Megatron Answers Sports Questions

Edgar Martinez is regarded as the best DH of all time and he hasn't gotten in yet. Considering Ortiz hasn't been as valuable than him (about 30 less WAR) I couldn't really put him in.

Borderline. Great hitter, not much else. I'd probably say yes, partially because of what he did to help bring fans back in. While that may be poor reasoning, the guy has enough merit to be a HOF, steroids or not.

Do you believe that NASCAR is a legitimate sport when a post race fight gets more coverage than the actual race?

Not really, no. I realize driving in a car thats as hot as they get for 3-4 hours is tough, but I can't consider it a sport like many.

What kind of bullshit was that in the Lions/Texans game? 15 yard penalty? I could understand that maybe, but to negate the entire review is just dumb and defeats the purpose of replay.

Admit it, Suh kicked Schaub in the dick on purpose.

Thoughts on Josh Hamilton and Kyle Loshe possibly going to Boston this off season?

True or False the AFC Championship game will be between the Texans and the Patriots?

Suh must be a ninja if he was able to aim and hit him on the mushroom tip.

Depends how much Hamilton gets. If it's a 4-5 year deal for 80-90 million, it's certainly not a bad deal (although they're paying for the tail end of his value). If it's for what he's asking for, yeesh. Lohse could be a nice piece, but moving from NL Central to AL East should decrease his value at least slightly.

False. Likely one of them, but you rarely see both favorites make it in. I'll bank on an upset or two happening.

Ray Rice. 4th and 29.

Amazing play or greatest 4th Down conversion ever?

Oh, and Suh didn't try to kick him in the dick. He did try and kick him though, it just happened to hit him in the penis.

I'm just so baffled. Chargers gonna Charger I guess. Pretty much the kiss of death for Norv.

And idk, 4th and 26 was probably the greatest since it was the playoffs. This one was the most improbable with it being a simple checkdown though.

The fact that Rice did all the work was what surpassed the Philly Playoff one. And he had to make 5 people miss (and Boldin laid a massive block on a Charger defender).

Considering they all but lose the game if he doesn't get the 1st (3 and out would have gotten them the ball with 10 seconds), and it leads to a W makes me think it might be play of the year. Although this play gives it a run for its money

Ok. With that.. over/under: 7 years.

Eh, I'll go with under. Already 31, 6 years 125 million (20.83 mil a year) would be a fair estimate I'd say, although I think I'd only go 4/90. I'll give him the money, but he might only have 2-3 All-Star capable years left.

That's about the deal I'd give him. If I'm looking for short term, high impact, Hamilton is a great fit. 3y/66m (22 per) would be the numbers I'd throw up to him. Of course, that's not an attractive number to someone looking for their big pay day. Although I'd include a mutual option on a fourth year.

Will Peyton and Eli ever face each other in the superbowl? If so who do you think would win?

Saints, Bills, Steelers, Redskins if you could only pick 1 who do you think has the best chance of making the playoffs?

First question doubt it. I'll play the odds game on that.

And Steelers. Bills are out. Redskins and Saints have too many teams to jump. Once Big Ben comes back Pittsburgh should be fine.

With that being said does Big Ben play this week against the Ravens in what could be the most important game left for them?

Who's your prediction for the superbowl if you had to guess now?

Do you think Adrian Peterson deserves both MVP AND Comeback Player Of The Year?

If not, then who deserves it more, Peyton or Tom Terrific?

Where do you see Tim Tebow playing at next year?

Thoughts on R.A. Dickey in general along with your thoughts on him probably heading to Toronto?

Where will Kyle Loshe end up?

Who's the NFL ROTY this year? Luck? RG3? Richardson?

Comeback yes. If the Vikes make the playoffs and he breaks Dickersons record, yes on MVP.

I'd actually go with Rodgers. They've been decimated by injuries all over and he's still having a great year. Brady's likely #2, Manning 3.

Not the Jets, that's for sure. Could see someone like Oakland, Buffalo, or St. Louis bite and use him as a red zone threat. My guess is Jacksonville, though.

Great story, likely will last longer than your typical 38 year old. A move Toronto needs to make if they want to contend, since their rotation has some issues (namely among health) that Dickey could help solve.

Needing one last payday, either Cleveland or Baltimore could make sense. Baltimore moreso because they are coming off a playoff berth and need some veteran presence. Their pitchers are young and not the most durable, so I could see a move there.

RG3. I've stated my reasons for him in the Sports Arena.
