Getting Noticed By Management
I found the minimal use of the Authority during WrestleMania extremely refreshing. Although I thought the Authority/Rock/Rousey segment was time killing filler and nothing more, at the end of the night that turned out to be the only real Authority appearance. Orton/Rollins was just about those two and J&J (so tied to Rollins I don't consider them the Authority). HHH/Sting was just about the participants, the NWO and DX. Most interesting was Seth's involvement at the end of the title match. Not only did Rollins come out by himself I found it oddly interesting that he celebrated at the end by himself without Steph/HHH. (Heyman swerve coming? Stay tuned
). I've been one to complain about the overuse of the Authority so I'll step up and give praise when WWE gets it right and doesn't shove them, or Kane and Show as heavies, down our throat.
Will this be the case going forward? Probably not, we'll probably get the Authority in spades tomorrow on Raw. But for one night they got it right.
