Yeah he was. He was injured, that's why he didn't.

They would still have him counting down till wm 24. They wouldn't have screwed with that build up.

All that build up? They had a clock on WWE.com. It was hardly the angle of the century.

They could have the title vacated and then fought over, probobly put back on Batista.

They chose to put it on Edge. They decided to take the title shot away from Kennedy instead of waiting to see if he recovered in time for a proper world title run.

Point is he would cash in at wm 24 and be alot better off now then he is.

But he didn't. He was just in a Money In The Bank match. He'd actually been back on the roster, healthy for months by then.

I think the reason we still hold out hope for Kennedy is because, in my eyes, the WWE sees him as the John Cena of Heels. While Cena is face and gets booed, Kennedy was a heel that largely got cheered. They obviously have something in store for him, otherwise he would have been cut loose by now. He's been injured. A couple of times. Batista, Cena, and Orton have all been hurt multiple times in the last couple of years. Does that stop their seemingly constant pushes? Not in the least. I think they have big plans for him. I think, when he comes back, he should be heel, and he will succeed where Orton is failing.

Kennedy really has never had that real championship push. Dont get me wrong, they had ideas (MITB, Shawn & Taker feuds) but they've been stopped by certain reasons. If Cena, Orton or Batista had missed WM21, would u think they would be as big as they are now. Cena went on to have a long ass title reign thats shining light was that he beat the best of tha best at Mania(I kno it waz JBL, but thats what I remember tha angle), Batista went on to be a very successful monster face after beating his rival, mentor, and old friend Trips, and Orton was elavated into proving that he belonged in tha main event after feuding successfullywit tha Undertaker. Kennedy I believe missed his golden PPV, WM24. If he had been there, he might have came in Champion, or had Cashed in his MITB on tha last night it waz valid.

Many Kennedy haters just dont seem to understand y we lyk Kennedy. The reason is that we see so much future in him. When i saw John Cena for tha first time wrestle Kurt Angle, I knew they wouldnt let talent lyk tht go to waste. When I first heard Kennedy on tha mic, I knew he waz goin places. If they can just get him goin into the right direction, he will be big.

i guess i would be considered a kennedy mark. i do believe he will be the future of the wwe if he just stay healthy. i disagree about him being a heel though. his pops are too massive to ignore. like the rock back in the day. not everyones gonna like the guy, get over it. but i think the orton marks are way more annoying. not gonna elaborate.
