I know people completely underplay the divas' (and women in general in wrestling) ability to bring in viewers but as the most attractive women they had under employment and also easily amongst the best at drawing, this is just a stupid fucking move.

I was shocked to hear that Maryse was released. She was clearly the hottest of the current roster of WWE divas, which typically seems to be the most important thing to the WWE in terms of their female talent. Not only that, but by today's WWE standards, she was pretty decent in the ring. No, she wasn't exactly a mat technician, but she's certainly better than the Bellas, or Eve, or Kelly Kelly, or several others who are still employed. Combine all of this with her heel persona, her sexy French accent, and her relationship with the Miz, and I'm shocked and disappointed to see her go.

Sure, she was hot, but kind of... cookie cutter hot. I prefer women who have more of a stand-out look.

From my point of view, she played the heel role very well. Passable as a wrestler, good with a glamour girl gimmick. This doesn't affect me, but there would've been a lot of Divas higher on my release list.

This new crushed me. She was hands down the hottest Diva in the WWE, may not have been the most talented but damn shes a looker.

I will miss her spaztastic segments in the WWE. Doubtful she'll go to TNA, or any other wrestling promotion. She's a fucking model, like an actual model. Shes got a great body and an amazing face, it won't be long until shes on the big or small screen again. I could see her breaking into Hollywood very easily
