LSN80

any of the 3 in my sig would be allright with me

Interesting choice on HIM. The only song Ive ever heard them play locally here on the radio is Wings of a Buttefly, and it wasn't enough to get me into them. Fortunately, I saw them at a summer concert series with about 10 other bands, and they opened with Funeral of Love, which rocked my world.

Lesbians.

Because it's such a crazy mind fuck.

Im a huge fan of both.....;)

Ok. So Im understanding the love for Black Swan now. Darren Aronofsky is brilliant, and Natalie Portman was PERFECT for the role. The ending absolutely blew me the hell away. I dn't know if there's a thread on it in M&T, but Ill give a longer review if so. Ill say this: Every par, every scene, built beautifully towards the ending. I had no idea what was going on for much of the movie, but the last two minutes tied everything up perfectly. A mind f*k indeed. 5/5.

So then you must feel very similar about The Wrestler?

I saw the Wrestler with my wife, who was uncomfortable with some of the scenes, so that detracted from it for me. But I did think it was a very good film and as good a portrayal of wrestling and behind the scenes as it gets from the autobiographies Ive read. I thought the film was very well done and if it hadnt been for my wifes discomfort for certain parts, Id likely have enjoyed it more. But the ending does have its similarities to Black Swan, for sure. Id say a 4.5 for the Wrestler.

Black Swan is utterly incredible. I never thought I would like it but it was an amazing watch from start to finish. Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman getting it on was just... Just... Mind-blowing.

It wasn't a movie I thought I would like either, to be honest. The only reason I picked it up is because so many people on here raved about it. But even if the movie would have sucked ass, which it didnt at all, the Kunis/Portman scene would have made the movie a 5/5 alone. ;)

Yeah, it was really one of the best movies of the last few years. Natalie Portman picking up the Oscar for her performance was right on the mark. I suppose the plot loaned itself to a great leading lady and that is why it seemed as though she did a great job. Still, she deserved it more than any one for that performance. It was a gripping story with great acting throughout.

I don't know whether to love or hate LSN80 for his use of Mickie James as his avatar, so I'll just stay indifferent. Good poster though.

Well, you've been using the Mickie avatar longer, I believe, but we do ue different ones. But indifference works for me. You dont have to worry about pleasing or pissing people off that way.;) But thank you for this.

Mickie is extremely hot, so I am digging his avatar...

Would we still be boys if I told she Id take one night with Mickie over a week with Tara? :)

I couldn't have said it better myself bro. The movie was perfectly casted, as Portman slid beautifully into the leding role. I agree that the plot was set up in a way that several great actresses could have filled the role, but I couldn't imagine anyone other then Portman filling it at the same time. She was that brilliant. A great supporting cast, as Vincent Cassell was his usual brilliant self, and Mila Kunis was great in her role, in more ways then one. ;)

Probabky my favorite movie since Up in The Air, which didnt win Best Picture the year before, but I believe it should have. One of my biggest pet peeves with movies is when they don't tie up loose ends, and Up in the Air did so from the biggest to the smallest detail, and left you thinking at the end as well. For those who havent seen it, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

Of course, as I wouldnt be sharing anyway haha!

I didnt like it at first, but not I am loving Mickie's country girl image in TNA. Just hoping that we see some more Mickie v Tara matches, its about time Lisa Marie got another title run

Replied to it as well, missed this series I must say. Have you though of doing these for Mid Carders?

I did awhile ago, I just hadnt been posting much for awhile. I totally missed Sheamus' title reign, and I need to do Barrett's before he loses his. Good post, btw. Ill be sure to get to both this week, so at least we can have some predictions up before the titles change again. But look out for Christian, coming soon, either tonight, or tomorrow.
