Occasional Pre-Show
I want to start this weekly thread analyzing Chair Shot Reality. First off i usually enjoy the show and find Justin and Josh have good pulse on the wrestling world. They aren't always correct on predictions but i find them entertaining.

Anyways this week Josh Isenberg was away and they did a program with Josh being filmed "via satellite". This looked fake and you could tell it wasn't really being filmed at the same time where Justin was in the studio and where Josh was by a beach. They discussed Karma breaking character, Christian heel turn, and Alex Riley. Honestly it was a supbar show. The guys really had not much to say.

So what did you guys think of the show and what are your overall thoughts on CSR?

CSR has never been about quality. Their show's 'production value' or lack thereof is very amateurish. Hell, the first time I even heard of the name Chair Shot Reality, I thought it sounded stupid. I like some of the stuff both Justin and Josh provide, and I agree with their opinions on wrestlers from time to time. But, they haven't necessarily brought forth any reliable news or believable content on certain subjects. Just watch the shows and you'll see that. "Interviews" with wrestlers are my biggest gripe about the show since they never do it the legitimate way. Also, I find Mark Madden's segment to be annoying. Then again, I usually find Mark Madden to be annoying with his know-it-all attitude. Overall, I guess the show is alright but vast improvements could really benefit how it's all presented.

CSR is awesome, often more enjoyable than Smackdown. Of course they can't always call everything right, but they do tend to at least provide basis for their opinions unlike a lot of internet shows. They're both pretty funny and I'm a definite LaBarbarian. What I will say is Mark Madden's section drags the show down a bit. Otherwise I love the show and wish it was longer.

Completely agree. I thought Josh was albino for ages, all because their cameras weren't set correctly. Anytime they show a clip and the audio of the clip drowns out what they are saying really irritates me too as it's such a basic thing to fix!

As for Madden, it's hard to take a guy seriously who, despite being a radio-show host (does he ever mention that?) doesn't seem to realise he doesn't need to yell at the microphone. It's maybe a method that helps him from going over time, but the guy sounds far too scripted. I get that it's easier for a pair like Josh and Justin to go back and forth and be looser with a script, but Madden sounds too structured and deliberate the bulk of the time. Plus his little 'fat-man gasps' between words/phrases gets really distracting.

Been saving that up for a wee while :D
