I was a little suspicious when Miz didnt compete against Big Zeke. He usually doesnt back down often. But i didnt know he was reserved for this....
It was just grand. Perfect job, WWE.
BTW. Here a twist for ya. What if D. Otunga told Miz to cash it in because Nexus was gunna jump Orton?? Think about it, that can go many ways.........

I'll admit I was never EVER a fan of the Miz. I flat out loath the guy. What people see in him is beyond me. He has a mouth, that's it. Needless to say I was rather upset when I got the 1,2,3. I am not a fan of this decision. I really hope he doesn't hold the title for long. Oh boy words can not express how angry I am right now. You can all shit on me but I just don't like Miz. He sucks. I'm not watching any wwe main events anytime soon. gr

This truely was a great cash in, and i think Miz will be a damn good WWE Champion, he has all the tools to succeed now in the main event, he has tonnes of charisma, very good mic skills and he's good in the ring and his in ring ability improves each week. And im glad WWE gave him this chance because he genuinely works hard and does good work for the company.
So well done Miz, this was a huge mark out for me and the IWC people that support you.

I gotta be honest I found that very very boring and predictable!
Soon as the Nexus beatdown happened I guessed the miz would come out at some point and get the belt. Predictable and boring.
TBH all the cash ins are boring now its always done the same way - champions weak battered come in hardly any match just hit your finisher and win. It was cool the first couple of times but now its worn very thin.
Also The miz wont be champion long he has nothing to do with the main storylines he just seems to be having his duty bound reign from winning MITB highly doubt he will have it beyond the rumble.
Why can't someone actually announce when they cashing in and have a full match like RVD did? Its much better like that and a proper build up.
And I feel the WWE is not making new stars like this they are making all new champions look weak really by having this gimmick, plus when is someone ever going to fail from cashing in MITB?
I'd rather see someone entirly new winning the belt be it face or heel after a great match, nowadays though they alls eem to come from MITB cheap shot cash ins - even the faces.

I was sitting here wondering why ther main event ended so early, and all of a sudden... AWESOME!!! Loved it, good cash in. Loved the counter to the RKO!! I used to hate the Miz with a passion but i must admit he is a hell of a hard worker, great hope this title reign is memorable. Congrats Miz, they gave you the ball, lets see what you can do with it!
It's great to see that The Miz will finally get a chance with the WWE Championship, but the whole deal with him having an 'anxiety attack' and stuff just made it really plain obvious for me. The only thing positive that came from this is that I wanted to see the end result of WWE RAW, because I had a feeling that tonight was Miz's night.
Besides that, I'm very happy that someone took the title off Orton. The last two weeks of RAW have been shows that have been really interesting. Keep it up WWE.

Amazing! A true success story - The young star, breaking into the business, progressing from curtain-jerker to midcard talent to WWE Champion! This must be so emotional for him. Hell, it's emotional for all of us. We either got pissed or marked our balls off. 
Honestly, I'm happy. I'm happy for the guy, I'm happy as a fan of him, and I'm happy because this throws a wrench into the storyline and makes ANYTHING possible! Who will he feud with? How will he be booked? How long will he hold onto the belt? So many questions, so many possibilities - I love it!!

WOW!!!!! A FUCKING REAL WORLD REJECT WON THE WWE TITLE. THE MIZ IS JUST GOING TO LOSE IT AT TLC TO ORTON ANYWAY AND THEN ALL OF YOU INTERNET MORONS CAN SHUT THE FUCK UP. AND NOW MY COMMENT WILL BE DELETED BY THE POWERS THAT BE THAT RUN THIS WEBSITE.
I have to say i am very pleased about two things tonight first being the Miz winning the title of course. And two after reviewing the first 4 pages of this thread and seeing overwhelmingly positive remarks and support for the title win by Miz. I was honestly expecting to see a whole lot of this is stupid and he don't deserve it but it was very limited. This is his shot to really show the remaining doubters that he is capable of carrying the title and being a big player on a regular basis. Cant wait to see Raw next week, WWE is on the ball with the PPV and the follow up show. And KOTR tournament just around the corner. Things are changing for the better.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Miz but tonight, I marked and I marked hard. This cash in, for me was better than any other previous cash ins and CM Punk and Edge are my favorite guys right now. Maybe it was the anticipation of the cash in. It took months. And most of those months, I was right there saying he wasn't ready and he'll be the first to lose. But he didn't. He won his first WWE Championship and dammit, he deserved it. WWE did an amazing job of hiding the Miz tonight and truly suprising us all. They focused so much on Wade Barrett and John Cena and Randy Orton, that we were forced to forget about the Miz. Well done WWE and Miz. I'm still marking out. Hopefully we'll see a 5 to 6 month reign in The Miz and hopefully this isn't his last. What a great RAW.
can't freaking believe how many marks are out here for this guy. Really? Really? The MIZ? REALLY??? He's DECENT on the mic at best. But is he the future of an entire company? Get the freak outta here. He's not that great. He cuts a decent promo but his in ring work leaves much to be desired. Yes a lot of the greats didn't have great in ring work. But what they lacked in the ring, they made up for in other areas. Miz doesn't have one GREAT area and a bunch of good areas. He has a bunch of decent areas and thats it. What this is, is WWE's loss of a bunch of huge names (Trips, HBK, Undertaker, etc) and a desperate push of someone who's kissing major butt in the back. I always wondered what would need to happen in order for me to absolutely stop watching WWE. It happened tonight when they gave an ex Real World cast member one of the most prestigious titles in wrestling. In my opinion, they just pulled another David Arquette. Marks can argue all they want. But I don't care. I'm no longer a WWE watcher. LONG LIVE TNA!

Well my hats off to The Miz who is now WWE Champion a guy who I thought had no chance at all to make it in the Big Leagues. Really unpredictable ending to tonight's RAW after Survivor Series. Lets see what the kid can do with the ball now that its in his court. I guarantee it will not be a Jack Swagger-esque Title run and anyone bashing this should shut up.

Say what you will about "cheap cash-ins", Miz had an actual match here. Sure, Orton was beat down and not 100%, but the match actually lasted a few minutes, Orton got some offense in and actually had Miz's "inevitable" win in doubt. How often do you see the RKO countered into someone else's finisher? If you want to talk about "cheap", this isn't the worst case of that. It's not like he hit him with the briefcase or a chair or something and won in five seconds. He and Creative both deserve credit for having it play out this way.

i SOMEWHAT expected this. At first, i thought Nexus would turn on Wade Barrett and screw him out of the title when he won it and join up with Miz, THEN when Cena interfered, my thought changed to The Miz will cash in after the match and attack that knee and he did. All in all, good way to end the show, the kids reactions were priceless. Miz winning didnt send them home happy and while i am not a fan of Michael Cole's stupid cheerleading, i do like the Miz as champion. him and Orton should put on some good matches
