*MERGED* [OFFICIAL] Undertaker Injury/Vegetative State & Kane's Search Discussion

Could be HBK cause you never know. As for me, I'm going with 2 guys right now and the probability of it being any one of these 2 is extremely low.

Could be Mysterio. He benefited most from this and he did actually injure Taker in their latest match so he could always be a candidate. But this would mean a heel turn and a heel Mysterio is something I just can't really see.

Could be Bryan Danielson. Yes I said it. Wouldn't it be amazing if it were Danielson. Hell, the guy is a submission specialist and could truly put anyone out with all the pain he can inflict.

Again it's not gonna be either of these two but Mysterio makes sense and Danielson would add an ultimate surprise to everything. Orton already stated on Twitter that Danielson had a big future so you never know.

This would be perfect. You have a terrific point with the submission specialist thing, and it would sell is ability with submission a crap ton more. Even if people don't think he has charisma, this would make him credible to those people. And it could make for an extremely entertaining feud, and a match to challenge the past two HBK Manias. Great idea. I'm glad somebody else saw it. :D

What if (and it's a wild idea), Cena is the one who attacked The Undertaker? Cena and Undertaker have never clashed....and it'd lead to an epic encounter at Wrestlemania. Undertaker has clashed with (and beaten) all main event stars at Wrestlemania BUT Cena. Plus, with all the buzz over Cena possibly turning heel and joining Nexus, it'd make perfect sense.....both Cena *and* Nexus behind the Undertaker's attack.

Seriously guys, I can see it being Kane.
SummerSlam is Kane vs Mysterio, Kane retains his title and Takers music goes off after the match.
Taker is at the top of the ramp doing the salute to his brother, Kane.

This will then make us believe Kane did not do it, but as some other poster added, this will turn out to be like the HHH and HBK attack, Taker and Kane would probably team up a couple of times against people Kane has put forward to Taker who he thinks has done it.
Taker agrees to tag with him and fight them, not knowing that Taker knows what Kane did.
This would lead to a Tombstone by Taker to Kane, leading to a title match up to whichever PPV corresponds to the storyline!

Just my ideas, and feel free to bash the hell out of it! (Hell, Taker reference.... oh nevermind! )

Now I have two ways I think or would like this story to work out...

Now its been a couple years but, I was just thinking about this the other day, in the movie "23" with jim carry, its kinda a suspensful drama, but all these bad things keep happening and Jims character keeps trying to figure out whose doing them or how they're happening and turns out that he is the one causing or doing all the things... like i said it has been a while since i've seen that movie so that may not be exactly how it went. (sorry if that ruined the movie for anyone, but its still a good movie lol)

anyways...

hear me out on this one:
1. Kane is actually the attacker only it's masked kane, and unmasked kane has no idea it's him... Kane has no control over what he did once he put the mask back on, it's like he's a completely different person once that mask is on and he blacks out once he puts it on. and once he takes it off, he has no idea that he did anything. Which is why he keeps going around looking for who it is. Unmasked kane would be in denial, and would want forgivness, but he would find the mask and put it back on and would maybe leave it on until the feud w/ taker is over, and kane would take some time off, and come back w/o, that way we all get to experience kane masked again, and at the same time, he doesnt have to wear it for very long. I think they could take that story in many different directions...

OR..

2. Kane again is the attacker, only he was wearing a Rey mask when he attacked taker... so maybe all taker could see was the mask, which is possibly why he told kane it was rey... this has nothing to do w/ the more creative story about or the movie description above, but it's just another way it could end up.

Let me know what you guys think.

[P]Holy shit. The first idea was fucking amzing. I have zero problems with that storyline or whatever you call it, happening... Its been a while since the wwe has had a good story line on smackdown like this one. It would bring back the suspense of kane and the undertaker's gimmick. Nice work

Second one?? Hell no. Sounds like you just made that one up in your sleep. Lol

But nice idea on the first one...[/P]

wow tht first idea was simply amazing. i would have never thought of tht. look out russo lol but seriously we have all been thinking of ways for kane to get his mask back and this is the perfect scenario. nice thinking bud

That was a great promo by Kane this past Friday and I pray to God that Kane isn't the one behind it. Swagger would surely benefit from this if he's the one who did it, and hell it may even be better if Punk had done it too! Taker may not be able to compete at Summer Slam, but him showing up would really get this thing going. I like the time he's been gone so far. This is turning into a great program.

A simple question
What if, when Alberto del Rio debuts, he is revealed as the Undertakers attacker? the way they have been hyping him via vignettes it could be a possiblity, if wwe wants to give him a sudden push...
your thoughts?

Oh God No. The WWE wouldn't let a new comer take out a legend such as the Undertaker. It's just way to unrealistic. This would make Alberto look strong but then it makes The Undertaker VERY weak. Plus, their is no doubt that a main eventer such as Kane will take The Undertaker out. As of now, I don't see Alberto anywhere higher than the mid-card. Is he a future main-eventer? Possibly. Is your prediction anywhere close to true? Heck No.

EDIT : I'm not trying to bash your thread, I was just giving my opinion :)

I completely agree. Your idea will make Del - Weirdo look strong, but make 'Taker look shit weak. I also think this will not happen. Especially because Del - Weirdo is...well...his gimmick is really, "Oh I'm so intelligent." And intelligent person would never take out The Undertaker.

Alberto may someday be a main eventer, but not someday soon. His main event shine will not come by taking out 'Taker.

And, just like WWE.IS.AWESOME, I'm not bashing your idea...it's just my opinion.

This is going to end up being Kane. Ive said it all along. He gains fans by going after the attacker and then right after he wins the title at SS...The lights go black, we hear a bell, the lights come back on, and Taker gives Kane the Tombstone and walks out. Makes perfect sense, especially if youve read the spoilers. Which I wont place on here for obvious reasons. It really does set up nicely though.

It is most likely kane but I think there maybe more to this story than just undertaker returning at summerslam to deliver a tombstone to kane. My guess is that undertaker will cost kane the match just as he is about to finish mysterio off, thus making rey the new WHC. Next taker will tombstone kane, place him in the casket and set light to the casket with that lightning bolt pyro. Once the audience sees the casket being covered in the flames, the druids will come out to take it away. Then here comes the part I am really hoping for. A few months (but most likely a few weeks) down the line, when undertaker faces whomever has the WHC in the PPV to follow, Kane returns with the mask on and costs taker the match. Honestly, I can't see why this feud between kane and taker would be as long as the ones in the past as it only really happened because of the injuries to the undertaker. The wwe needed a quick storyline to cover for his absence, especially since taker was just fresh from a long period off after Wrestlemania. So what I think is that this story is somehow meant to be short as the proper feud between undertaker and kane will most likely be taker's final feud leading up to a future wrestlemania. We have seen undertaker and kane feuding for a short period before, leading up to summerslam 2000, where taker ripped off kane's mask.

Kane as the attacker is to obvious. It'd help Swagger alot, possibly if it was revealed he did it. I'm not a Mcintyre fan but it'd help him as well. They could do a scenario where Kane masterminded it, but wasn't the actual attacker

I was thinking, ever since Drew told Rey last week "you don't have the size to do it on your own." And then when (I think it was) Matt Striker said at the end of that episode "What will happen now as they have accused each other of attacking Undertaker?" that Kane vs. Rey vs. Taker could be more appealing in the long haul. If WWE could pull off the fans succumbing to the assumption that Rey could have possibly(which Kane did a damn nice job of explaining motives and making it believable) been in cahoots with Kane(I mean, who hasn't asked themselves, "How the flying fudgcicles does Rey Mysterio know that he did it?"

Granted the same could be said about Kane assuming Rey did, except Kane had reasoning behind the assumption. That's where the line is blurred, and the sensible thing is that they BOTH could have done it, together. Or, another scenario happens that keeps them involved.

I mean, if you're like me, you are thinking "WTFF, why the fuck would you do the same old feud over again when you could promote some up-and-comer?"

THAT is where it would get fun, just follow what I think could and should happen;

Taker comes and blatently attacks both Kane and Mysterio after their match at Summerslam. It leaves the fans with the impression that Taker doesn't know who did it, and yet it fuels the rivalry until at least Survivor Series or HIAC.

On the episodes of Smackdown! there could be bitter 'chats' between Kane and Rey, with Taker doing his Titantron thing for a while, telling them that he don't care who did it, he wants revenge.

Meanwhile, WWE can establish someone(or two) by giving them more screen time, and in a dominating fashion(Christian or Matt Hardy anyone, looking for something fresh in a heel turn). I use them as examples because we all know they want desperately in the ME.

Lastly, have it be a tag team instead of a soloist responsible, with a very good variety of talent available, Christian/Drew/Cody/Kofi/Dolph/Matt/MVP, and you have Kane(who still wants vengeance for Taker, and Taker wanting revenge of course) seeking out revenge against the duo as the reformed Brothers of Destruction. Finish off at Wrestlemania and you accomplish 2 things. Keeps Takers streak alive, and builds major cred to the mid-card duo.

Whatcha think?

*random person, yes indeed* "Oh, well I think that it could work, some of the major talent could use the credit. Gotta be better than Kane and Taker 69ing in the Main Event of the next 4 PPVs. Your idea works cause it makes it a 3-way mix... woooohhhoooooo"
