I ask that you go and vote for Kenta Kobashi in The Wrestlezolympics. Unlike HBK-aholic, who just asked people to vote for Shawn Michaels without providing people with solid reasons for doing so (she even made a Bar Room Thread about it, so, I'm just following her example: http://forums.wrestlezone.com/showthread.php?t=95264), the posts xfearbefore and I have made in their Iron Man match thread give you more than enough reasons to vote for Kobashi: http://forums.wrestlezone.com/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=5918. Also, I'd like you to take a look at who has voted for Kobashi: posters who always make sure to back up what they say and do so articulately. On the other hand, who's voting for Michaels? A few strong names, but mainly posters who have contributed nothing to this forum (also, jalend1, whoever the fuck you are: I see that you used your alt, jd1220, to vote for Michaels twice, you fucking cumstain).

So, please, take a look at the thread, and vote Kobashi, whose supporters give the better arguments as to why he should go over Michaels.

Also, I have yet to see even ONE fucking argument for HBK in that thread that even came close to resembling something good. All we've had is a few noobs come in and misspell every word while saying "HBK IZ DER BESTESTS!!!11!!" while TDigs and myself practically write essays citing video after video.

But hey, whatever, choose to remain uneducated and vote for people based on their nationality. That isn't petty ethnocentrism at all.

Apparently you don't know what the word ethnocentrism means. And atleast get our exagerrated bullshit right, KENTA and Kobashi have squared off maybe five times at most, you could've atleast said Misawa/Kobashi or a feud that's actually notable.

And no, I never say that whenever you say a wrestling match is good. I usually argue with you when you call a good wrestling match shit, not the other way around. I don't know what the fuck kind of matches you like.

Because TDigs and myself have torn every shabby attempt at an argument for HBK to pieces with relative ease.

Notice how half of the people voting for HBK are either A) HBK marks who admit to not even knowing who Kobashi is, or B) A troll who's sole reason for voting for HBK is because they know it will piss off a few certain people.

I was pretty torn between the two, leaning towards Kobashi, until I read this.

i think people are seriously underestimating shawn michaels in this match. are we forgetting that this is The Showstopper, The Main Event, Mr. Wrestlemania we are talking about here. titles like that dont get handed out to just any ole slouch. HBK is widely considered one of the best in the WORLD, yet here he is being brushed off in a match against someone whom ive never even heard of until this tournament was announced. If kobashi is soooo good, how come he has never wrestled for any of the big companies over here in the US? if you pride yourself on being a great wrestler, shouldnt you want to bring your game to the highest level i.e. WWE or even the minor leagues i.e. TNA? Yet while HBK is wrestling in MOTY contests and headlining the biggest ppv's, kobashi is where...?
