1) What was the obsession with pushing Haku/Meng? Was it just another one of those 'he was big in the 80s up north' deals?
2) Norman Smiley - why did WWE not pick this guy's contract up in 2001? He's clearly one of the better aspects of that era of Nitro's shows and very entertaining.
3) Do you think Russo was aware of how bad his work in WCW was and if so at which point did that penny drop?

Nah. He was always getting the occasional midcard push in the vein of Kane today: you build him up for the sole purpose of having someone knock him down. That's a tale as old as time in wrestling.

Also, Meng and Barbarian are the shit, and I'd rather have them than Kane, Big Show or Mark Henry right now. Only thing they needed was better finishers.
What is this huge infatuation that I am seeing with regards to bringing back title "X"? It took 2 WMs since I restarted watching WWE for me to see any worth being put on either MidCard title in existence, and that too, only because the 2 Major Babyfaces in the company have been selected to hold them. 
Why do people still want more titles????
I'd actually love if Ambrose vs Harper(i.e. personal feuds) was developed further, as I see potential in that feud if done correctly... too bad WWE doesn't promote it well enough to make more people care about it...

They were around in old companies (most of which are out of business) so they MUST be good now.
I haven't heard the time period specified yet.
They've surprised me before so maybe they will again.
That would be good but Sting works best against power guys.
Following on from that:
Why do the WWE insist on repeating Superstar X vs Y 10 times before the PPV only to give us a more serious longer version at the PPV itself?
If say, the feud is Reigns vs Rollins, how about Reigns going against... Harper, Barrett, Cesaro, etc... Rollins goes against Big E, Ziggler, Ryback, etc.. on the way to the PPV where Reigns vs Rollins would then actually seem like a payoff?!?!
Of Course, they both would have interactions in some for or the other, leading upto the PPV, but not in an actual match as WWE seem intent on doing for every Main Event feud...
Edit: I forgot to mention how Neville vs Rollins was a breath of fresh air this past Monday night, and also, so was Cena vs Stardust. More please, WWE!

I'm going to go Austin due to how big their matches were and how different their characters were. It was such a natural rivalry.

Thing is, as seen with Neville this past Monday, putting a lower card guy in a longish match with a Main Event guy would surely freshen things up and also make the lower guy seem like he's worth something so the crowd can give a shit when he makes an appearance, as opposed to seeing him enter and saying,"Oh, it's that piece of crap coming to get squashed."
