Dark Match Winner
In another thread, someone pointed out that since Burchill is not even close to being a main-eventer, this feud is bringing down Kennedy. When he retired Regal, I expected Kennedy to be placed right into the WWE title picture, as he was massively over with the crowd. Now, he is opening matches on raw. He needs to move past this feud. I would place him in a feud with JBL to help rise him up, and then Regal when he returns. But Burchill is good, but too low for him. I am happy, however, to see Burchill being used.

What and Kennedy is close to being a main eventer? Please I don't know what the big fuss about Kennedy is. The reactions he gets are mediocre at best, his matches are usually boring and turn offs, and his mic skills are overated. I don't see in any way that Kennedy is close to the main event- if you look at the main event picture on Raw (excluding injuries) the order is effectively:

HHH
Cena
HBK
Orton
JBL
Jericho
Hardy
Umaga
Kennedy

Kennedy is nowhere near the main event and to suggest he is, is disllusional. I think that he has some potential but the guy hasn't even had an IC title run, so there are limited options for him to feud with. While I agree that a JBL feud may help elevate Kennedy further if it goes well, the Burchill feud/storyline isnt actualy that bad so I think it is good for Kennedy. Coupled with the fact that it will probably lead on to the intended Regal/Kennedy storyline when Regal returns then I think it is a good short-term feud.

i think this fued couldve done well, Paul Burchill is a talented guy and I do prefer him to Kennedy, but its credibility has been shattered simply by the timeframe of their match, it doesnt look good on anyone as it doesnt elevate Kennedy, and it only buries Burchill, well thats what i think anyway

Let the damn feud play out before passing judgement...They need to let both these guys have some well-done, brutal matches with eventually having Kennedy come out on top then feud with either JBl or the IC champ..You can also have Burchill or Kennedy win the belt from Jericho due to interference from HBK or somethin to that effect..Then that adds a nice element to the feud..I think this fued has potential for both of these performers.

I personally dont want to see kennedy in a heavyweight cahmpionship or wwe championship match for a couple of years. So the Regal/Burchill angle is a good place to help him build some kind of momentum away from the headline spot.
I really like Burchill and I really like kennedy, so having them feud is reason enough for me to watch Raw. Plus I live in England so its not like I'm gonna win any money for watching! I agree that the feud shouldnt have culminated in a match this early, I liked the previous week when Burchill let Oooh manga take his place, and I hoped that would continue for a while. However, the clean pin by kennedy kind of spoiled it all fro me, but the after match bit with katie Lea and the Twisted Sister has restored my belief that WWE might actually make a good feud last.
