Has there ever been a more out-of-touch booking decision? This feels like Starrcade 97 levels of stupidity.

€dit: Yeah, I know the company's wellbeing wasn't on the line here, but everything in the last ten minutes got the exact opposite reaction of what was desired.

I sent Becca an email as soon as it was over:

I've seen over 60,000 wrestling matches in my life and I have never seen a crowd completely change directions like that before.

Now, all hope is not yet lost. There are ten weeks left before Wrestlemania and a lot can change. If they don't change by then though, yes this is missing out on as big of a chance as there is ever going to be.

With all the match combinations they could do for Mania, probably more so than ever guaranteeing big matches, why are they doing the ones like Batista vs Orton that NO one except vince and triple h want to see, and Cena vs Wyatt which makes no sense when Cena could face Taker? I know nothing is set in stone but its mind boggling

Yeah but this is Wrestlemania 30. Surely Cena vs Taker is THE match for the show right? Why have they not done it yet what are they scared of?

Here's the real question about the DB situation - if WWE does decide DB's a big deal, they have to go all in. They can't have another CM Punk/Randy Orton/Ryback #2 situation. What do I mean? DB has to be the #1 guy, meaning he takes Cena's spot. Are they ready to do that?

Maybe Undertaker doesn't want it?

No, because Bryan isn't ready to be the #1 guy. #1A is all you're going to get in WWE and there's nothing wrong with that.

You and I know that, but does this rabid fan base understand this? I've never seen the fans so angry. I'm not sure they'll accept anything less than flat-out #1. With the network launching, they have a lot to lose...

Has there ever been a guy that was never #1 and got better reactions than Bryan consistently in the last year?
