Remove "the" and you'd be a bit more accurate in your statement.
C'mon, Cory, you don't have to be a suck up for people to like you.

And of all the times to be a Billy Gunn mark, WHY would you pick the post-DX Billy Gunn. At least in DX he was fun. But '02?! That was the beginning of the end of the Bad Ass.

A titanium bar through someone's dick isn't valuable :p

It hurt's too.

Does that mean you have half nipples?

No. I have perma sore nipple though.

You're out of touch love. Ever heard of a thing called half term?

That was half Jake, half schoolyard.

I am off to read my book, All this talk of Billy Gunn has made me want my bed.

Girls can't read, silly.

Billy Gunn is Shit

Geez Cory, you'd think you could be a bit more respectful to Danielle's favorite wrestler. :p

I like Billy Gunn, but not the crap he's doing in T.N.A. I wish he'd return to his Mr. Ass days.. he was awesome back then, now he's just some guy in weird shorts with garter belt straps. :disappointed: I'm sorry, I still like him, but its just weird.

First off Bite me. Second I've liked Billy Gunn since I started watching wrestling which in case you didn't know was in '02. I've also seen alot of hes DX and N.A.O. stuff on YouTube so It's not like I'm basing everything on the post DX Billy Gunn. I'm not trying to suck up to anybody. Just because I don't talk about him 24/7 doesn't mean I don't like him. You might not know this but one of my first pots on this board was in defense of Billy Gunn in a thread Jake started before I started talking to Danielle. Third if you keep comments like this to yourself we'll get along fine.

I like Billy Gunn. I did and still do find him entertaning to watch. As a part of Billy and Chuck he was in a good tag team that held multiple Tag Title reigns. He also was ap rt of the most dominating faction in WWE history DX and held multiple Tag titles with Road Dogg as a part of the New Age Outlaws. In TNA he is back with Road Dogg as VKM and I have a feeling they will be winning the TNA tag titles as well. So IMO BIlly Gunn is not shit and is still very entertaing to watch and I hope he is Champion again.
This quote is what actually got me talking to her so there is no sucking up. If I didn't like him i would let people know.

Well. if you had read what I wrote in that thread, you would know that I defended him as a tag team wrestler. There's no doubt that he's had a lot of success. But he's just boring as a singles wrestler, and he's been awful since he's joined TNA. I know, he's getting older, but then maybe he should just retire. I just can't see anything that Billy Gunn did after DX worthy of acheiving a fanbase. Although, his short-lived team with Hardcore Holly was kind of entertaining.

Ok for a start, this is my thread, not a 'Billy Gunn' thread, and seeing as you started this, here I go.
How anyone can criticise Billy Gunn, Kip James or anything you want to call him is beyond me.
He had a nine year career with the WWE, holding the tag team belts 10 times, 3 with the Smoking Gunn's (which would have been more if it was not for his neck surgery) 5 times with the New Age Outlaws (and if anyone has ever watched anything with them, they know he carried that tag team single handedly in the ring, even 'Road Dogg' has said that) and 2 more times with Billy And Chuck, not to mention holding the Intercontinental championship, Hardcore championship and the King of the Ring in 1999. Many people believe he held the tag team titles at the WWE 11 times, but it wasn't recorded, even though he clearly held half of the tag team titles. He has also had the IWF tag belts twice, the MCW tag team belts, and the WPW championship belt.
New Age Outlaws where one of the most entertaining tag teams, they worked well together, having a member very good vocally, and the other being a good worker in the ring, they where a major part of the tag team divisions movement into the attitude era, and then became part of what can be possibly described as one of the most popular WWE factions ever, DX.
After his rotator cuff injury he returned to a completely different company, and even working well in singles competition, and again in a tag team, at this time he was one of the most tenured wrestlers with the company, behind only The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, but due to problems with Triple H, he was realised in 2004.
At TNA currently, he is about to be used more, which is a good thing for him, and even at 44, 45 this year, he is still in incredible athletic shape for his age, and no longer using steroids.
Sadly most people don't see his good points, like his pure wrestling ability, and want to remember things like his less than average mic skills, and his 'homosexual' storyline which was used to put his great tag team career down, and humiliate him.
Now if anyone wants to challenge me on that, I'll pull a Sly and refuse to see his faults.

See, I could have sworn that I already went over the fact that he was a great tag team wrestler. I already said that he was entertaining in DX, with the NAO. He will be remembered for that. But Billy and Chuck was only an average team that was elevated to the top simply because of a highly publicized gimmick. And now, at his age, he simply can't go anymore, which is a bit of a shame, because him and BG James always worked well together and were never used very well in TNA. And in terms of his singles accolades, they're not exactly what you would call "memorable". Looking at his wikipedia page reveals that he is a two-time hardcore champion, and a one-time IC champion. I can only remember one of his Hardcore title reigns, simply because he went into WM as the champ. His two week reign as IC champion is overshadowed by his rivalry with The Radicalz at that time. And his reign as King of the Ring is quite possibly the biggest flop in the history of KOTR. Even Mable got a World Title Shot out of his, at least. I can't confirm nor disprove that he was released because of HHH, although if this is true, I find it hard to beleive that you would still be such a big fan of Trips. As for IWF, MCW, and WPW, never heard of any of them except MCW. The simple truth is, Billy Gunn was good, but never great enough for singles stardom. Luckily for him he's gotten himself into the history books through The Smokin' Gunns and DX.

I'll be able to tell you, you are wrong when I see him on the 22nd of February.

I have to admit, I loved Billy as a part of the NAO, but everything since then has been a let down. That crappy fued with Jamie Noble, the gay marriage with Chuck, his TNA career. He was good.

Then again, the best thing about the NAO was the music.

# Da, na, na, na

OH, YOU DIDN'T KNOW?

Na, na, na ,na

YOUR ASS BETTER CALLLLLLL SOMEBODY! #

Great stuff.

feelin good still tho??? Not sleepy all the time or feelin wavery or weak?? gotta watch that stuff lady, dont need ya gettin sick or passin out or nethin...

I actually feel better, I have more energy and I am starting to get a good body clock back, because before I couldn't sleep till the early hours of the morning and such but now I am going to bed at a good time and waking up a lot better, so all in all I feel better, and I bought a dress for tonight, which is a size smaller than I usually buy, so it seems to be working well.

a dress for tonight?? whats tonight?? you wear dresses??? thats different..nothing wrong with it, but I never see girls round here with straight up dresses on...

I'm going to a valentines day ball, its not really a ball, and my dress is not like a long dress, its a short black, low cut thing, its really cute.
It should be an interesting night, stupid men thinking because we are single on Valentines Day that we obviously need a man, therefore will accept any pathetic loser that comes along, shall be very interesting.

hahahaha, yea thats generally how the clubs work. Its sad and pathetic really. I dont ever straight up come on to girls, or drop lines at a club. I just walk by, and make eye contact. The response i get is really all you need, to know if the girl want you to get closer to her. Or at least thats how its worked for me always. Good eye contact, she reacts, then I simply walk up and ask "would you like to dance" or something of the sort. I dont ever get rejected lol...how would you react to something like that??

See i think you are right, eye contact is the way to go, I don't like guys who are so overly confident that they will just walk up to me, say something pretty cheesy, and then expect me to fall at their feet.
Another thing I hate is when a guy in a club is obviously giving you eye contact, but won't come over and talk to you, they expect you to go over to them, which annoys me.
But I think the best way to talk to someone in a club or bar is when you go to the bar, i think it is far better when someone just starts up a conversation, also with the smoking ban over here, going outside for a cig is good too, you can easily talk to someone outside.
