Im technically a psychologist, but I work under my therapy license, if that matters at all.

As for your question, I dont take advantage of their fragile emotional states. Just their equally fragile sisters/cousins/mothers..... Which if true id lose my license in about say....a week? I try to be respectful of everyone I see because at times it could be the difference between life or death, as Ive seen many a suicidal client. Ive had three commit suicide,which is why I dont practice under my psycholgist banner anymore, because all 3 offed themselves on meds I prescribed them. I couldnt handle that again.

Marriage and Family psychotherapy is mostly what I do, but I work with children with Autism and Asbergers as well because Im passionate about those kids. My state also allows for an exception license(which I have) to get a license in pharmacology a prescribe medication. Depending on how far you want to go in the field, Id look into getting one as well. It allows for complete autonomy when practicing, which is something I really like having.
