NFL Football LD, 2013/14 Season

The fact that the coach is responsible for reviewing plays is redundant as well. Like he doesn't already have a thousand other things to worry about. It should just be someone away from the game watching it, that way when a ref fucks up, that person can say "hey, he fucked up." The refs are buzzed with the correct call and continue the game.

Does not look good for Bowman at all, hope he has a speedy recovery, because that reminded me of the infamous Joe Theisman injury. Or Marcus Lattimore last year.

That NaVorro Bowman play... weak.

The Seahawks and the Broncos were hailed as the best teams in football all season long, and only a fool would argue. Should be a fun Super Bowl, provided the weather plays nice.

Blaming the refs is too easy. Theyre human. They make mistakes. The problem is that the nfl has the worst review system possible

Uh, did you watch the fucking game? There were at least four calls which were blatantly flat out incorrect, two of which gave seattle possesion of the ball, another one which gave them a first down when they were stopped on third down.

Yes. They fuck up. Thats not the point though. The review system should be able to prevent that.

Yeah, I was on the floor laughing at the Richard Sherman interview. Erin Andrews didn't know what to say.

Unless they review all penalties also the 5 yard call for running into the kicker that should have been a 15 yard call for roughing the kicker wouldn't have been able to be fixed by a review.

49ers should have kept the ball and gotten a first down out of that.
Instead Seattle gets the ball and scores on that drive.

yea, that was one of the four.

A lot of blame goes to the refs, but Kaepernick really shit the bed with the picks a fumble. And don't get me started on the defense giving up that TD on 4th down.

You can review if it's a fumble or not but you can't review who had possession of the ball.

It's stupid.

I recall something like that in the Green Bay-Pittsburgh game too in Week 16 after a blocked field goal. Pittsburgh had blocked it and it was recovered, but I think they pitched it back, the ball was batted, and because of that a flag was thrown and they gave Green Bay the ball.

I'm pretty sure after that game the NFL said that they would definitely discuss changing that rule, so after this game I think it's a given that they're going to have no other choice but to change it now.

Geez, go make a run down to the store after the game and sports talk radio is already ablaze with hosts and callers talking about Richard Sherman. He's gonna get some attention over the next couple of weeks, I think.

It's not that big of a deal. That's just the type of person Sherman is, he's done it before. In that sort of situation where they just clinched a Super Bowl berth with a huge defensive stop, there is no doubt he's got his adrenaline going, throw in his personality and of course he's going to have that sort of interview. It was a huge rivalry game that they wanted to win more than anything. I honestly think that game might have meant more to them than the Super Bowl.

If you watched further into the postgame celebrations, anyone would see that Sherman had actually calmed down. It was really nothing to rip on the guy about. It was funny. I don't even think he crossed any lines.
