After seeing how Brock Lesnar was booked at the Rumble, with taking all that punishment and still pulling off the victory... can the average fan suspend their disbelief with regards to someone like a Bryan or Ziggler going over Brock cleanly? I, for one, can't see it whatsoever.
People bring up Eddie vs Brock, but conveniently don't mention the Goldberg factor in that match. That match was used as a vehicle to further the animosity between Brock and Goldberg going into Mania, whilst Eddie ended up facing Kurt instead.

In this case, between Reigns and Bryan; I always felt that Reigns was more believable as a threat to the Unstoppable Force called Brock Lesnar.
Also, did you catch the Post-Rumble interview with Cena, where he basically said that Brock was on another level and he didn't know who could beat him? On last RAW, Seth Rollins of all people said practically the same.
It all adds up for the story they want to tell between Brock and Reigns...

Are any of Vampiro's comments to Konnan a shoot? And if they are do you know the story behind them?

I know they don't like each other due to their time together in Mexico. I think it's something about one of them taking an endorsement deal from the other.

Can't find your review of the simulcast when Shane bought WCW. I saw the Nitro version but you cut off just before the simulcast. Is the Raw one on the site?

Thoughts on the Monday Night Wars documentary?

Think Bryan-Ziggler will happen at Mania or is it all just teasing?

Rollins and Reigns both look set to win the world title in the near future, do you think Ambrose will get a title run in the next 2 years or so?

That it could be cut in half and take up far less of my time while still accomplishing the same thing.

I think it actually might.

Good chance of it.

Are you surprised WWE hasn't just accepted the fact that fans are not willing to accept anyone but Bryan? Why, in your opinion, won't they just accept it and let it happen?

I like Reigns a lot, but Jesus Christ, just give them what they want. As sad as it is and as unhappy as it makes me as a fan, WWE is literally ruining Roman Reigns by going forward with this push. There's no way all those intelligent people running that company couldn't see this coming... right?

Bryan isn't the most mainstream acceptable guy in the world. At the end of the day, it's a lot easier to put someone like Cena or Reigns on a national TV show or a poster than someone who looks like he's spent the last ten years living in a cabin in the woods.

It's really not that easy but Bryan maybe. I can't get it with Ziggler.

Could you possibly give me a few reccommendations for the following on the Network as I've got a week off.

- Great documentaries
- Great matches
- Good original series episodes (Countdown, Rivalries etc.)

Please and thank you.

Rise and Fall of ECW
Billy Graham
Any of the top 25/50 shows are worth seeing
WCCW if you don't mind having your heart ripped out
History of the World Heavyweight Championship
Austin
Edge
Punk
Heyman

Anything great you haven't seen before really. Uh....Cactus Jack vs. HHH at the 2000 Rumble, WarGames 1992 at WrestleWar 1992, the Flair vs. Steamboat trilogy (Chi-Town Rumble, Clash 6 and WrestleWar 1989) and anything from Wrestlemania X7.

Countdown is good if you want something lighthearted and easy to sit through. Rivalries isn't bad. Wrestlemania Rewind is good too if you want the hype to a famous match.

Thanks man.

There's top 25/50 shows? Didnt realise that.

Why do you reckon there's no uniformity on how WWE stylizes Wrestlemania? It annoys me that some are Arabic numerals and others Roman numerals (and the confusing x-seven and 2000).

The Big Slow feud is done for Reigns, right?
Reigns is getting booed with a sprinkle of cheers, but he is getting reactions at this point, which means people are interested in his segments... surely the WWE know perfectly that the better he does in the ring, the more well-received he will be by people who might be on the fence with regards to Reigns.

Your thoughts?

I have a bad feeling we'll get a gimmick match at Fast Lane.

I think so yeah. He's certainly not universally hated and that's the best sign they can have.

:disappointed:
Wouldnt be surprised at all, tho, we both know regardless of the type of match it is, it will hurt Reigns much more than help him. Which will lead to a lacklustre Mania Main Event.

If you had to book Reigns from RAW next wk till Mania, what would you do with him?
Personally, I'd have run through loads of heels on the roster with the exception of Rollins, Rusev and Wyatt... and try to give him longer matches against the better workers he'll come up against, but with him being dominant enough to look like a threat to Brock.

Does anyone have a logical explanation as to why that Reigns-Show match tonight wasn't booked as a total squash for Reigns? Are they trying to get Reigns over or not? I swear it's like they WANT to bury the dude ffs.

Last Night, due obviously to the Rumble backlash, both Rollins and Rusev were cheered by the crowd. Has it now come to the point where WWE has to be less rigid with the Babyface/Heel dynamic?

the SHIELD got over as BadAss babyfaces more than anything and the fans were eating that up all along.
Rollins became the scumbag heel, but as he is put in matches such as the 3-way, it is inevitable his treacherous act will be forgiven... however, both Reigns and even Ambrose, have been written in such ways to lose their 'coolness' factor, which have caused both their momentums to fall somewhat. There are other superstars who would benefit from such as well.

Even the Reigns vs Brock match should be built as 2 guys getting ready to tear each other apart and the build up should centre around them both proving they are superior to the rest of the roster by the time Mania hits... yet whilst Brock is already there, Roman is struggling to see off the Big Slow with each passing week... is that so because of the usual "Hustle,Loyalty,Respect" theme that Superfaces in the WWE have?

Best and worst traditional survivor series matches?

The second tag team one.

Four Doinks.

No. They need to make the heels more evil and the faces easier to cheer.

And that's one of the biggest problems wrestling has right now: Nobody wants to be a true heel, they all want to be "cool" heels.

They are quite a few 'cool' heels... but factor in that Rusev and Rollins are being cheered by people who I refer to as A**holes... and you can see it is quite difficult to retain a PG rating and make a character hated in today's environment...
