First thread i've started so bear with me if it sucks.
At what point does Lacey simply become just a valet? Hopefully tonight them losing the titles is a step into that direction. She is brutal and completely clueless in the ring.

I heard she was thinking about taking time off because of things going on with trying to keep custody over her son so yeah I think she won't be on tv in a while.

I thought she was funny. She did a couple of moves and bumped around like nobody's business. I just wish they would take more of a Kevin Nash approach with her. Just have her come in, knock some people out (she has a killer lariat), and claw someone; maybe a knee, a boob, prolly a head every now and then.

I would actually put her in more matches. Like I've been raving since she debut, the chick has all the tools (charisma, looks, acting) except for the match experience. Then again, this is TNA.. And TNA doesn't know how to hide their worker's weakness at all.

It's hard to feature someone and hide thier weeknesses when that is all they have. A pretty face does not a great wrestler make. Just ask half of the WWE divas. I don't know who you are looking at but the girl has no charisma and her acting skills are nowhere to be seen and her in ring ability is worse than anyone on either roster. It doesn't take a golden globe winner to play a dumb blonde. Honestly all I see Von Erich usefull for is doing half nude photo shoots.

And doing a bunch of stiff, generic wrestling moves and spots does not a great performer make. Just ask all the divas and the Knockouts who don't stand out as much as Lacey or Velvet. In the case of Lacey, she is still young and that TNA learning curve isn't nearly has sharp as those Divas who work 300+ days a year.

I guess charisma and humor are subjective. However, I do know that not everyone looks for obligatory "wrestling" skills first. If Lacey had more of a work ethic back in 2007 when she was as WWE signee, I believe she would be a big deal right now because the WWE is good at making people look good.

Or maybe Lacey needs to ****e out her last name, all of her Father's signature spots, and go "Remember my daddy, Kerry Von Erich? Yep! That's my daddy! " and maybe people wouldn't be so hard on her. I can't imagine her being any worst than DH Smith.

I really like Lacey von Erich. She's abysmal in the ring, but she's extremely good-looking and is very "charming" as Crock & Soapguy put it in another thread. She really needs a lot more match training, but she is good in her role as a dumb blonde. Also, whenever she's on TV, I feel compelled to watch her. It's not just because of her looks; I feel she has that little something extra. A sort of "It" Factor if you will.

To hide her weaknesses and play to her strengths, she really needs to be in a non-wrestling role. I don't want to see her valet, since valets barely do anything, but a backstage interviewer role could work.

Or she could get more wrestling training and really hit it big. You never know.

tonight on iMPACT i just saw one of the worst matches i have ever seen...it was for the Knockouts tag team championship...all 4 of the knockouts were bad..but lacey is probley the worst female wrestler ever...she did not connect one single move..just release her

I can not believe this woman is the seed of one of the great Von Erich's. This woman can not wrestle. She can not act. And therefore can not entertain, (besides the fact that she is hot).

I was watching Impact tonight and had to fast forward through her match because I was so disgusted. Her wrestling ability is so horrible, I think I could do better not ever having stepped into a ring.

I admit the match was bad and that she's not great in the ring. But I'm honestly weary of bashing on her. I mean her family's style of wrestling is as old school as it gets, some of which doesn't mesh well with today's style of pro wrestling. Also, how often does she actually get in the ring? They haven't had her in a lot of matches and for the BP's being knockout tag champs, they didn't defend the belts a lot. I also felt a little bit bad for her because of the pressures she has, I mean she's the first of her family to be back in the ring in years, top that off with who her dad is and how his life ended. So as for me, while I recognize her weaknesses, I'm cutting the girl some slack.

Never thought someone as bad as Lacey would actually a connection to the von erich family "I mean the first thought of her was von erich like the family of great wrestlers in the hall of fame no it cant be she sucks". Honestly i dont know why she is still on there TNA just wasted space. Lacey Von Erich is just plain awful and it's been that way since she first stepped in a TNA ring. She is clumsy, uncoordinated, and should be kept out of a wrestling ring before she hurts herself or someone else. Usually when a person tries something they're not good at, they practice and get better but she has not improved at all since day one.

She has charisma and has a cute factor and a dumb blonde that you can't really hate.

She just needs more in ring work.. she can do better if she had more practice.

I don't HATE Lacey, i WANT to see her do well.

That should say something.. I believe she has a future because she does have that IT factor. She really stands out amoung the KOs.

There's no question that Lacey, despite her extreme hotness, couldn't have a great match on her own if her life depended on it. But I don't think that's her fault entirely. Up until a couple of years ago, she had no interest in getting into wrestling. So she started pretty late. It also seems that she doesn't get much match time in TNA. Whenever the Beautiful People wrestled, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne did most of the work. I think if she had stuck around with WWE when she first got into wrestling, she'd be much better than she is now because she would've gotten proper training and guidance in WWE's developmental system.

I can't speak for if/when she'll "simply become a valet", but I have do have two things to note:

1. You're sort of getting your wish, as the incident on iMPACT! last night saw her "injured", so that may be a prelude to her taking some time off, or at least being written out of the wrestling aspect of the show for now.

2. Women's wrestling is not a draw, has never been a draw and will never be a draw. Women, for one reason or another, lack the same ability to make the wrestling look incredibly real (for the most part), and their body types/weight are also at their disadvantage as they're not able to sell various aspects of the sport as well as their male counterparts – as a result, it's entirely unnecessary that women be able to wrestle like Bret Hart (circa 1990's, not the 2010 incarnation) during their matches, as no one watches anyway, and the those who do certainly don't watch to be impressed by physical ability. They watch in hopes a nipple pops out.

Well, at least she's a perfect 10 in the looks department. In terms of wrestling, probably a negative 10. I remember distinctly last night on iMPACT Lacey botched one move so bad that afterwards Taz said "....What the hell was that?"

It's unfortunate, because her wrestling skills are probably making her dad turn over in his grave. I feel like she could improve some, but she'll probably still be pretty terribad.

I would definitely not give up on her yet. She absolutely has the look and "it" factor. Sure she has the sh"it" factor in the ring but she has been training and believe it or not I would call what we saw last night an improvement. I never thought Rob Terry would be passable in the ring and he seems like he is getting there. Have her take some short time off and train some more. If she cannot get it have her do a sugar daddy storyline hanging out with whichever veterans end up on the heel side.

I really can't see how anyone can defend Lacey Von Erich. She's easily the worst female wrestler in either TNA or WWE. I wholeheartedly agree that she's a mouthwatering muffin to behold, but the girl simply cannot wrestle. I have a feeling that if Lacey Von Erich was working for the WWE instead of TNA, she wouldn't have quite as many people rushing to her defense.

The difference between most of the WWE Divas, not all but most, is that they can actually put on pretty decent matches when they're given enough time to do so. Layla & Tiffany actually had a pretty decent match on Superstars last night. It wasn't great, but it was loads better than what we ususally see on Raw or Smackdown from the Divas. Lacey, on the other hand, just isn't able to wrestle no matter how long her matches are. She hasn't had nearly enough training to be in the spot she's had for so long. I've heard some say on here that's she's funny and charismatic and I certainly don't see it. Being beautiful and charismatic don't always go hand in hand. Lacey is a hot piece, no question about that, but she isn't charismatic at all.

I love the idea of Lacey being someone's valet. I even suggested it in my review of iMPACT! last night. Lacey Von Erich is remarkable piece of arm candy but one lousy female wrestler.

The woman is drop dead gorgeous, her kind of beauty is very rare I have to say. She is pretty much shit in the ring but people need to remember that she doesn't have much training. TNA doesn't have a development farm like WWE, so she pretty much has to train by herself which hasn't been going well for her. She does have charisma because no matter how terrible she is in the ring, I still love and adore her. Her clumsiness is rather cute to me, she's like a baby xD

If some of the wrestlers backstage would train with her, I'm sure they can turn her into a fine wrestler. So far, she has all the tools to make a great wrestler, she is beautiful, she has charisma, and she has the "it" factor. Wrestling is her only problem but I say give her time, she's only 24 years old, she has her whole wrestling career ahead of her

I think a lot of people who keep bringing up her family name forget (or don't know) she wasn't raised as the daughter with a pro wrestling legacy to live up to. Her mom didn't even let her watch wrestling as a kid. So, people are cursing her because of she isn't wrestling like her dead family members?

But I am glad she ain't. The way she makes fun of herself in matches is great. haha
