NCAA Football LD 2012-2013 Season

Without having looked at any stats and only a limited look at the schedules, I don't see how you can go with anyone but Oregon vs. Alabama. I want to see the Alabama defense against that offense of Oregon. Kansas State continues to be the team that people are just now hearing of and the Irish are probably third.

Crazy thing is I think my scenario has a very good chance of happening. Up to this point, I think Kansas State has had the best schedule beating Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and West Virginia. Oregon has the hardest schedule down the road and as I type this, Oregon State is losing to Washington. I think USC losing hurts Notre Dame more than it does Oregon.

Not just USC losing, but also Michigan.

But I'd be surprised if all 4 remain undefeated. For all the crap about the BCS, I think there's only been one time a major team has been left out of the title game, while also being undefeated.

Was that the year Auburn got left out?

I assume you're talking about Auburn in 2005.

To further the point about Oregon and Alabama, no one all year has gotten closer than 17 points against either of them. They haven't even been reasonably challenged all year.

USC is in trouble next week after losing to Arizona. I believe UCLA is first place now in the PAC-12 South. Oregon looks like they can't be stopped, and USC doesn't appear to be ready for all the offensive threats that will thrown their way.

Is anybody watching this Notre Dame vs. Pitt game? I had almost given up on ND when they were down 14 in the 4th quarter and they tied it on a great 2pc run. Awesome comeback.

The awesomeness continues: we're in double OT, Notre Dame fumbles on the goal line and then Pitt's field goal goes wide right. The announcers are losing it.

The BCS is going to be very interesting if Bama, ND and Oregon are all undefeated. For the life of me I can't picture the BCS turning down the Tide against the Irish if it's an option. That's too big a match to pass up.

I can picture it and it will and should happen. It's going to be Alabama and Oregon if all three are undefeated. And you forgot about Optimus Klein.

This Oregon offense is scary. USC is a very solid team and they've looked fine on offense, but they're getting blown away here.

If my memory is right, coming into tonight no team has gotten closer to Alabama or Oregon than 17 points. They're not just beating teams. They're flattening them. Unless they lose, I don't think there's a reasonable argument to be made for a match other than that one.
