No. But we were under the influence of controlled substances. Anyways, spur of the moment, three of us decide we're going to New Jersey.

It was funny. We packed our bags, threw a bunch of crackers, Lucky Charms, Sunny D and Ranch Dip into the car with us, and within less than an hour of us deciding to do it, we were heading off. It was 4am. It took us about 3 hours to get there. We drove to the Jersey Shore. BEAUTIFUL. got there with the sun rising and everything. Anyways, the reason we drove there is because we wanted to see this restaurant called Steaks Unlimited, as seen on the TV show True Life on MTV. Mmmm, cheeseballs. We were planning on staying all day, hanging out, and going to this place called Club Merch at night. Anyways, we get there, and the whole place is almost deserted. We forgot everything on the shore would be closed outside of beach season. So we say fuck it, we're going to White Castle. Grabbed a Crave Case and drove back to school at 100 miles an hour, eating White Castle mini-burgers, saying to each other, "What the fuck were we thinking?! We were planning on staying the night?! Why did we pack bags?!" But it was completely worth it, just cuz we can say we did it.

Yeah, before my friend went into the Air Force, we ended up deciding to take a road trip to California.. we got as far as South/North Dakota and ran out of money.. we had to turn back.

How the hell does that work?...pretty sure you were going the wrong way, since SD/ND is north of Iowa, and California is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over on the west coast, south of Iowa

It doesn't, really.. I have no clue how we ended up going Northwest. We started first by going up (toward Minnesota) instead of across. (Nebraska, I think) Upon getting up to MN, we then curved west..
We intentionally went to the Dakota's, so we could see Mount Rushmore (sp?) and ended up liking it there because, well (keep in mind this was 2001) there was a really cute girl who was the guide to this mountain/horseback riding tour thing.. and we spent practically all our money within 3 days of continuously hangout out there.
At the time, I felt it was better than going to California. lol I'd of rather stared at her than some fricken beach. (which was the goal, cause neither of us had seen the beach before)
