If things don't change this might be a freaking blow out. I doubt Denver will let the happen but the Seahawks are off to a fantastic start right now.

Seattle Seahawks now up 15-0. No team has ever come back from a 13 point deficit in the Super Bowl let alone 15. Against this defense? Good luck, Peyton. I'm pumped, keep it going Hawks.

Lol am I the only one in here? I thought everyone watched the Super Bowl.
