That kind of limits my options.

Off the very top of my head and going with only real teams, maybe the Twin Towers who were the top heels in 1989.

Someone please come up with a better one.

So I was reading the recent Paglino article and was thinking: something that's best for business (e.g. Cena as the top babyface) is always a good booking decision.

I mean, something that's best for business (say a certain decision like a particular champion) is something that's making them a lot of money as people are into it, so wouldn't that make that particular decision a good creative move as people ARE into it?

I don't consider them a regular team.

Uh.....not really. There was a bad Night of Champions last year, Curt Hennig won the US Title back in 1997 and Sting wrestled (kind of) his last match in the original colors the year before.

Happy Birthday.

People that try to find holes in things that don't have them. Reigns may not be John Cena in the ring but he's more than good enough for what he's supposed to be. He's not great but he's adequate. The crowd can carry him the rest of the way if they buy into him.

He hasn't really had a match that has called for more advanced ring work though. Its always been multi man matches and hes had one big one on one with Orton who is very hit or miss when it comes to having a great match. I think we should save his ring work critique for when he goes up against Cena or HHH. Someone like that.

Yeah it's been fine. He's not ready for the main evnet of Wrestlemania, but that's about six months away. That's more than enough time and it's not like he's Khali out there.

To be fair it's safe to say Cena and Batista weren't ready for their respective spots yet but found their groove eventually. Safe to say if Reigns gets the people chomping at the bit to see him punch Lesnar in the mouth at Mania it doesn't make a difference if he's ready or not right?

Would you say Bullet Club is the best faction in the world right now??

What are the odds WWE and/or TNA try something like the Bullet Club??

Bingo.

Well it doesn't have a ton of competition.

Not likely.

Can you provide me with an overview of Davey Smith's time in WCW (1st run)? With an emphasis on how he was used/booked, where in the card was he, did he win any titles, and what were some of his highlights from this run?

No titles, he was friends with Sting and feuded with Vader and Sid. He was basically the second biggest face in the company until Flair came back and took the spot.

Assuming Rollins wins at Night of Champions, was it really necessary for Reigns to beat Rollins clean on Raw? Is a loss to Rollins on PPV really that harmful?

Here's something people have probably overlooked: Reigns hasn't been pinned in a singles match yet. They're protecting him like few others have been protected in years, likely setting up Wrestlemania. So yeah, actually the loss to Rollins would be harmful.

With the rumors about Cena post NOC being either A) he's taking time off or, B) he's going to feud with Rusev, would it be a good setup for him to cut a promo next Monday saying he's so disheartened by losing to Lesnar again (this would fit better if it's mostly one-sided again) that he's taking some time off, only to be interrupted by Lana and Rusev talking about how he's "a typical american who quits after losing"? I think it would set up the feud well.

Also, which do you think is more likely for Cena: time off or Rusev?

I'd hold off on Rusev for a few months. Time off would be acceptable, but I'd rather have Cena deal with the idea of not being able do overcome something.

Do you think we'll see another big shift of wrestling styles again like the shift between the 60's hugfests to the 80s hulkamania style matches and from that to the style we have now? It's something I've been thinking about lately and I think people just being bored with the same kind of wrestling being on screen every single match may be a big reason for the rut wrestling has been in lately.

Maybe eventually but so much of it depends on how developmental goes. Most guys learn there now and if they're all the same, no it won't change.
