well I'm pretty pissed off ... I went for a shower, and living with loads of people, and going for a shower is always rubbish, but someone kept using the water, so i got burnt and then i froze... and now i am so cold its not even funny

I take it the hot water heater isn't made to withstand someone using water elsewhere, while the shower is on? I hate mixed water temps too. Although I must say, I don't get cold too often.

Of course I'm the type of guy to willingly keep my air conditioner in my window year round, without covering it off in the winter.. so my room during that time is an icebox.

The only time I ever enjoy pure hot showers though, are when I'm completely sick.. kinda like now, as the hot water hitting your skin has the same effect of piercing-ness.. however its a good feeling. I don't know how else to describe that.
