i've read (and replied) to more than one thread about returning a King of the Ring pay per view here before.

i really have no idea where new threads should go or how they are organized. thankfully, i just reply as i'm able and allowed to and let everyone else figure out where and when to start up the new threads.

but on to the topic of this one: king of the ring! it is an awesome idea. maybe not exactly the way the original poster suggested and certainly not with Miz coming out with the belt. that'd be just too much to take too quickly. it's not like it'd be a "fluke" money in the bank trick win, but it's too legit for Miz at this stage to win a tournament cleanly for a World Title.

i'd be all about some kind of dirty finish to Cena/Batista at over the limit so that the title is vacated and then king of the ring re-instated to crown a champ. maybe then have the other 3 guys that were in the final four battle it out for the title at fatal fourway pay per view, especially with the amount of main eventers raw has.

and i really liked the idea from years ago of the king of the ring winner getting a number one contender's title shot at summer slam. that would still be cool.

as far as an actual winner to king of the ring...? i'm still waiting for Christian to make it to the main event and to do so in a legit and big way. this would be his night to shine!

oh, and eventually unify the titles at Night of Champions. do that after King of the Ring and Summer Slam. it's about time they get unified again and stay that way. maybe add a little prestige back to them or reason to care about and fight for them.

Judah, replying is a good way to go when you first start. Most new users (for some ungodly reason) just feel so compelled to be "the guy that starts a thread" that they post nonsense in the wrong section, and then THIS happens. Then they have the balls to complain about it, afterwards.

I suggest you keep replying to other threads and get comfortable with the feel and structure of the site. Then down the road you can start threads. You can't go wrong with that.

I will really if WWE brings back the KOTR ppv, it was just an awesome tournament. I just don't understand why they keep adding new gimmick ppv's every year. They should just keep the original ppv's.
