When The Undertaker used to make lightning bolts, how was that done? Was it seen by the live audience or is it an effect used for just TV?

That's probably really badly worded so apologies.

The same way they would do they pyro at the beginning of the show. It was all very well planned. Yeah the live audience saw them.

Which main event wrestler from either WWF or WCW in say the past 30 years or so had the longest prime? By that I mean the guy who spent the longest time on time on top while at the top of their game.

This is related to a discussion that has come up in another thread.

Do you consider the term "IWC" a derogatory reference? Do you consider yourself a part of the internet wrestling community? Why or why not?

Hey KB can you think of a time anyone was actually dq'd for not jumping off the top rope before the 5 count?

I know top rope moves were illegal at one point, at least in the AWA, and that they switched the rule to the 5 count but I can't think of a time anyone actually lost a match that way.

Not off the top of my head, though around 1992 there was a rule in WCW that you were DQ'd for jumping off the top rope at all.

What is your all time favourite match from the previous Wrestlemanias?

Hart vs. Austin.

Is it too late to turn Orton?

Do you think one of the reasons why Punk walked out was having Batista come back and get inserted into the Main Event of WrestleMania?

Looking at Mania 28, and 29. Punk had two solid matches. WM 28 was the second to last match on the card. Punk vs. Taker at last year's Mania was well received by fans alike. Wasn't Punk's match last year, a "Main Event Match"?

You mentioned earlier how Batista was better than Goldberg. I'm trying to figure it out. They both weren't technical greats, they were muscled intense powerhouses who (in my opinion) were about the same from a technical standpoint. Am I missing something?

Yep. Batista's matches with Undertaker and his 2010 heel turn.

Why did last night seem like it was better than other shows?

Effort.

Anything more tangible? I felt it was to do with a more complete feeling of advancement during the show, rather than the raging repetition and trading of losses that we usually get. It's hard to say there was anything particularly different, at least in terms of the match ups... We prefer stories, right?

Not always. Those stories have to lead to matches.

It also helped that they've been keeping the backstage stuff to a minimum. The crowd's energy, however annoying, did help.

Thats a given. I think there was also an optimism going in, likely out of suspense of the punk situation, the will he/won't he show up. Thanks either way, kb.

PS. Really digging the review of the review stuff on the website.
