Nothing was more painful to watch during that period than seeing Rey get dragged through the mud by Kane's mediocre ass. As soon as Rey stopped fighting Kane, he got exponetially better. Weird.

No he got exponentially boring again. Rey is one of the dullest characters in history. He can't move like he used to and is there because kids love him. He's fine in the upper midcard where he's been since he lost the world title until about the feud with the SES. Then he became Superman again and it jsut got idiotic.
