I'm not rewriting history, (K Web did) I'm saying the same thing that typically happens each time anyone else fails a test, their legacy is tainted. This isn't his first brush with a doping violation, it's why he is facing a four year ban. He is never going to learn.

Hendricks gets (rightfully) shit on all the time because as soon as they started stricter testing, he fell off. Jones' entire career has to have the same shadow over it now. It's the same with Silva. He got caught toward the end of his career, but he still got caught. There is no way to tell how long they had been using, but I have a feeling that most guys who are as established as Jones or Silva just decide one day they need to juice.

We all knew that Jones was a shitbag before this, this is just the final nail in the coffin if it turns out to be a legit failed test and not a tainted supplement. You literally can't trust the guy after this. He comes back after the long layoff and fucks up faster that he leaves the scene of an accident.

The rewriting history comment was a larger point and not directly targeted at you. You've seen it, people are already discrediting everything Jones did because he may have failed this test.

You said, "There is no way to tell how long they had been using" but there is and it's called the drug testing that happened during his entire career. Drug testing isn't this new thing and Jones passed all his test for PED's until now. There is no evidence that Jones did PED's for any other fight than the second DC fight (UFC 200 being a tainted dick pill).

Jones never dropped off like Hendricks did. He came in day one and went straight to the top. Are you saying that Jon Jones was cheating for 23 fights and never got caught once? Is that where we are at? That he is the luckiest man on earth and cheated from 2008 until 2017 and never got busted? Because he has dominated for his entire career. There is no drop off with Jones like there was for Hendricks.

Based on the evidence and the facts, Jones is a fucking idiot who tainted his legacy but he isn't a career cheater. I'll defend him on that until someone can provide evidence of him cheating earlier.

Yeah he did good. I was a bit surprised we didn't see a bit more power from Conor but apart from that I think the fight played out to the script. Conor looked like he was gonna win going down to the ring, fucking menacing look. He did land 30 more punches than Floyd but Floyd looked like he could go another 20 rounds. It was a sick fight with all things considering.

It was enjoyable. Then again, did McGregor land anything Floyd didn't want him to? I feel like Floyd's game plan for the first six rounds consisted of not only entertaining the fans he didn't against Manny, but making sure McGregor had zero gas left in the tank. McGregor never rocked Floyd. I felt Floyd controlled this whole fight and knew exactly where it was going. I give McGregor credit for going all out, but I really don't feel Floyd was ever in any real danger of losing.

I think that's closed off his options in boxing for a while now. I can only see him going against the bigger names like Canelo and even Khan but I think we're a long way away from McGregor in another boxing match, especially after how one sided yesterday's bout was.

I see him going against Khabib and Diaz again. Might retire after that unless another big money fight comes about in the UFC.

Yeah true but that was his only option to win. If he thought he didn't have to land any power punches and could win that fight then Conor is more stupid than I thought. Maybe he changed his mind after seeing what he was doing those first 3 rounds but everyone and their dog knew the longer the fight went the less chance Conor had of winning.

The man was probably already set for life before this fight but now he's pocketed another $100 million he sure as fuck doesnt need to do shit for the rest of his life. UPDATE: A USADA spokesperson on Friday released a statement to MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani confirming publicly that Turinabol is the substance Jones popped for and explaining the tests Jones underwent in July. That statement can be read below.

“Given that Mr. Jones’ agent has publicly commented on this case, we can confirm Mr. Jones provided a urine and blood sample on July 6th and an additional urine sample on the 7th — all of which were reported negative. On July 28th, his urine sample tested positive for turinabol — as confirmed previously — then after the fight he provided a blood sample that was reported negative.”

“The prohibited anabolic steroid turinabol is only tested for in urine screens and not in blood tests. Urine and blood screens are complimentary to each other and don’t analyze for the same substances. Importantly, Mr. Jones is innocent unless and until the established process determines otherwise. It’s only fair to let due process occur before jumping to any conclusions.”

Jones passed 3/4 drug tests.

Nunes/Shevchenko was the real main event anyway. It's the bigger fight and likely to be a better fight than Mighty Mouse outclassing yet another competitor.

Backing the Bullet all the way. In a world where so many MMA fighters have shit nicknames, we should be thankful that Shevchenko is known as the Bullet.

If you're not convinced already to support Shevchenko then keep in mind that she ended Julianna Peña's undefeated run in the UFC. Shut that idiot right up (Pena wears sunglasses inside, ladies and gentlemen!) and saved us all from her ever growing self-righteous attitude.

Shevchenko is down 0-2 against Nunes but this is some bullshit. Rematch immediately, Shevchenko deserves that much. Wow!

I wouldn't call it a robbery, it was a close fight that could've gone either way, & it ended in a split decision. I also didn't have a clear favorite I was cheering for in the fight, I just wanted a good competitive fight & got it. Every fight on the card was pretty damn good, still a little annoyed I didn't get to see Mighty Mouse make history last night, but it's the fight game, shit happens.

Jones' second sample came back positive. Just ship him off at this point. We now can't fully determine how much of his skill was his own and how much was him juicing, and even if this was just a one time fuck up trying to get back in ring shape, it's still another in a long line of fuck ups. He isn't worth the headache. No more chances, you have to cut your losses if you are the UFC at this point.

Ultimately, the panel agreed that Jones didn't knowingly take a banned substance, but still opted for the full penalty allowed in the case.

That was UFC 200, the first time he tested positive for what people thought related to PED usage. Even the panel who delivered his suspension admitted they believed he didn't know it was a banned substance.

Jones passed every drug test outside of three (one for cocaine [out of competition so it doesn't matter anyway], the one I've listed above which the panel believe was unintentional and the one for the rematch with DC).

This latest fight is the ONLY TIME Jones has tested positive for a PED.
