In WWE and WCW it is usually easy to tell who is face or heel based off of the wrestlers costume/attire. Do you think costumes are important for determining whether someone is face or heel?

Why isn't Brutus Beefcake ever featured or highlighted on WWE programming? Wasn't he booked to win the IC title at some point(s) but couldn't due to injuries?
He was one of my faves as a kid and, if WWE inducted Koko B. Ware into the HOF, shouldn't Brutus be inducted at some point?

I hate to say this but my interest in Reigns vs Lesnar specifically is dwindling, what can WWE do to fix this? Why didn't they go with Triple H I don't think he's hot enough for him now if they go with it.

Here's something I've noticed: Back in the day it was no big deal for two top wrestlers to wrestle a series of matches in a short period of time even on TV. Ric Flair and Sting had six TV matches for the NWA Championship over a four month period in '87-'88 for example (this isn't even counting the matches at arena shows, this just what was shown on TV). Nowadays, if two top guys wrestle on TV twice in two months for the title people scream "WHY ARE WE DOING THIS AGAIN!!!!!". Wassup with that?

It would have to be at least somewhat funny in its stupidity, right?

Well first of all most of the matches aren't as good as Sting vs. Flair. Also the NWA gets a bigger benefit of the doubt over today's WWE, which looks inept more often than not.

True, but I'm pretty sure if I took time to look I'd find examples of lesser main event level talents than Flair and Sting doing the same thing in that era. Then again, you're quite correct about the WWE ineptness and I'd add the current WWE's matches are pretty much all cookie-cutter/formula matches. I guess I'm of the mind that in that case I'd be complaining about the cookie-cutter match formula and not about which two guys are going at it again in a repeat. But that's just me

To a very brief extent. THe problem is they overshadow the guy they're bringing up, like Flair did with Miz.

Reading the TNA spoilers begs one question: has TNA relegated BFG to a One Night Only caliber PPV? Seriously, where is the interest in buying the show if you don't build it up and tape shows that happen afterwards in kayfabe? I can get taping shows, but at least keep the chronology intact. Watching BFG and having the wrestlers act like they were no tapings forces incredible suspense of disbelief.
I guessed they'd deliver one big bang before going out, but apparently not. Does the treatment of their (former) flagship show prove that TNA is beyond repair?

I've been saying that for weeks. I have no idea what they're doing at that show and there are only three Impacts left. There's no interest in it and I have a feeling it's going to be a standard Us vs. Them show, which they already did at Global Impact Japan.

There will be witnesses and testimonies and usually the penalty is buying the judge beer etc. It's just a fun thing the wrestlers do.
